- Veronica (9/5): - my own room & they brought me a clean towel after they said they were all dirty. They washed it. Nobody in reception to deliver my room keys at 7am. Only extra blankets but no heaters available in the cold room noisy young people at night, u hear them close.

- Shelly (9/5): Very Comfortable, clean and friendly - Staff were super friendly and helpful. The place is big quiet and beautiful.
Stayed in a private room with shared bathroom. Had a wonderful stay’ It’s basic
- Rebecca (7/5): Friendly staff - Friendly staff, convenient location for bus to cuyabeno For the price, the facilities are of a lower standard than other places we stayed in quito
- Lars (7/5): Good - Nice beds in spacy rooms, showers and toilets weren't spotless but neither outrageous.
The rooftop terrace is super nice, but sound carries a bit to the rooms.
All the staff I met were absolute sweethearts though! 10/10 for them!
- Musan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mari (4/5): Disappointing - good location as we were travelling to the Amazon, bus picks up right outside. Big room with plenty of space. Door didn't lock externally so we had to keep our valuables in lockers downstairs where we also had to provide our own locks.
Our room was directly under the rooftop area which has constant loud music playing.
- Laura (4/5): Not hitting basic hygiene factors. Could be great. - Location (in the daytime…not good at night but that goes for all of Quito-keep your wits about you when moving around in the evenings/grab an Uber and you’ll be fine).
Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful.
Rooftop was a great space (albeit no one was using it so not much of a vibe) with fair prices. You can tell the hostel are trying to create a fun and social space…it’s just not hitting the mark on some basics which other hostels are and at the same price.
Showers were hot!
Murals throughout the building were beautifully done. The 2 surfaces in the room were dusty. bedding was barely big enough for the bed and had holes in. Mattress and pillows both thin so bed was really uncomfortable. Bedside lamp didn’t work and no shade on the main bedroom light so either darkness or intense brightness. The windows were filthy and didn’t shut properly so when there was a birthday party on the rooftop one night playing loud music until midnight, it was impossible to sleep and after a long day of travelling this was really frustrating.
Hand dryer in the shared bathroom didn’t work.
Room smelled of smoke.
Generally, even though it’s cheap, it’s not up to the standard of other hostels at the same price or less (even on the same road).
It could be great but needs some basic cleaning and maintenance on the rooms.
- Savannah (9/5): Superb - The rooftop restaurant was definitely the highlight for me! It was such a lovely view and the empanadas were delicious. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating :) An on-site tour company gives you good, fair prices for the highlights (Cotopaxi, Quilotoa, Otavalo, etc.) The rooms were clean and fairly spacious. They offer storage lockers outside the rooms but you must provide your own locks. Bathrooms are on par with South American hostel standards. Centrally located as well. There was no elevator which I didn't mind but to inform others who might. There was also no key to your dorm so it was always open unless you locked it at night when everyone was back. I think this is standard across South America but not in Europe. Other than these minor standard things, it was great!
- Kamila (8/5): Very good - If you travel to Amazonia this place is very good where to wait to bus or where to stay after your return for the rest of the night. Nice view from restaurant.
- Aja (8/5): Good hostel - The rooftop restaurant has amazing views, and the welcome drink was fenomenal. The vegetarian/vegan burrito was delicious.
We could store our luggage at the reception, because to locks of the room were sketchy. The common bathroom cleanlines was so so. There were people smoking in the bathroom and local children watching videos infront of the rooms.
- Tiinatiina (6/5): Pleasant - The staff was very helpful but... ....but the rooms were cold and dark.... there was no airconditioner and the bed was not comfortable. Our room looked like abandoned hospital room from pre-war time.
- Dawid (7/5): Good - Localization is great. Luggage storage was safe. Bathrooms need renovation. It was no rooftop bar-renovation-no information before arriving.
At morning was really loud - crying babies, barking dogs and some renovation voices. Sheets had many stains.
- & (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anonymous (3/5): Awful. Spend your money literally anywhere else. Come here only to visit the bar. - Friendly staff, great rooftop bar. Would recommend people stay somewhere else and just visit the bar Awful room with no window covering to the abandoned building next door which had large openings towards the window. Disgusting bathroom. Unclean. Sheets stitched back together that didn’t stay on the falling apart mattress. Street outside was unable to be used by vehicles which meant I had to walk to a different street at 430 in the morning to get an Uber to the airport. Felt very unsafe.
- H. (6/5): Pleasant -
- Luise (7/5): Hostel with rooftop bar and option of dance sessions - Location
Nice rooftop
Service of transportation to mitad del mundo Beds are not very comfortable
Bathrooms are not clean
- Aaron (7/5): Good -
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caoimhe (9/5): Would recommend :) cool spot - Nice rooftop terrace Beds and pillows a little hard
- Alison (7/5): This was a great one night stay before grabbing a shuttle. We woke up too early to enjoy many of the facilities and arri - The location and the friendly staff The instructions were a little unclear and we ended up without towels even though the booking said they were included
- Jacopo (9/5): Superb -
- Ádám (9/5): Superb - The staff is super cool, and helpful!
- Ricardo (10/5): Yugunga Experience Quito - The people, place and the mattress😊 One sudden blockage in toilet..
- Elise (8/5): Very good - Large room and comfy bed Shared bathrooms were not that great
- Zuzanna (9/5): Superb - The only thing that was missing for me was the kitchen, but besides that everything was great
- Carina (6/5): Bad smelling rooms but nice rooftop restaurant - The breakfast was excellent and what the room lacks (see below), the rooftop and restaurant wins. Excellent views from terrace and food is good.
Located in a safe area. Very expensive compared to price. The room wasn’t very clean. We had to ask for towels. No daily cleaning. The room had a really bad smell. There were shown pictures of a terrace and it was simply just a walk way everyone passed.
- Marco (6/5): Huge hostel (like factory) first time a hostel made me pay to park my motorcycle. Decent facilities. - Close to everything, amazing restaurant on the roof. Get some earplugs, lots of noise at night.
- Stewart (8/5): Recommend - Excellent location for our trip to caiman lodge. Very character hostel, great views from balcony restaurant of city. Staff very helpful. Walkable to local historical centre. Breakfast was good. Would recommend. Nothing
- Helene (8/5): Great value for money. - Very good value for money. Exceptional breakfast and very friendly personnel there to help you when needed. Quite hard bed and pillows. A bit noisy but perhaps to be expected since it’s a hostal.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krysia (9/5): Nice hostel with one of the most tasty breakfasts in Quito - Great breakfast at the terrace with the magnificent view of Quito and very helpful personnel There were bit noisy in the evening, probably because young people staying there
- Steinar (7/5): Good - Nice people. Nice food. Ok rooms Not safe walk outside at street. Its much criminality
- Steinar (7/5): Good - The hotell and stuff are nice. Good breakfast place and al. The hotel are in one of quito most dangerous area for get rubbed. Its not safe go out in day and night in meny of streets close to it.
- Chris (8/5): Very good - Lovely staff. We chose the option which included food. This was great value and good quality. They are making a huge effort to meet everyone's need and make their hostel special. Whilst we were there beautiful paintings were going up on the walls and ponchos were put in the bar for communal use. This is great value and I would highly recommend it!
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carlijn (7/5): Cheap and good - Big room with easy chair and small closet, good wifi and helpful staff. Common chilling area and rooftop bar are nice. The location is great: loads of restaurant/cafes near, secret garden hostel/tourist centre opposite of the road and only ten min walk to the Cathedral . The shared bathroom is 'outside', so when its cold outside (March 2023 it was 18 degrees), this is a bit cold, but its not bad, like there is a roof etc haha
- Oliver (6/5): fine for 1 night. -
- Erin (5/5): Okay Stay - Good location & late check in available Bathroom was dirty.
- Benson (7/5): Good -
- Caja (7/5): Good - cheap place! good view from the terrace, good breakfast and nice area. hot water! uncomfy beds and not so clean bathrooms. no key for the dormitory and no lockers inside the room
- Colligan (8/5): Cute place, tranquilo. - I came in at 1:30 am and the staff answered the doorbell immediately, super nice for if you’re alone on the street at night. I arrived on a Saturday and it was quiet. Beds were comfy and the dorm was quiet. Terrace is cute, breakfast was yum snd $2.50 if it’s not included in your booking price. Nada
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Lauren (2/5): Very poor -
- Leoni (9/5): Nice hostel, great terrace, but a bit loud in the night. - Beautiful hostel close to the more famous party hostel on the other side of the street. Lots of places to hang out and a beautiful terrace. Probably much more calm than the party hostel and more cheap. It was still quite loud in the night. The music on the terrace entered in the room and lots of doors going. There was no coffee for breakfast, but I got some infusion instead.
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Great value. Great location. Great view.
- Breanna (4/5): Disappointing -
- Cortney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (9/5): Friendly welcome to Quito - Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Good and reasonably priced restaurant. Pillows were a bit hard.
- Kordell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juliette (8/5): Very good - Well located near the historical center
The staff is very nice
Great view from the rooftop restaurant Bathrooms are quite basic (for example there’s nowhere to put your stuff while you shower) and not always clean
In general, all the facilities (rooms, shared kitchen) are pretty outdated
- Stephanie (6/5): basic, but comfortable enough accommodations - we stayed here one night and it served its purpose (being a bed to sleep in and clean bathroom to use). it was very quiet at night and breakfast was good in the morning. the accommodations are very basic - I think calling it a “boutique” hostel is a stretch. wish they had a filtered water station for guests.
- Darryl (8/5): Very good -
- Clio (8/5): Very good -
- Susanna (7/5): Good - Its a nice hostel located in a nice tranquil street with few bars & restaurants, 10 min walk away from the centre. The receptionists were all nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable with night lamps next to each bed. Extra blankets were available at the reception. Hot shower and a big roof terrace. The kitchen is like non existent and dirty! The place is not kept clean enough. I was there for 2 nights and the bathrooms were not cleaned meanwhile.
