- Duy (9/5): Perfect! - This hotel is in such a great spot — just a few steps from the lively beer street, but still super quiet and safe. The location’s perfect, the rooms and beds are spotless and smell really nice. Prices are very reasonable, and you even get free breakfast included. The breakfast is honestly amazing and served with great care. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. I’d absolutely recommend staying here — everything was just perfect!

Nevertheless, no street noise during night time Breakfast was really complete, buffet style - there were boiled eggs, bread, different fruit options, coffee, juice etc... For the price, it was really a treat. Comfortable bed and good shower. Recommend. The street that is located is dirty, watch your feet. Every time someone would enter the room, the unlook of the door would make a huge noise (not only our room in particular, but ALL ROOMS) Our room was literally on top of the reception desk and guests would stand there at 2am talking really loud - rececionists didn't do anything to keep them quie.

- Nafsika (9/5): Best hostel I've been in SE Asia - I'm travelling six months now and this is by far the best hostel I've been in SE Asia. The service is really helpful, having many services like sims, tickets, tours, even visa help. The rooms are nice, very clean and comfortable. Toilets clean and in good locations - in every room. And the breakfast is really good which I appreciate a lot because they give you many choices and good quality. The location is perfect. I loved this place because there are also a lot of other hostels with the same price or even higher and they're not giving you what they give you here. there is no elevator so the rooms in 4th and 5th floor can be a bit tiring with a lot of stuff. And in another room that I stayed the beds are really shaking when someone is walking in the room

- Andromeda (6/5): - The breakfast was very decent and plentiful, nice scrambled eggs with toast, butter, jam, coffee, water, tea, some meats (I didn't try them) and a bit of fruit. The view from the 6th floor of the terrace was pleasant. Besides that, I didn't like anything about this hostel. Felt very claustrophobic and not aired properly. I left as soon as I finished my breakfast. I was put in another hostel as an emergency because there was a flood inside of the premises, so I got walked 3 minutes away to a "sister hostel" and it wasn't nice at all. The tiny dorm for 6 ppl had extremely stinky toilet issues, it smelled of sewage so badly, I couldn't sleep with the stench and woke up with a headache :( The curtains on those tiny single beds are crazy noisy. Every time someone opens them it's like a symphony of loud screeching noise, not ideal for relaxing at all... I'm not sure if the bedding was clean, didn't smell fresh, or perhaps there's SO MUCH condensation and humidity in that small dorm, that the sheets absorb all that smell :( I'm sure they can do much better for the dorms; DON'T CRAM 6 beds, max 4 and PLEASE fix the toilet problem so the whole dorm doesn't stink that bad! 😞

Mi habitación tenía una sala de estar con mesa al medio y al ser 14 personas en la habitación, se hacía cómodo para organizar o colgar las toallas en las sillas. Generalmente uno tiene la cama y ya. Me quedé en dos oportunidades acá, y la segunda, al ver que ya había estado anteriormente, me ofrecieron elegir habitación y cama.

One of the guys from reception walked with me quite a ways and phoned the driver to make sure I didn't lose my ride. They also upgraded my room and breakfast was great. Overall the hostel was good value for money. Just that the location is a bit tricky to find, as the hostel is in a small alley

- Vishal (9/5): Overall I had wonderful experience at this hostel, they serve delicious breakfast. - The best part of the hostel is the free breakfast they serve in the morning. It is just amazing, and I just love the food options they provided: sweets, noodles, eggs, Greek salad, fresh fruits, and bread and butter; everything was extremely tasty. The second part is their dedication to cleanliness; I have seen the staff were meticulous and would change sheets immediately after the traveller vacated the bed. The third thing was that the staff are extremely cooperative; whatever you ask for, they immediately provide it. They are available 24 hours on WhatsApp and phone calls. I must mention that two guys (both were gents; I think one was 'Mr Dhee') were extremely professional and meticulous in dealing with the guests. I stayed there for four to five days; the nearby area has lots of shops, and almost everything is available there round the clock. Also, the hostel is famous and is being visited by foreign travellers from different countries, so it is a good place to meet solo like-minded travellers from around the world. Therefore, I would recommend this hostel for solo travellers. Despite almost everything being perfect about this hostel, there are a few things that need to be improved: 1. Some of the reception staff (I don't know the name of the lady who sits at the reception sometimes) is a bit rude while dealing with the check-in and -out process, and also another lady openly smokes right at the reception counter. Except for these two exceptions, other staff members are good and professional. 2. There should be some place/arrangements to hang the wet clothes (at least during the rainy season). There is no place at all even to place wet napkins/socks; all the windows are completely closed, and it is fine if anyone keeps the wet clothes inside the room (which I found really strange and extremely inconvenient, particularly if anyone is travelling during the rainy seasons). 3. There should be some arrangements or footwear racks to keep shoes 'outside' the room. Apart from this, everything is just perfect about this hostel. They have good WiFi, breakfast, dedicated maintenance staff, attentive reception and everything required for solo travellers.

Didn't want to try the "breakfast included" as it looked so basic and a bit risky. Left my laundry at 2 pm for an express service as I was leaving early the next day. They said it would be ready by 9 pm. Came back in the evening to pick it up, and it appeared that they forgot to do it... definitely wouldn't to stay there for the price you pay.

The only compensation they gave was to call the hospital for me. And call a taxi. But not pay the taxi or hospital. Other things: - left without soap for 30 hours despite requedting - left with no pillows despute requesting them for a while too - i had booked 7 days and they always gave just 1 small toilet paper roll which was never enough for 24hours although they knew i was sick with diarrhea so everyday i had to chase them for more toilet paper. - wifi was poor, cut many times so i switched to data - i booked a private room in a hostel, but it was outsid ethe hosyel, i basically had a room and a cold reception. No common areas. On the last day i learnt from a guest thst the hostel had a terrace, but they never informed me of anything. - i wish they took the initiative to apologise for anything. But instead i had weekly notifications for maybe 6 weeks that they wanted me to leave a review. Here is your review. I booked 100 hostels without a bad review. It's just a bad place.

Staff is reckless and i had to ask several times to get my questions answered. My bed number didn't match neither the key or the lockers, i asked for a lock for the lockers, they gave me a very small lock that couldn't fit in their lockers. I wasted 20minutes trying to find somewhere to buy a lock from and i didn't. And when i got so mad at them they started actually fixing the issue. I'm don't think they really care about the customer's satisfaction.

The included breakfast was alright, served at the hostel next door, had an ok variety. Staff were helpful The property is quite old so could do with some tlc, if this kinda thing bothers you. The bathrooms are within the dorm as with lots of hostels in Vietnam, but they were clean. It is quite close to the main road so noise does come through the windows, if you’re a light sleeper

Very close to where buses come in from Ha Giang and public buses to airport 4 bedroom dorm had poor ventilation and gets very damp and warm if you share with people that don't like air conditioning or vent fan on at night. - Si (10/5): Superb! - Even though the place is a hostel, they have private rooms for those who prefer privacy. Good location, just a couple of minutes to center of the city. Staffs are super nice and really helpful. Rooms are a little bit small but clean. The breakfast is good. The receptionist Fong was really nice and helpful. I would come back again.

- Alex (10/5): Happy Stay - Super comfortable bed, felt safe in a room of 6. Thiet was super helpful on the reception area, the hostel is also in a pretty central part of town. The rooms were cleaned daily also which was important. Would highly recommend this hostel. No lift to the 4th floor, but it kept me fit and healthy 😂
