Ashley (8/5): Amazing Location, but a makeover is well overdue. - We couldn't have asked for a better location for our week away in late January. The view was spectacular with the beach only a 1 minute stroll. The whole apartment needs a face-lift. There are too many things for me to list here, but in a nutshell, the price is reflective mainly due to the location, not the amenities. It is great that there is Wi-Fi as many apartments in the area do not offer it. However, the password we we issued was incorrect and the Real estate agent treated me like a moron even though I was the one that troubleshooted the issue, to fix it! Air Conditioning - We knew there was no AC, fortunately the sea breeze in-conjunction with the ceiling fans, cooled us enough to sleep. However, the chain smokers in the adjacent apartment made relaxing in the living area impossible! (unless you are into passive smoking?). I understand this is unpredictable and out of anyone's control, but it certainly put a downer on our stay.
Karen (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location right by the beach. Plenty of space for our family including 3 young children. Apartment was well equipped. We will look to book here again for our next stay in Port Stephens.
