Guest Reviews
- Stephanie (10/5): - Great place to stay. Will hopefully stay again soon
- Michelle (8/5): Great value for money. Don’t be put off by overgrown garden. - Had all the basics we needed for our trip. Hosts very helpful and great communication. Great value for money. Clean beds and a hot shower. Quiet safe area close to shops. When you arrive garden very overgrown and a bed first impression but house clean and had all that we needed. We were travelling with kids for a sport event so only needed clean beds, hot shower and a space to eat breaky. And it has all that.

- Jennifer (6/5): Good location and pleasant apartment - The whole apartment presented as fresh and inviting, and we were really pleased to have comfortable beds for the three nights. However, an extra blanket or two would have been appreciated as the doona was very thin. Although the heating system was very noisy, it warmed all rooms very efficiently and quickly. We noticed that the two-seater couch was at the end of its life and an extra easy chair (or two) would have made a big difference to the seating comfort in the living space, especially for more than two people. Having used booking.com and other booking services many dozens of times times, I have noticed that it is often the ‘small things’ that make a difference and can easily and cheaply be addressed by the host.
The very unkempt garden needing mowing and weeding did not make a good initial impression, not did the very dirty picture window in the living area overlooking the garden.
I was very surprised to find that there was no milk in the fridge – surely a given - and two days into our stay when I located sugar and instant coffee shoved to the back of a shelf in the living area, both had unappealingly set hard in their jars through lack of use. Really, sachets are the preferred option.
The large non-stick saucepan was badly scratched and gouged, not inviting use; the toilet paper was very thin and cheap; there was no absorbent bathmat and the toilet seat was cracked.
I do hope the host sees fit to remedy some of these deficiencies to enhance and improve what is otherwise pleasant accommodation.
- Lynn (5/5): Underwhelming, needs a good spruce up. - Good access to where we needed to go. Comfortable enough, very average compared to other places we have stayed. First impressions very underwhelming. Very overgrown garden, weeds invading front steps and entry quite dirty.
The outside light did not work so coming home in darkness was very uncomfortable with no security. We had to use torches on our phone.
The host hadn’t even left a little milk. Not even long life.. ( first time I have experienced that.) the towel rack in bathroom was falling off the wall.
- Enniss (9/5): Superb - Clean and comfortable. The place was quiet and had a good television and everything we could need. The only point we could nitpick was the lack of locks on the bathroom.
- Jaquelin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amandeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (7/5): Good - The inside of the house has been renovated, which made it feel modern and comfortable. The beds were of good quality and comfortable. The outside needs some work, and the garden is poorly maintained, which made it seem like it wasn't a place of short-term rentals. We had to walk around the outside a couple of times to check that we were in the right place. The pillows, on the main bed, are terrible, felt like 2 large bricks. The heater works well. However, it sounds like a wind storm and we had difficulties in trying to turn down the fan.
- Yun (10/5): Exceptional - In a quiet community. With a garden can be used for physical exercise.
