• Nicole (8/5): Stay in Rome - The apartment was the perfect size, we had 4 adults stay and there was plenty of room to relax. Everything was very clean and tidy. They provided basic toiletries, hair dryer, towels, and maps/info about the city. The apartment photos on the add were accurate. We would definitely stay again! The apartment was on the 3rd so carrying our luggage up wasn’t ideal, however most places in Rome don’t have elevators so it wasn’t a deal breaker.

The stairs, but it was not a surprise and quite manageable. It was actually a great way to not feeling guilty about the amazing food in the area.

Sitting in Via Sistina it was just up from the Spanish steps and the area was quiet during the night. Apartment was very clean… perfect for what we were looking for. Everything was great, maybe as it was so hot outside (34C) the AC in the apartment seemed to struggle to reduce the temperature

Very good location that is in walking distance of most of central rome. Nice views outside, good temperature and useful amenities. Lots of stairs to get up to the apartment.

If i had to chose something i did not like it would be the fact that it is on the third floor without an elevator.

• PHILIP (9/5): Great location, spacious and a lovely place to be - Well decorated, very spacious and had everything we needed. Communication from the host was excellent and it was very easy to organise check in and check out. The location was great for accessing the city attractions. Not many plug sockets for phone charging in bedrooms and it's a long way up to the top floor, but it's part of the character of a lovely building so it wasn't an issue.

Apartment is spacious, very comfortable and very clean. Great communication from the host, who also arranged an airport transfer for us. Very easy check in process. Group of 4, two couples, and the apartment was ideal for our group. We ate out except for breakfast, with lost of cafes, bars etc. close by, so lots of choices. We would be very happy to stay here again. Loved everything. The apartment is on the third floor, so some steps to climb, but this was not an issue for us. Overall we loved our stay here
• Deborah (10/5): Perfect spot in Rome! - The property is exactly as you see in the photos. Very comfortable. Many little shops nearby to get a few items for breakfast if you were dining in. Also, restaurants very close by for breakfast if you are going out for breakfast. There was nothing we disliked. Beds were very comfortable. Great to have the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms separated by the living room. Everything was in walking distance easily. Spanish Steps are 5 minutes away. A really great apartment to enjoy while in Rome. I'd stay here again. Our host was so helpful and answered our questions quickly. One example was where to leave our luggage as check out is 10AM and our flight left at 6PM. Told us where we could store it off site. Very convenient.

• Sarah (9/5): Perfect base to explore Rome - A lovely apartment in a fantastic location with easy access to tourist sites, convenience store, restaurants and the metro. As to be expected with older buildings, there were several flights of stairs. Good exercise for us but may be an issue for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues.

• Marianne (10/5): Exactly as Described... And Better! - This property is is spacious and clean, very modern conveniences are available as noted in the Booking.com description. It is within walking distance of many major attractions including the Spanish steps (you start at the top! ). Good location for public transportation, shopping and restaurants. Additionally the hosts answer almost immediately for any questions or assistance you may need (pre-visit, during the visit and post visit) They were on top of everything, including arranging car service to and from the airport, and I really appreciated that! This is an historic building so there is no elevator only steps to the top floor apartment, so I would not recommend for anyone with a disability.

Location was excellent within a 10 Minute walk to the Trevi fountain and 5 minutes to the Spanish Steps and Spagna The stairs are a bit of an issue when taking luggage up to the apartment - they did get easier as the days went by

The owner has made this a home away from home with all the extras that make your stay comfortable, such as coffee pods laundry detergent and ironing facilities. the second bed room and bathroom are separated by a large living room. I found the beds very comfortable. Contact by owner made for a seamless check in and out. Thank you for a perfect stay in Rome we will be back 😍 Stairs would be tough if you had mobility issues.

• Ayse (10/5): excellent place to stay - Special thanks to Simone, he was very helpful. The apartment was beyond our expectations. Its located very close to the Spanish steps and also close to Fontana di Trevi and close to metro station. Very clean, well equipped (toiletries, towels, kitchenware etc), modern furniture, good internet, enough heating, comfy beds. Self check-in was easy. In summary, everything was well thought. We would definitely stay there again in our next visit. The one and only point of improvement (for hygiene freaks like me) would be that, it would be more hygienic if the duvets were totally covered with duvet covers. But of course there were clean sheets under the duvets, so not a very big deal.

Definitely recommended! thank you simone - The location is very close to some of the major land marks in rome. Staff was very friendly helpful and approachable ready to help us for any needs. The apartment was clean and in a quiet area. The apartment was also equipped with a coffee machine (and pods) and a twin washing machine which we found very usefull since we where attending a sporting event. Both bathrooms where clean and supplied with enough towels for the whole stay The only little downside is that is reached only with stairs and is at the top floor so accessibily is a bit limited.

One shower head didn’t work initially but this was fixed by the maintenance people the next day.

• Sunny (8/5): Comfortable stay in convenient location - Good location, close to Spanish Steps. Good space for our party of 5 - bedrooms were separated and there was a good size living room. Liked having the kitchen space as we bought groceries to eat in breakfast. We were able to drop off our luggage early as we arrived way before check in time, so that was convenient. Steps are tiring, but we knew that when we booked. One of the bathrooms is a bit small - my husband is tall and didn't fit in the shower very well. Also, the showers didn't have the best water pressure. One bedroom doesn't have AC - there is a fan that helps some, but it's hot in the summer. Also, one bathroom had a weird smell the whole time - we couldn't figure out the problem.

• Patrick (10/5): Wonderful apartment in the city within walking to restaurants, tourist sites and Metro. - Residenza Piazza di Spagna, a two bedroom apartment, was very comfortable for my wife and I during a seven night stay. The family room, bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent. The kitchen and dining room were well stocked with appliances, dishes and cooking items which we did not use. Tourist locations like Spanish Steps, Tevi Fountain and others were just a short walk away. A nearby Metro Line A station would take us to the Vatican City or to the Central Station for a transfer to Metro B for the Coliseum. The owner checked in with us several times during our stay to make sure everything was satisfactory. This apartment is on the third floor without an elevator. It was sixty five steps up and down each day. It was not a problem but I mention it as a consideration. Upon arrival with two 30 lb suitcases the stairs were a surprise. In Rome each day we walked an average of six miles so to come back to hike more stairs was tiring. Fortunately, this third floor apartment was quiet!
• Svetlana (9/5): Spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, 5 minutes walk from the top of the Spanish steps. - Spacious apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. 5 minutes walk from the top of "the Spanish Steps" (Scalinata di Trinità dei Monti - Pincho Hill) and 10 minutes to Villa Borgese park. Authentic courtyard, entrance, windows. The apartment is clean, contain notices on how and what to use. Easy check-in with code. Be prepared to overcome high steps of a ladder up to the aparment without an elevator, but if you're sportive and young and don't have small children/ a stroller, it wouldn't be an issue to you. Just keep in mind steps. It's not a disatvantage, you are just to be aware of that fact.

The host is really kind and helpful. We will definitely choose this apartment again in our next visit in Rome! The apartment is located in the third floor of a historical building and the absence of an elevator may be a problem for older people.

• Gilat (8/5): Had a great stay, would surely recommend this place. Rome is magnificent! - The apartment is very spacious and designed beautifully! Was spotless upon arrival. Communication with our host, Fabricio, was great, he was always there to give us tips and help us out when needed. only drawback is the fact that there isn't an elevator. So if you come with a large suitcase bear that in mind, it's definitely doable, but worth considering if you have any difficulties with steps.

• Gary (8/5): Residenza di Spagna is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location. - The apartment was beautiful. The location was excellent. The beds and furnishings were comfortable. The stairs. There were seven flights of nine stairs each (63 stairs) that you had to climb to reach the apartment. Getting our luggage up was challenging - we are in our seventies.
