• Judith (8/5): Excellent base, helpful staff, quality apartment - Facilities and amenities were great and the quality of the apartment and its furnishings excellent Location - rather remote with building site next door, but we were already aware of that before we came and we’re only using it as a base for the Solheim Cup golf. Ubers were excellent and easy to get at reasonable prices but no shops or supermarkets within walking distance
• Debbie (10/5): Fabulous. Quality family time helped by the backdrop of a fabulous penthouse - Wow!! The Golden Oasis Penthouse is just as you see in the photographs. Modern, clean, fun, spacious. From a family to a couple or friends staying it works. The bedrooms were all fab & have comfy beds & pillows (always a must). The showers were powerful & so nice for the main bathroom to have two wash basins. The living area worked & very happy to see a coffee machine (it’s the little things). Comfy sofa & massive TV (husband happy so he could watch the football). The outside was just as great with so many areas to chill & relax both first thing in the morning to last thing at night. And location - great. Yes you need a car but I would suggest you do anyway. But 5 mins from the supermarkets. Perfectly situated to get to Estepona, San Pedro, Porta Banus & even further to the main shopping centre. This was luxury on a very good scale but still at a reasonable price And just to say the owner realised it was a very special birthday for me whilst out there & she sent flowers - that was so thoughtful & a true reflection on her & very touching. One other point was that all the points of contact were excellent. You are sent detailed videos on how everything works - genius. Kris who meets you at the door was a delight & very helpful. Once again the quality of service reflects the quality of the penthouse I start by saying these two points are out of the hands of the owner & no reflection on her or the penthouse. There is a lot of building work going on in Spain & there is a new development being built right next door the complex. I will admit I was upset at first & the first morning I did feel bothered by the work & noise but in all honesty by the end it wasn’t an issue at all. Yes if you are a light sleeper you maybe woken up but in all honesty having first thought it would ruin the holiday it had very little impact at all (& my 21 & 17 year old daughters weren’t affected by it all & they have little to no tolerance!!) The other issue is sun beds. At the height of summer & with lots of families there aren’t enough sun beds & it’s not clearly understood the rules so beware. However again by our 2nd week this became less of an issue & we ventured to the beach a few times
• Hayden (9/5): All was excellent! - Christoff was great and the property ideal for a family getaway! It could have been clearer on booking.com that a deposit was needed to be transferred separately and that other documents (e.g. passports / contract) were needed to be completed direct with the property. However, this was the fault of booking.com not the property.
• Tdmcr (1/5): Hazardous construction noise next door from 08.30am till 18.00. - Interior design is beautiful, attention to detail, spaciousness. I booked this apartment because of its terrace, to have my morning coffee on the terrace, to lie down on a sun bed, to read my book on terrace sofa. Terrace was the reason why I booked it. The location - in the middle of nowhere, nothing within walking distance. But I was okay with the location as long as I could enjoy the terrace. Unfortunately it was not possible during my stay. It was not possible to sit on the terrace for longer than 5min due to the level of noise generated by construction site next door. The level of noise next door was hazardous, excessive and illegal. It started at 8.30am when was still dark outside and went on till 6pm. Constant hazardous noise for 10h a day. The noise was so excessive I got really bad headache and I was worried about loosing my hearing. I complained to the owner, Booking.com got involved and I moved to alternative accommodation after 1 day. The host informed me in one of her messages about ”some” construction noise next door from 9am to - 3pm. It was a lie, and I kept that message as a proof. There is a constant unbearable excessive noise for 10 hours a day. I can’t believe that host decided to still advertise this property as a relaxing holiday apartment being well aware of the situation. I feel misled and deceived. This apartment will be great one day - but ONLY when the construction next door is finished.
• Danielle (8/5): Fantastic - The apartment was absolutely fantastic, spotlessly clean, facilities were exceptional, the rooftop area is a sun trap and perfect if you want to chill and just relax in the sunshine. The pool area is great and the hosts were very easy to deal with and couldn’t help enough The area is definitely up and coming however at the moment there is quite a walk to get to any bars, shops, beaches etc so might be worth hiring a car if you wanted to do some exploring, we used Uber a lot which was very easy to use
• Samantha (10/5): Golden Oasis Penthouse, perfect for a family or group of 6 ladies relaxing in style. - The Golden Oasis Penthouse is a beautiful, luxury property that's spacious, with a modern interior design and everything you need. My 5 girlfriends and I were very comfortable and most importantly, extremely safe, with on site security and very helpful concierge arranging taxi's. A lovely outdoor pool area and indoor gym/pool too. All outdoor areas/lifts/gardens/Penthouse were spotless,modern and very well maintained. Super outside dining area with a spiral staircase to a large rooftop lounge/chill/sunbathing private area with luxurious outdoor furniture. Excellant communication from Sonia, at Marbella luxury homes during booking and vacating. Kris was our on site greeter and ensured all was well with the Penthouse and local information for beaches/restaurants and welcome bottle of fizz was a lovely start to our long awaited ladies get together after Covid restrictions. We would highly recommend a stay and thank you to Hamna, for your exceptional home. Be aware, it is a taxi ride to Estepona town, probably too far to walk. My guests and I knew of this and liked the tranquillity of the area, concierge arranged our taxi's . So no problem. . .
