Guest Reviews
- Tracy (10/5): Lovely short getaway - Loved the animals on the farm and being able to feed them. Set up very well for self sufficiency. Looking forward to the little fenced yard to be built around cabin so my dog can't scare animals. Loved the new billabong too and the noise of running water. No tv (maybe thats a good thing though) .
- Madeleine (10/5): -
- Narelle (10/5): Absolutely amazing - This place is amazing we had the best time we didn’t want to leave, the animals are so friendly the owners are amazing people, it really is a beautiful place to stay we can’t wait to go back, highly recommend Maison de lavande farm stay
- Renai (10/5): - The animals and lovely yard made for a very relaxing getaway. And the cabin is well appointed and has lovely views. Nothing. It was all positive
- Edward (9/5): Natural and Divine - Sit within the National Park was a great bonus to be in lush natural greenery. The farm animals are adorable and super friendly. Sasha's handmade organic toiletries were sinply divine. Nothing.
- Ro (8/5): it was a very good quality family bonding time with farm animals as a bonus. very relaxing - the animals, the views from windows, the ability to brush animals from kitchen door! the shade marque and set up of some food for you to feed the various animals, the inviting seats with cushions inside and out and preset up outdoor fire, little touches of farm eggs, marshmellows (in case you forgot to bring some), and the steel sticks to use to melt them by the fire, nice soaps etc. to use, beautiful faux fireplace inside, comfortable chairs to sit in, games and books available to use, clean, welcoming, lovely curtains, air con worked well, very nicely behaved chickens/rooster and ducks, lovely set up and mown grass, making it good to walk around, little touches like torches available and solar lights outside in key areas to promote safe walking at night (they turned off later, so as not to be on all night which was good too), quiet in the mornings (not having rooster/s wake us at day light was appreciated), having a mix of dishes to use, extra seats and hamocks in the shade to relax in - often with chickens/rooster keeping you company which was lovely, appreciated the aluminum foil and some sauces etc. in fridge if we needed them, stove worked well, cooked biscuits in oven, and cooked meals with no problem on stove top and in microwave, private, wonderful star glazing at night, great viewing, beautiful drive around surrounding areas, automatic gates into property, geese well mannered, pigs, goats, cows, donkeys all cute. queen bed a bit creaky-floorboards, but comfortable enough, shower has some issues, understand it isn't a quick fix, or cheap, but having quick showers worked ok, very clean. fridge not as cold as I would have liked, but did the job,
- Nicole (8/5): - Had a lovely few days away. Our little one loved all the animals and we appreciated the farm fresh eggs…delicious!
- Vikram (10/5): -
- Jarryd (9/5): - Rooms are tidy and well presented. Showers included handmade soap & scrub which was a nice addition. Wifi would be nice as I couldn't get enough reception on my phone.
- Brian (10/5): A welcome surprise for a brief overnighter - It was very relaxing environment with plenty of animal interaction. A lovely distraction from the days of driving and staying in sterile hotel rooms. Everything available to make this a comfortable self contained stay. Sadly this was only a brief overnight stay for us. Nothing
- Kathryn (10/5): - Peace and quiet. Animals. Friendliness
- Francois (8/5): Great relaxing stay - Great views and very relaxing. Brilliant platter and breakfast. Bed squeeking a bit.
- Joanna (6/5): Comfortable enough for a night. - It was Ok but could do with some work eg. Trim plants, cracked tiles etc Bamboo rubbing all night in the roof.
- Shelley (5/5): Passable -
- Darcie (8/5): Very good -
- Bernadette (10/5): A great place to relax and recharge for the whole family. - Every aspect - inside and outside. It was so fun feeding the animals and relaxing under the shade of the trees while enjoying our charcuterie board prepared by our host. The comfy lounge chairs inside were used to relax while playing the supplied board games. The leisurely walk around the property before enjoying a tasty breakfast, again prepared by our host, confirmed that the choice to book Maison de Lavande Farmstay was the best choice we’ve made in a long time. Our puppy loved the whole experience, too! It’s difficult to think of anything that we didn’t like.
- Deborah (7/5): All in all a very restful spot. - The position was ideal for us. The added bonus of farm live-goats, cows, ducks & chicken was a lovely treat. Very calming spot. We are in our seventies and the bed was not as comfy for us.
- Sgblanc (7/5): Good - It is a gorgeous gorgeous location. The peace and quiet are unrivalled. The animals are so much fun. The cabin is homely and cosy. Such a shame there wasn't a little raised deck to sit on and give you the best view of the gorgeous countryside. And maybe an indication of where we were to park. Otherwise I can't fault it
- Des (3/5): Poor -
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Foxeemuso (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing. This was a desperately needed solo introspection retreat - and a perfect location to do just that. I didn't like having to leave!!
