• Nic (4/5): Great location....but the apartment smells! - Location was great! Walking distance of lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. It's very apparent that the owners are well aware of the strong wet dog smell throughout the apartment. As soon as I walked in the door, the smell hit me, they had the big sliding doors open and the windows open in the bedroom, plus a fragrance diffuser on near the entrance. This was a bandaid fix for the smell though, which was really strong in the bedroom next to the bathroom, the bathtub and on the lounge. We spent our days & nights out of the apartment to avoid the smell and had to leave the windows open the whole time we were there. After a couple of nights, I couldn't stand it anymore and made a complaint to which I was told that I would be refunded as long as I didn't do a review!! This place needs a complete makeover, the carpet and underlay need to be replaced, as well as the lounge and the linen needs to properly cleaned to get rid of the lingering stench. I stayed the end of February and by the looks of recent reviews there have been other people experiencing the same as me.....
• Nadine (10/5): Very happy with the stay and will definately book again in future. - Good clean apartment, comfortable bed, excellent location. Door had trouble locking, needed to pull on handle a lot for it to click but it did the trick. Might just need a minor adjustment to fix it.
• Lauren (4/5): Good and Bad at the same time. - Location is great and the beds are clean and comfortable..... except the pillows are not comfortable. Free Car Park underneath is a great plus. Where do i start......well the smell in the apartment is terrible! i'm not sure of the story about how this apartment started but i did try to work it out as the lounge smells like dog as well ( which made you not want to sit on it) and the rooms smell like dog there are traces of dog around (back sliding door needs a good clean where the dog has gone in and out) that you'd think should of been cleaned if you are turning it into accommodation. i had to go and buy some natural smelly spray to be able to bear it ......at least the next guest might enjoy their stay but i can guarantee you it will return if the host does not sort it out (which on arrival all windows and doors were opened so the host would know it smells, so on arrival it wasn't so bad until you walked into the bedrooms and reading previous reviews about the smell from back in January you think it would have been sorted by now. We had to leave to doors opened most of the time until i got the spay, my sister got cold one afternoon and we didn't want to close the doors so i grabbed a blanket out of the cupboard and they did not look like they had be washed and also smelt so bad that we had to put them outside! Apart from the smell the apartment is not clean and if the host pays a cleaner to clean as she states i would be firing them the shower was not clean, hand soap was completely empty i had to get some from my sisters, bathroom mirrors dirty, walls dirty, dust and curly hairs around the toilet floor, inside the kitchen cupboards and cutlery draw need a good clean, cobwebs hanging down in the laundry, tried to vacuum before i left and that didn't work properly and i could not vacuum.

• Peter (8/5): Top location in Williamstown - The location is superb. It is quite spacious and fully equiped. A big plus is the off-street parking, but beware it is tricky getting a big car in and has a door that will bite if you are too slow! Beware the garage door as mentioned before. We suspected a steam clean of the lounge had been done, but maybe not dried completely leaving a smell (not so bad as to detract from the units overall attractiveness).
