Aamiaisesta kannattaa maksaa. - Toimiva majoitus jossa ei ole mitään muuta mielenkiintoista kuin tavallista parempi aamiainen joka kannattaa ilman muuta ostaa mukaan. Hyvä sänky. Toimiva suihku. Mukavan hiljainen huone. Sijainti kaukana keskustasta eikä lähellä ole mitään. Ei paha, mutta en tulisi tänne uudestaan. Sijainti on kaukana kaikesta. Hotellin ravintola ei ole auki joka ilta, mutta me osuttiin se testaamaan, ja se oli pettymys. Listalla oli ruoka annokset Balilta ja Afganistanista, sekä burgereita mutta ei mitään Ranskasta!?! Harvoin Ranskassa onnistuu syömään näin huonosti kuin täällä. Syö missä tahansa muualla ennen kuin tulet tänne yöpymään. Aamiaisessa oli mukavasti ranskalaista sävyä mukana, ja tässä varmaankin paras Ibis aamiainen missään.

Extremely comfortable place with great beds and pillows and it was very clean. Staff were Lovely and very accommodating. I would have preferred a room nearer the main entrance door as I had my two dogs with me .

• Ann (9/5): Good overnight stay in Cherbourg, very convenient coming from Bayeux. - Location good, we were going to the port. Convenient for shopping centre. We needed a room on the ground floor due to mobility issues, the receptionist kindly gave us a room near entrance which we appreciate very much. As we had some time before getting evening ferry we visited Château de Ravalet, magnificent gardens, in Tourlaville about 20 mins from hotel. Satnav brought us across country roads so go through town to this castle.

• Barbara Fuchs-Holzer (4/5): Notschlafstelle - aber kein Urlaub - Wir konnten dank Kulanz den Urlaub abbrechen und früher abreisen. Frühstücksbuffet war wirklich mangelhaft. Besteck, Tische, Böden schmutzig und generell fanden wir den Speisesaal eher für eine Cafeteria in einem Werk passend als für ein Hotel. Betten sind echt klein und die Zimmer auch. Kleiderschrank Fehlanzeige und im Bad kaum Platz irgendwas abzustellen.

• Thomas Siegfried (8/5): One night in the Ibis - I stayed one night on my way to Geneva by motorbike. The Brittany Rosslare -Cherbourg ferry had arrived too late to go on. Staff was friendly and welcoming with good English as my French hadn't come online enough yet. Clean and pleasant room with a good TV . Enjoyed a few YouTube videos and slept well. Left late avoiding the rain that had swept through in the breakfast hours. Can recommend!
