• Hokona (9/5): - A very nice, well appointed flat in a nice, central but untouristy area of London. The restaurants downstairs can be a little noisy in the early evenings.
• Julie (7/5): Reasonable stay. The host needs to address the ongoing issues so that the property can be a true standout! - The apartment was in a good location, near the tube, major bus routes, with access to various restaurants on Upper Street. The instructions on how to get there and access the property were clear. The apartment itself offered space and was quite quiet considering it is above a restaurant. Some issues that could make a better experience; 1. Shower head needs attention, water spurting out in random directions 2. Only 1 chair in kitchen 3. Instruction book requires accurate and useful information, I.e use of oven, disposal of rubbish 4. Dark room for sleeping, curtains require re think 5. Low or lack of provisions, detergent, salt and pepper, only one stool, no kitchen towel and not enough towels 6. Slow communication
• Ramune (9/5): A comfortable and pleasant stay in a great location with helpful hosts - Cozy and spacious apartment. The hosts were very helpful and responsive, providing all the necessary information promptly. They also kindly allowed us to drop off our luggage earlier before check-in. The location is excellent – quiet, yet close to public transport and surrounded by great little restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed, including a working iron and all essential amenities. We’d definitely consider coming back. Unfortunately, the internet connection was poor, which made it nearly impossible to watch TV. The front door key was also a bit tricky – it took a few tries to unlock it. Additionally, some surfaces could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Although the reservation was for two guests (relatives), only one duvet was provided with a cover — the other was without one, so we had to use it as it was.
• Robert (3/5): Great property some minor improvements needed - First off I don’t mean for this to be an overly negative review because some of the issues are completely outside of the hosts control, great flat setup overall good equipment provided bed etc Now the big one is this is apartment is above a restaurant great in some aspects, but considering they closed before we got back at 23:30, all the tables were left outside and eventually all dragged inside at around 00:00- 01:00 they were not quiet and were actually really loud, the top shower head needs servicing or replacing, in the bedroom maybe having net curtains on the same rail as the curtains isn’t great as you can never shut them and block out the daylight
• Abi (10/5): Spacious, bright and airy apartment with very comfortable bed in great location near great shops, bars and restaurants. - Great location, 10 minute walk to Angel station which is a lovely area in itself. Lovely comfortable bed. Spacious, bright and airy.

• Janet (10/5): One of London’s best - I loved the plush property. Very spacious and so so close to the design centre - minutes away. Right in the middle of Islington so lots of places to eat and drink.
• Joann (9/5): Excellent location, great amenities, enjoyable stay overall. - The location was fantastic. It was surrounded by restaurants, a grocery store, and public transport, and within walking distance of all the venues of the film festival I was attending. The layout was very nice. Comfortable bed, soft towels, and very clean. The kitchen is fairly well stocked, with a gas stove is a plus for me. Adding a microwave would be super helpful. Although in a busy area, I found it to be surprisingly quiet. Travelling alone, I still felt quite safe. Communication could've been faster and better. I never received confirmation that I could arrive early. A photo of the lockbox would've helped. Not from the UK, so I had no idea what I was looking for. Knowing the door would be sandwiched between outdoor tables would also have been helpful. There was no wifi and no response to my inquiries. Knowing there is no wifi will be a consideration for future stays. The booklet said I would get a 10% discount from some local restaurants, but the restaurant (La Vita e Bella) had no idea what I was talking about. The window in front of the bed needs light-blocking curtains or shades, woken with the sun every morning, plus sheers don't provide privacy. Couldn't find the thermostat to regulate the temperature, and it got uncomfortably warm some nights.
• Emily (2/5): Style over substance but in poor repair - Photos looked like it was a beautiful property. Property was not secure, window broken on to flat roof accessible off the street. No towels provided when messaged host they were delivered to street by Uber 8 hrs after checkin when we returned to property but could only be delivered when we were in. Floors not properly fixed, wardrobe doors won’t open as a result, towel rails hanging off wall in the bathroom, no microwave, no tea towels, surfaces and cooker not clean, crockery was dirty in cupboards, curtains don’t close so can’t shut out the light. Quite noisy with bars directly below and on the street.
• Jamie (9/5): Superb - It was a lovely little apartment, allowing you to cook and stay in or explore London. Lots of buses take you straight into London or the tube station is very close. The bed is really comfortable and the entire flat is presented lovely.
• Duncan (9/5): Really nice apartment - Really clean, comfortable property. Nice touches of biscuits and bottled water helped to make it a relaxing stay. Great location for exploring the Islington area with its great bars, cafes, restaurants and music venues.
• Peggy (8/5): Charming flat - Quaint flat with flowers in windowsills. Excellent location, near shops restaurants cafes and tube station. Host was gracious and provided us with extra towels promptly. Staircase light went out second day of our stay and they got fixed just before we left. Our stay was 8 nights. We were using our phone flashlights it was so dark. Host could provide extra set of keys.

• Pam (8/5): Excellent location - Gorgeous apartment, absolutely brilliant location - so easy to hop the bus to almost any attraction or location in London. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, as well as shopping and cinemas. Excellent facilities. Noise manageable given location. Some issues reported to management- minor (shower head and bathroom, lack of towels), which were hopefully addressed after we left. Also- net curtains in bedroom prevent the actual curtains from closing.

• Eleonora (10/5): Excellent place in the heart of Islington - The location was excellent and the flat very well appointed. Nice wood and marble. If I had to wish for anything it would be for a three seater instead of s two seater sofa in the living room and more light in the bathroom especially over the mirror. Minor things. We shall definitely return.

• Kane (5/5): Passable - The apartment was in a nice area of London, it was well presented and comfy. The noise from restaurants below meant we could not relax. One night we had to leave the front room and go into the bedroom as the noise was so loud the floor was shaking.

• Fiona (6/5): Disappointing. - The property is in a great location and is a nice apartment The cleanliness was Ok. To be fair the landlady offered to send out contract cleaners but as I was only there for a short stay this would not have helped. The property is, however, in need of some maintenance - the bath plug (pop up style) did not work so the bath is unusable and the shower head is so calcified that the water jets shoot out all over the bathroom floor. The iron did not work and the TV continually buffers on the wifi so it is hard to watch anything. A real shame as it is a lovely property. Add to that despite 3 requests the property has failed to provide a VAT invoice - overall great potential but disappointing.

• Jonathan (4/5): No wifi - Good location. Appeared as photographed, but not as advertised. The wifi barely functioned, which was a major problem for me. One reason I chose the flat was because the posting said it had wifi throughout. It did not. There was zero wifi in the bedroom. And a tiny bit in the living room that sporadically allowed you to perhaps download an email. Host’s responses were essentially shrugs. Stove/microwave also apparently didn’t function, as well. Although, I didn’t realize it until a repairman showed up during my stay (he didn’t fix it). The flat is directly above a row of restaurants. The noise wasn’t an issue. But the smell of kitchen grease and cigarette smoke do permeate the flat. Additionally, there wasn’t a hair dryer nor a fan - minor points. But they may be important to some, particularly a fan in this heat.
