Soleil (3/5): - Zeer slechte, onprettige en onprofessionele ervaring gehad met dit appartement. Ondanks dat wij weken van te voren hadden aangegeven dat we met 6 personen zouden komen ipv 3 waren ze verrast toen we met 6 personen de sleutels kwamen ophalen. De spullen voor de overige 3 personen (beddengoed en handdoeken) zouden later geleverd worden. Om 5, 9 en 10 uur in de avond contact gehad over de spullen, waarbij telkens een nieuwe belofte werd gedaan, kwamen de spullen om 11 uur in de avond. Toen de spullen door een collega werden gebracht escaleerde de situatie. De man dreigde ons uit ons appartement te zetten, omdat hij beveiliger zou zijn en dit daarom kon doen. Even later beweerde hij weer dat hij de eigenaar was. Verder was het onze eigen schuld dat de spullen zo laat werden geleverd, omdat we niet hadden aangekondigd dat we met 6 kwamen. Ook wilde hij onze box innemen, omdat hij deze toevallig zag staan. Hij verliet het appartement met de dreiging dat hij advocaten op ons af zou sturen als we opnamen van de gesprekken online zouden zetten. Uiteindelijk hebben wij de overige handdoeken en slaapspullen niet meer ontvangen. Als 6 dames van begin 20 hebben wij ons zeer onprettig en onveilig gevoeld. Na deze aanvaarding meerdere malen contact proberen op te nemen met de organisatie om deze situatie uit te praten en op te lossen, maar hier werd geen gehoor aangegeven en inmiddels is mijn telefoonnummer geblokkeerd.

Wish there were better pillows for the beds, the ones we had were too low and too soft for the hardness of the beds.

Marjon (6/5): Een teleurstellend verblijf door gebrekkig onderhoud en weinig comfort. Niet voor herhaling voor ons. - De ligging van het appartement was erg goed en centraal. Het appartement was helaas niet goed onderhouden. Het was niet helemaal schoon; de gordijnen waren vies en sloten niet goed. Vloerdelen stonden open en de centrale voordeur ging niet op slot. Er werd aangegeven dat dit gerepareerd zou worden, maar dit is tijdens ons verblijf niet gebeurd. De inrichting was erg sober, het bed was hard en het uitzicht onaantrekkelijk en gesloten. Met beter onderhoud, aandacht voor schoonmaak en een warmere inrichting kan dit appartement duidelijk verbeteren. Je moet de sleutel ophalen op hun kantoor, wat nog 20 minuten lopen is vanaf het appartement.

Julia (8/5): Super fijn appartement in een geweldige rustige buurt! Heerlijke bedden, grote ruimte, keuken en douche. Wel jammer dat - Het was lekker ruim, heerlijke bedden en douche en een fijne keuken en tafel! Op de foto’s stond wel een ander appartement, met een verdieping omhoog dus dat was wel even anders en het was jammer dat het balkon niet open kon.

Nika22 (7/5): - We were three and the space in the apartment was more than enough for all of us. The bathroom lights were bright, ideal for makeup routines. At the arrival in the apartment the temperature on the thermostat was of 19,5 C, which is truly cold, especially when it is cold outside too. I have tried to put it on a higher temperature but it took more than a day for the room to warm up, which was truly unfortunate for a two night stay
Elizabeth (1/5): FILTHY BEDS AND BROKEN FURNITURE - DON'T BOTHER STAYING HERE. - We had a terrible experience with this property!! We had to wait to pick up the keys from a seperate location (with a queue of 5-10 other groups). The staff there were friendly, but upon arriving to the accomodation the front door had garbage and dirty laundry in bags piled up outside. We then entered the property to find the sofa was broken (also acted as a bed so note that if you need extra sleeping spaces) and the worst part was the overall cleanliness of the property. The beds were FILTHY, they weren't made when we entered, so we got to see the bare matresses that were covered in large stains. To be honest it looked like multiple people had wet the bed.. Plus there wasn't even enough linens for the beds, they had piled up a pillow and duvet for each double bed, with no extras in sight, no bottom sheet or mattress protector. The rest of the apartment was covered in makeup smudges on the walls and the rear courtyard door doesn't have a handle, so we couldn't even access outside or get any fresh air into the property. We ended up booking a hotel instead, and only stayed at the property for about an hour while we found an alternative. In the process of getting a refund, but the property management has declined this.. so onto Booking.com to help us rectify the situation. Overall, please don't waste your time or money on this place!

Monique (8/5): - Hele goede locatie, alles in het centrum zit op loopafstand. Groot appartement met grote slaapkamer en fijne keuken. Er hing een vieze zwavellucht in de badkamer bij de douche die maar niet weg trok. Het ophalen van de sleutel was inderdaad best ver weg (20 minuten lopen) en in de keuken miste een aantal spullen (schaar, scherp mes).

Iris (5/5): Prima voor een kort verblijf - De locatie was heel erg fijn. Wel ver van het ophalen van de sleutels af, maar dit was vantevoren gecommuniceerd. Het appartement was niet schoon. De wc stonk, er hingen veel spinnenwebben en er waren op meerdere plekken vieze vlekken te zien. Toen we savonds wilden gaan slapen en vieze vlekken in het beddengoed zagen, konden we gelukkig wisselen van bed. Het leek op beginnende schimmel. Het water in de douche liep bij een korte douche al snel op de vloer in de badkamer; waardoor we 2 dagen een drijfnatte douchemat hadden. Voor 2 nachten kregen we 2 mini handdoeken voor 2 personen. We hebben extra gevraagd bij de host, dit hebben ze netjes gedaan door deze aan de deur te hangen.

DAVID OLSON (7/5): Smell of the swer - Location and large space. When we walked in the apartman, we were wellcomed with the smell of the sewer. When we closed the door to the shower (shower and WC in different placess) and cracked opened the window only ventilation in the bedroom, we could breeth. But when we opened the shower door in the morning the accumulated swer gas made my wife vomit. Too bad, they dont fix that. Otherwise it was a decent place. Ps. Cracked flooring shows structural problems.
Roos (1/5): Horrible experience - The property didn’t provide enough beds!! We paid for 9 but were provides with 8 beds and bedding for 6. More bedding was provided when we called but they didn’t provide another bed so one person had to sleep on the floor, ab-so-lutely unacceptable and horrible experience. We paid for 9 people. Belinda (8/5): Very good - Good location, spacious apartment. No sharp knifes in kitchen, overall cleaning could be improved (nothing a good vacuum wouldn’t fix) and a little more attention to detail. Couldn’t adjust aircon temp and the main door into apartment building gets slammed

The distance between the apartment and the key collection is about a 15-minute walk. There are not enough kitchen utensils (e.g., pans). It needs some maintenance (floor, some windows, and walls).

Luckily the cleaning lady was inside and she opened it. However on our departure day, i don’t know who locked our doors from outside and we were not able to open it. We missed our flixbus because of this and had to pay extra to book another bus which was very expensive. We had to call the handyman of the appartment then he came to open the door for us. The bathroom sink smelled really bad!! 🤮

So you will be losing your apartment and pay for free.

Carlaparis (8/5): it's a good option for a weekend - the pick up of the keys is near the station, easy to reach. The apartment was big for my self alone, clean and equipped as expected. very central, I could visit everything just by walking. the supermarket is around the corner and in the street there are many restaurants and bars. The apartment is very quiet. The curtains in the room are not dark enough so the light comes in and it was very hard to sleep for me. the pillows are very soft so they became flat very quickly. No storage space, no closets, no hangers. in my case it was fine as I was alone so I put all of my clothes on the second bed, but I can imagine this being a limit when traveling with others.

Zuzana (5/5): Great location, but overall experience underwhelming - Amazing location, walking distance to the city centre also to the train station. However, it was noisy during the night. Cleanliness: The bathroom was clean enough. Overall, the floors were not vacuum cleaned/ mopped. You could see hair balls and dust. When preparing the sofa to make it my bed, there were bread crumbs/ dust present in the folds. I don't think the apt was cleaned by a professional cleaning company, as stated in the apt description. Checkin: It was not possible to check in before 2pm. There was no flexibility with storing luggage. We needed to queue up to get the apt key for more than 30 min. The checkin location was more than 30 min walking away from the apt location. Flat: No option to open the balcony door. Thus, it was way too warm. It was not possible to make a draft in summer, it was pretty warm - more than 25 degrees inside in the evening. No AC in flat. There were lots of mosquitos in the apt due to constantly opened windows to have the air moving at least a bit. Also, the noise from the street (shouting party ppl coming home) at night was pretty loud. No shelving/ wardrobes/ drawers. Dishwasher not part of the apt.
Scott (7/5): A pleasant stay but definitely areas to improve on to increase value for money. - It was a clean and well presented apartment with seperate bedroom, very light and modern. Beds were comfy. It was easy enough to find the reception office and they were helpful in explaning how to get into the property with pictures and video instructions. Tourist taxes were settled then. The apartment itself was quite bare, I feel like it lacked basic amenities. There was no hanging space or shelving in the wardrobes. The dishwasher had been disconnected. The weird microwave/oven thing was difficult to work out. The AC was difficult to operate and tha apartment was too warm and stuffy. They had permanently closed off access to the balcony (which is fine because it wasn't advertised) but they should replace with just windows to allow good airflow. The reception desk for the property is quite far away from the actual accomodation. At least a 20 minute walk. This means you either have to get another taxi or walk with all of our bags trying to navigate the streets of Antwerp at the same time. This would be far from ideal if it was a lte check in. A lock box would be helpful.

The noise from outside can be heard easily while sleeping. The place can do with air conditioning in summer. I don’t mind if they charge additional fees for that as well. In summer it is ridiculously hot inside. And also the noise from outside can be heard in the room. Hence, it is tough to sleep well at night. The beds are very uncomfortable. They should invest in getting the basics right. For example, they can equip their place with air conditioning, comfortable beds and mattress and install sound proof windows. They have all these instructions saying that there shouldn’t be noise from the guests. It’s hypocrisy because the noise from the outside that can be heard from inside is terrible.

Yalena (8/5): Very good - Very clean and spacious. Apartment within walking distance of my friend's place which suited me perfectly. The price was reasonable. The staff was very helpful and pleasant in demeanour. Extremely well equipped for people who may be staying for a long time. The difference between weekend and weekday rates seemed senseless to me, but perhaps this is just how it is in Antwerp. The door for the apartment is tricky, it was by miracle each time that I was able to open the door

Staff refused to give the keys at check-in because they wanted to have the fee for additional two persons in cash, no possibility to pay by any card at check-in. While the additional persons were booked 3 days before arrival. Double beds were way too small and not comfortable at all
Sulakshana (8/5): A studio with Beautiful Interiors tucked away In a quiet street, yet accessible to the hub - The location is a bit far from the station, a 22 min walk. Otherwise it is easy to walk to the main square and shopping areas I didn’t check that the building didn’t have an elevator, and I wasn’t travelling light. That part was a struggle, the spiral staircase is exactly the width of a suitcase so it’s a tight fit. The main door lock was not smooth, I had to try multiple times to get it open.

Abigail (8/5): Great location, brand new apartment - The location really is perfect, spacious apartment - we were 2 people but it could comfortably fit 4. Within walking distance to almost all attractions, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Apartment is brand new which was really nice. I would definitely recommend for a first time stay in Antwerp. No flexibility with check in or check out, but they do communicate this when booking.
