Guest Reviews
- caroline (8/5): Bon séjour - Bonne localisation pour visiter Rome. Appartement calme. Très bon accueil et bonne réactivité/flexibilité. Matelas un peu trop mou.
- Valentina (10/5): -
- Borst (9/5): For us this was the perfect stay! - Nice and cosy apartment. Comfortable beds and a Good shower and a perfect location within one of the “go out” area’s of Rome. It literally happens at your doorstep without being bothered by the noise If you don’t like the busy and young crowd going out at knight and the graffiti at trastevere you can best look for an apartment outside this area. Though no noise is heard in the apartment.
The balcony is nice, but you will probably nog sit thare due to the air conditioner located on the same balcony making lots of noise.
- Carlo (9/5): - Die Lage war ideal, vor allem um Abends was zu unternehmen bzw. essen zu gehen.
- Harald (9/5): Perfekt für ein paar Tage Rom, jederzeit gerne wieder!! -
- KarenTC (10/5): Best Apartment in Trastevere. Just perfect - Maria, was a Great host. helpful. Responsive. Friendly.
Apt perfect for 2 people. It was hot, so the Air Conditioner in both bedrooms plus living space. Was Great.
Security was Great. So we could Leave all important documents, money etc, safely in the apartment.
You have to get thru 3 doors to Access the Apt. That was comforting.
If you want Trastevere, thus apt is just so perfect.
If you're arriving at the airport take the taxi. It's fixed price. 55 Euros to centre of Rome.
After 24, hours of Travel from Australia. It was Great to just jump into a cab and be taken straight to the door.
Leonardo was waiting for us. Just Magic.
There was a train strike the Day we had to Travel to Manarola. Leonardo helped us , suggesting we take a FLIXBUS from Tiburtina Bus station. To LA Spezia So we bought tickets on line. The bus Trip took 6 hours, but comfortable. Then caught a taxi to Manarola.
Trastevere, is the place to be in Rome. Cute Cafes & Restaurants spilling over into the narrow cobbled streets, oozing with charm. It's local & Friendly with a cab rank Right on the main street at Ponte Sisto. So go on, book this Apt.
There are no negatives. Everything was perfect

- Tali (9/5): Cute apartment in a fantastic location! - Fantastic location, comfortable beds and great shower. The part meant is small but has what you need for an enjoyable stay. Nothing!
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (9/5): Superb - Amazing location close to many bars and restaurants.
- Kalypso (8/5): It was great - The location was great The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We walked to most of the locations we wanted to visit. Beautiful small restaurants all over
- Simona (9/5): Waiting to book it again! - The details in the apartment are amazing, like the roof, old style and beautiful. It's small, but is all that you need. Harm, a terrace for smokers, all clean. You exit the building and find yourself into a very crowded, but lively area, with traditional restaurants, bars and very nice owners. Prevoius customers put their dirty shoes on the walls. So them, not the apartment!
- Joy (8/5): Quiet, comfortable apartment in a lively neighborhood - The woman who met me was very friendly and explained everything well. My arrival schedule was accommodated and I didn't have to wait at all. The check in was quick and efficient. The apartment was small but nice, with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was also nice, with free cleaning service in the middle of my 9 day stay. Fresh towels and sheets were appreciated. Air conditioning units worked well and were quiet. Kitchenette is small, but includes a nice sized refrigerator and a stove/oven and microwave. Also a coffee maker and electric kettle. There is no electric outlet on the microwave shelf! Very strange. We had to take the microwave off the shelf and put it on top of the stove in order to plug it in.
- Kathleen (9/5): We had a great time. Felt safe always and never too far from where we wanted to go. - Location was great. Could walk everywhere. Just needed more hooks for towels and coffee pods. Maybe a couple of luggage racks. But just being picky. The place was wonderful
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): Great stay in Rome in a cute busy neighborhood you’ll never forget. - We loved the neighborhood soooooo much! It was so great being a tourist all day and then coming home to this lovely cute neighborhood. Food and drink choices galore. Never a dull moment. If you like cocktails, definitely make a reservation at the Jerry Thomas Bar Room… so special. And even though it was busy and loud on the streets, it was quiet in the apartment. Super clean and great host. Would definitely stay again! Nothing!
- Melanie (7/5): Good - Location. Colors inside. Washer and dryer available.
- Tammy (8/5): Cute place that needs a little attention - The location is perfect. Right is the center of everything. Super cute apartment. Colorful, clean, small but it has all you need. Airco was perfect. The management was great leading up to our stay. The bathroom needs attention. The sink was clogged. There is no shelf above the sink. And the toilet tank takes ages to fill, meaning you can only flush the toilet every few hours. This was a major issue for us since 2 of us 3 had a stomach flu. Also, it would be nice to have a few extras like detergent for the washing machine and enough coffee pods for the stay. Also, the door to the terrace is difficult to open and the terrace itself is a bit gloomy.
- Susie (8/5): Cant wait to go back! - Friendly host
Great location
Fantastic holiday Hot water ran out
Blind for loungeroom would be good
- Helle (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice apartment in the middle of Trastevere. There was no noice from the streets, and the air conditioning was exceptionally good. We’ll definitely return to this place next time we visit Rome
- Dagný (8/5): Family vacation in Rome - Very good location and helpfull staff. Short walking distance to everything. We had a lovely stay in Rome. A little small for a family of 5. The sofabed was very small and we had to ask for curtains for that room.
Had to buy a specific type of coffee for the coffee maker, I would have liked that to be in the apartment on arrival.
- Remy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julieanne (9/5): Amazing location, comfortable and perfect for a group of four. - Amazing location, next to great restaurants and nightlife, very walkable and close to bikes/scooters/taxis. Apartment is small but all you need, comfortable beds, good shower, great aircon. Host was accommodating and helped us organize cake and flowers for a birthday. Thank you for our stay! Had to top up on toilet paper, shower amenities and a big mug for tea, but besides that it has everything you need and basic cooking staples.
- Heather (7/5): Good location - The location is good. Trastevere is a lively area with many restaurants, cafes, and nightlife. It is relatively close to the city center - it took approximately 40 min to walk to the Vatican, and 30 minutes to walk to Trevi Fountain for example. Although its location is in the middle of a busy area, the walls are quite thick - we were never disturbed by the sounds while sleeping. The beds are comfortable. The outdoor terrace is nice for sitting, and we hung our laundry there to dry as there’s a washer but no dryer in the apartment. It’s quite small but as there were 3 of us, it was sufficient for our group. We didn’t cook there because we were concerned about the oven. It was falling out of the frame - we were concerned about the risk of an electrical fire if we used it. We wanted to use the coffee maker, but we went to 4 different stores and couldn’t ever find the right pods, despite buying some that we discovered didn’t work. The apartment has seen its fair share of visitors and is in need of some repair. In addition to the oven situation mentioned previously, it needs a good cleaning and some attention to detail. The yellow armchair had so many stains on, as did the bench - we didn’t use them. There were ‘blood like’ stains on my sisters’ sheets, which was alarming.
- Carol (9/5): Wonderful stay in the Trastevere area of Rome. olorful and comfortalbe - The apartment was as advertised, colorful, and in a great location. We were worried about the noise from the area's many restaurants and busy pathways but the apt sits deep in the building so no noise at all. It has everything one needs for a short stay. Not a lot of stairs to climb and very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay in Rome, I recommend this area to stay in as it is close to everything you want to see. We arrived on a Saturday evening from the airport. We were to meet our person who knew we were coming since we messaged via WhatsApp. The apt is on a no-drive street so we had to walk through all the partiers to get to the apt. Our person was arriving 15 minutes after we arrived but in fact, arrived later. Perhaps the traffic was bad for her. Anyways we had to wait about 30 minutes not knowing the area and were surprised by all the crowds. Once in the apt we were pleasantly surprised that you could not hear the noise from the street. but we were surprised when we were told that we had to pay a late fee of 30 euros for a late check-in. This is not mentioned on the booking.com site but was added as a PS on one of the many messages via Booking.com to us that there was a late charge for check-ins after 20:30. (8:30pm). We arrived at 8:50 pm and waited outside the apt until almost 9:30pm. I feel that this needs to be added to the Booking site to warn people. Our flight arrived at 18:30 and with customs and baggage claim, it took us 2 hours and 20 minutes to arrive. Also make sure to ask about the hot water. It was not turned on for us so we had to wait until the morning to get directions to turn it on. For an extra 30 euros, I think that our check-in person should have checked that for us. All in all, I think that a personless check-in is better for everyone, one with a lock box. This seems to work better.
- Laurent (9/5): A real gem of a place, lots of charm, top location. Thank you - Everything was well organised from contact pre arrival, to communication before arrival through to getting the keys, a quick tour of the apartment etc etc. This place is arranged with style, cozy and well equipped and spacious enough. The little terrasse is a great bonus, the area is lively but noise level ok... nothing
- Cynthia (5/5): Good location, poorly equipped apartment. - The property is in a good location and feels safe. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have outdoor space. The wifi was excellent. We were met by a host who explained the property and gave us a paper map of Rome which was essential (mapping apps don't work well here) and greatly appreciated. The apartment is very small and it is poorly equipped. The space could be used much better. For example, a stepstool would be a great addition - some cabinets are hard to reach and a person of less than average height can't see into the bathroom mirror (the only mirror in the apartment). The shower is slow to drain and we had to buy some supplies (paper towels, laundry detergent).
- Veronica (9/5): Loved staying here, excellent location. The accommodation is in the middle of a very active nightlife area. Restaurants - Lovely welcome, location, comfortable beds, washing machine, small outdoor terrace, extremely quiet despite crowds outside in the evenings/late night. Bedroom floors could have been cleaner
- Judy (7/5): Good -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - The location couldn't have been better. Right in the hustle and bustle of Trastevere, but still very quiet. Maybe the cups could have been bigger and perhaps a bigger mirror out side of the bathroom.
- Arce (10/5): Great location, host and space. - Location was fantastic. Just over the river and easy to get to everything. Also, so many restaurants and bar just outside the door. The host was incredibly helpful, responsive and fantastic at giving a run down of the city. We will definitely book again when we are back. It was a fabulous space.
- Crow (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirk (9/5): Charming, quiet little apartment in a historic neighborhood, would definitely stay here again. - Charming, authentic neighborhood with lots of historic restaurants and shops just outside, yet the apartment was very private and peaceful. Very secure as well, with three separate locked doors in order to gain access. Many tourist attractions are within a half-hour walking distance. Host Maria was very helpful and accommodating. Thanks, Maria! Microwave over refrigerator had no electrical outlet within reach, but when I mentioned this to the host she said she could provide an extension cord for it.
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelsey (7/5): Good base for a family. - Property quick to respond to messages, check in smooth, great location with some of the best restaurants in Rome nearby, comfortable beds. Mouldy ceiling in bathroom- lots of little flies. No rubbish disposal facilities (we couldn’t find the bins where we were told they were located), mosquito’s, stuffy smelling air con.
There was some mix up with the transportation arranged by accommodation, however they were quick to resolve the issue.
- Charlotte (9/5): Superb - Excellent location right in the middle of a street of lively bars and restaurants but as soon as you closed the front door you could barely hear the noise from there at all. Walking distance from lots of main tourist attractions. Lovely, brightly coloured apartment, comfortable beds, lovely shower. Perfect for our 2 night stay. Thank you!
- Kristin (10/5): We had 4 delightful nights in Trastevere to top off our trip to Italy. - We loved the neighborhood!! It was alive! Lots of restaurants with outdoor dining, cute stores, food was delicious. Host was very helpful, easy access from the street, comfortable beds...but the best was the neighborhood!! oh yeah, there's a cute terrace where we ate breakfast and hung clothes to dry. We didn't mind the small size because the apartment is so cute and colorful. We spent minimal time there as the neighborhood was the draw. There's actually nothing to note as a negative
- Ramana (10/5): Incredible place to stay in Trastevere! - The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful and went that extra mile. The apartment is so full of character and very comfortable. The location couldn’t be better and is full of so much life and beauty! I will definitely stay here again.
- Ali (9/5): Superb - The location is amazing. Right in the heart of Trastavere and the apartment looks exactly like the pictures. The terrace is great after a day of exploring and you open the door right into the heart of Trastavere which has lots of places to eat and drink.
Carlo our host was lovely and took the time to go over items on the map which we really appreciated. We will definitely be staying here when we return to Rome
- Sally (10/5): Excellent - Excellent accommodation in the heart of Trastevere - we can’t fault it Nothing
- Linda (9/5): Great location in Rome to explore the city and walk to places of interest. - We were travelling from Australia and didn't have access to any internet so this made it a bit difficult as the person I met to collect the was a bit cranky that I didn't contact them 30 mins prior to the agreed arrival time.
- Calin (9/5): Highly recommended for Trastevere especially - the location the design the communication with the owner N/A
- Mac (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marguerite (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (9/5): wonderful - great location.
- Daniel (10/5): One of the best places I’ve EVER stayed in Rome. hopefully we will be able to book again when we are back. - everything nothing
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (10/5): Cool, comfy and perfectly located - I'm hoping to be back soon! - Cute apartment right in the heart of Trastevere district. Despite the hustle and bustle of the street once inside its lovely cool interior you were completely insulated from the noise - perfect.
We communicated with our greeter over WhatsApp so it was easy to arrange to collect the keys. Friendly and helpful, she was great at recommending local places for coffee and eats.
