- Soraya (9/5): Un jardin d'eden à Eito, Paul! - On a adoré le lieu, l'accueil d'Antonio (procédurier mais chaleureux), la vue est dingue, c'est très calme, proche de pas mal de sentiers de rando, rhumerie en face, restau en face, mercado la porte à cote. 20 mn de marche pour descendre à Paul, là ou se trouvent les aluguers pour Ribeira Grande. Il y a des aluguers qui passent et s'arrêtent en face de la résidence aux heures de pointe. Si vous êtes chargés, ils vous descendent moyennant quelques escudos. Petit déjeuner complet et qui varie chaque jour avec oeuf au plat, du pain, des fruits, des boissons chaudes etc. C'est l'eau la plus chaude du Cap-Vert ! Vous ne regretterez pas, c'est un petit coin de paradis. L'eau ne coulait pas dans l'évier. Chambre un peu étroite pour 3 mais ca passait large !

- Joana (8/5): Refuge in the Paul Valley - The breakfast buffet was really nice and offered a variety of local foods, which changed by day. The location is incredible, with an amazing view to Paul valley and a great base for hikers. The host was also very attentive and helpful with giving us suggestions and getting us a cab. The room wasn't super well isolated from the noise and could get a bit loud sometimes. You can expect to find some bugs, but that's due to the surrounding vegetation.

La piscine n'était pas en.service alors que c etait le point important de notre réservation. Prix dont élevés au regard du besoin aucune ristourne. Une grosse araignée dans la.chambre au mur. Du coup on a resseré les lits,... un berger se serait perdu avec les moutons.!!! Cher pour ce que c'était. Un matelas dur comme du béton mon fils n'a pas bien dormi.
- Slawina (9/5): Peaceful Stay in Vale do Paúl - We loved the location on a narrow street surrounded by the lush greenery of Vale do Paúl. The hotel it a great base for exploring the area. From here, you can enjoy a pleasant walk to Paul (Pombas) or easily start the trail leading up to the Cova crater. Other attractions on the island can also be reached by collective bus or taxi, which makes getting around quite convenient. The owner is very nice and helpful and clearly enjoys welcoming guests, which created a warm and friendly atmosphere during our stay. The only downside for us was the breakfast, which was rather basic and repetitive (unless you are a big fan of catchupa or couscous :D)
- Karolina (7/5): Beautiful Valley, hotel okish but could be better for the price - The location was great—a perfect base for trekking—and a bit off the beaten path, which added to its authentic feel. I wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere other than Paul. The property itself was decent, but considering what it offers, it felt quite expensive for Santo Antão. It wasn’t very clean—they could definitely do better. The place feels quite outdated, with curtains half hanging and half loose. On the ground floor there were small bugs, which wasn’t pleasant. The breakfast was quite poor, though it might be acceptable by local standards—I’m not sure.

Era nuestro viaje de luna de miel y el propietario, que la verdad es que se portó muy bien estando alli, nos dejó en la habitacion una botella de cava 4 frutas y un trozo de chocolate. Creíamos que era un regalo pero al día siguiente nos entró un mensaje de booking diciendo que el pack romantico eran 50€. Nos parecio fatal la forma de hacerlo, de saber el precio no lo habriamos pedido ya que no bebemos cava! Pero por el resto el jefe muy amable y colaborador... lastima de ese detalle.

Locatie is goede uitvalsbasis voor een hike in Paul of een ander gebied in de buurt. Heel rustig in de avond en nacht, je hoort alleen de natuur! Ik raad de locatie zeker aan voor 1 a 2 nachten. Waterdruk is licht (er is wel warm water!). Kan soms gehorig zijn op de gang door de andere gasten. Er mogen meer haakjes in de kamer om je spullen op te halen

Exiguité de la SDB qui n'est pas très équipée , la chambre n'était pas très grande, mais le lit XXL d'excellente qualité.

Een kleine supermarkt zit ernaast en een lekker restaurant tegenover. Daarnaast natuurlijk een perfecte plek om vanuit te wandelen. De doucheslang was geloof ik een beetje lek, waardoor de druk niet zo hoog was.

Vous pouvez vous y rendre depuis Porto Novo sans voiture en prenant un mini bus à la sortie haute du bâtiment portuaire en empruntant l'escalator. C'est 4euro par personne. Si vous le voulez pour vous tout seul il vous en coûtera autour de 40 euro. Puis localement vous avez toujours des mini bus qui passent à vous de négocier en fonction de votre destination Ribeira Grande Punta del Col le Covo....Il yn avait une petite piscine mais un peu froide en cette saison. Le petit déjeuner n'avait aucun charme on s'attendait à beaucoup mieux au vu de certains commentaires. Le soir pour diner il y a un restaurant en face. Bon mais en moyenne 60 à 90 minutes d'attente pour 4 personnes même si vous êtes les seuls clients... Sinon aller à Paul mais faire bien attention à l'heure pour être sur d'avoir un mini bus pour rentrer sinon 2,5 km.

- Raquel (9/5): Bonito y tranquilo - Un lugar muy bonito y muy tranquilo. Tiene una pequeña piscina perfecta para relajarse en la tarde después de una caminata. Los dueños de la casa siempre muy atentos y dispuestos a ayudar. Un poco apartada de núcleo urbano pero no ha sido difícil conseguir trasporte colectivo.

El desayuno está muy bien y un zumo de papaya y plátano para llorar: qué rico !!! Las habitaciones cómodas. Y si vas en verano disfrutar de la piscina tiene que estar genial. Te permiten pagar en tarjeta que se agradece en Cabo Verde. Demasiada humedad, pero yo creo que por la lluvia que hubo esos días. Almohadas un poco incómodas.

- Mauro (10/5): Highlight of my Cape Verde Trip - I absolutely loved staying at Residencial Lela d’Fermina and next time I’m back in Santo Antão this is the place I’ll stay at, no doubt. The owner, Mr Antonio, is a gem of a person, and the whole staff was really nice and kind. The room was spacious and had everything I needed — I’d probably just add a kettle. The restaurant across the road was also such a lovely experience, the view is amazing, the owner is so kind, and the food is delicious and so cheap. After the craziness of Mindelo I really appreciated the opportunity to rest at this peaceful place, surrounded by mountains, and chilling by the pool. Antonio is really knowledgeable about the surrounding area and he made sure I was taken care of the entirety of my stay. Muito obrigado, Sr António! Tornou a minha viagem memorável, nunca o vou esquecer 🙏

- Christoph (9/5): - Der nette Empfang durch den Gastgeber. Der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge. Grundsätzlich war alles wie vorher in den Beschreibungen gelesen. Das Frühstück startet erst um 8, was für längere Wanderung schon fast etwas später ist. Die Zimmer waren etwas hellhörig, was aber in der Natur uns nicht gestört hat.

Le personnel est très sympathique, et la terrasse permet de partager un bon petit-déjeuner et un apéro avec d’autres résidents! Nombreux petits commerces autour et accès facile par Alguger! Probablement du fait de l’emplacement de la chambre au rez de jardin côté piscine, mais propreté qui laisse à désirer (invasion de fourmis, petit scolopendre, araignées…). La literie est toutefois propre. Chambre sans goût (lampe de chevet HS, douche vétuste). Visiblement, les autres chambres ne souffraient pas du même problème!

The breakfast was also nice (including vegan options) next to beautiful flowers and a pool and the view from the restaurant nearby is pure magic. The breakfast is also very nice. Thanks a lot for everything. I will come back in case i visit Paul again ❤️

- DERNIS (10/5): - Très bon séjours, personnels sympa , piscine agréable. Petit bémol, la porte de la salle de bain ne se ferme pas , support savon dans la douche
- Mandy (6/5): - Wir fanden die Betten bzw. Matratzen sehr gut. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist zwar sauber, aber sehr einfach und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das gilt auch für die Bäder. Leider war es über das Buchungssystem nicht möglich, das Familienzimmer, das für 4 Personen ausgelegt ist, für uns als Familie mit zwei größeren Kindern (12 und 16 Jahre) zu buchen, obwohl es für uns völlig ausreichend gewesen wäre. Wir mussten ein zusätzliches DZ dazu buchen.
- jean baptiste (10/5): Inoubliable - Toni et toute son équipe ont tout fait pour que notre séjour soit parfait ( choix de randonnées, restaurants…). Un grand grand merci!
- Amandine (5/5): Mauvais rapport qualité prix - Piscine et accueil . Propreté . Chambre minuscule, 4 lits pas plus , Cher pour ce que c’est , vraiment .
- Philippe (7/5): - Patron présent et sympathique. Vallée verdoyante, nature intacte. Endroit calme et frais la nuit. Sanitaires pas au top.
- Javier (5/5): Decepcionante… - Barato y con encanto. Personal que lo lleva algo extraño. Piscina mal cuidada (turbia y verde), una sola tumbona. No es como en la foto. Habitación ok pero almohadas muy blandas y baño pequeño.
