Guest Reviews
- Italia (10/5): Fabulous location , very spacious apartment and owner was so accommodating and helpful - Everything was so close , 5 min walk to ponte vecchio and Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Uffizi and all major sites
Plenty of shopping and restaurants around
Could not beat this location
Accomodation is large enough for a family and well equipped
Just fantastic!!
Appartement spacieux.
- Liermann (10/5): -
- Amato (10/5): Soggiorno piacevole - Disponibilità della titolare. Sono soddisfatto di tutto
- Keen Travelers 88 (10/5): - Quiet n host replied me quickly. Thx Lina

Signora Lina sempre raggiungibile e disponibile. A noi è proprio piaciuto.
- Lynn (10/5): A lovely apartment and host close to all Florence has to offer! - The apartment was perfect for my week in Florence—a home away from home. The location was central to all the attractions and also quieter, local life with markets and restaurants not just filled with tourists. I appreciated having the elevator and a well equipped kitchen, and the space is lovely. Lina was an amazing help with all my questions and offered great recommendations. She even booked me a taxi for my departure! I’d love to stay again.

- Rapo (10/5): -
- Joanne (10/5): This apartment exceeded our expectations we will definitely be back. Lina was a great host helpful a - The apartment is very spacious and close to everything. The kitchen facilities were great and even a washing machine The bed was comfortable Not applicable as we were very happy
- Lourdes Santos (10/5): - A localização é perfeita! Podendo fazer muitos passeios a pé.
- Virpi (5/5): Ponte Vecchio - Location was perfect Noisy building work outside the bedroom windows.
The shower and toilet are not working properly.
Water leak on the wall at the entrance.
- Elias (9/5): -
- Heike (10/5): -
- Marina (8/5): Excellent location, very clean and comfortable, spacious and accommodating. - Excellent location, very comfortable and spacious with two bedrooms, large living room and kitchen. Very clean and comfortable, ideal for families but also couples or friend groups. Very close to all the museums, especially Uffizzi Gallery, but also very quiet. Super market was almost next door which was very convenient. The shower head needs changing as the water pressure is very low. There is no air conditioning, just air fans. It was absolutely fine for us because it wasn’t hot in Florence when we visited, but could have been a problem for visitors who are not accustomed to heat if going during a heat wave.
- SILVANA (7/5): Buono.
- Shona (10/5): An amazing visit to Florence. Too short and we hope to visit again and stay longer in this apartment. - Excellent location close to everything but was tucked away. The apartment was incredibly clean, tidy and had everything we needed.
- Vivian (9/5): Location was amazing and communication was great - Location and late check in option Wish there was ac during summer days but there were lots of fans
- Matthew (9/5): Would love to come back - The location was perfect, communication with the owners was easy. The kitchen was very cute. Can be warm in hot weather
- Alejandro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional - Centrally located. Very spacious and comfortable.
- Leopold (10/5): Great roomy apartment in a good location near Ponte Vecchio, would highly recommend! - Really roomy apartment, lots of space with a big kitchen, big main bedroom, good sized bathroom and second bedroom (with two beds) plus a massive living room/dining room. Nice high ceilings and very comfortable stay. The location right next to Ponte Vecchio is great, the street the apartment joins that goes onto ponte Vecchio is really bustling, with bars, trattorias, cute little shops and café’s - but the apartment is up a side street so is quiet and peaceful. Lina was also a lovely host, and there are lots of travel guides plus an information pack from the host on good cafés and restaurants in the area to try out. Lina was a lovely and super helpful host. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend.
- Kathryn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (9/5): Excellent location - Excellent location, large rooms, good kitchen, though, being tea drinkers, we would have preferred a larger kettle. Occasionally noisy at night, but mostly quiet. Secluded, but near supermarket, cafes and excellent trattoria. The host gave details of recommended restaurants which was very helpful. We were able to walk to all the major tourist attractions. We would definitely visit again.
- Autumn (9/5): Location is fantastic, can be noisy at night, due to Motos. - The place has an exceptional location, right around the corner of ponte vecchio and the excellent gelatieria "La Strega"!!
Up a small hill. Elevator was a plus! Beds comfortable and roomy.
Keys were not too difficult to find, we have had much more complicated "key advetures" before.
Had most everything we needed, but had to buy some sugar for my coffee addiction. Quite noisy at night, moto alley. However, we had sound machines, so slept fine.
At the time of our stay, there was an awful smell, especially emminating from the living room. Seemed like something had died in the walls and was rotting. Unfortunately, the hosts didn't do much about this other than to say to open all window. It was in the 40s, so not really practica for long, nor did it work. We just kept the living room closed and it helped.
Obviously, no and intentional issue they could help, as things do crawl in walls and expire. Hopefully the smell has passed for the next people.
- Jessica (6/5): Pleasant - Great location and plenty of space. The sofas needed a good clean and this would make the living space more welcoming.
- Rebecca (10/5): Perfect plce to stay in Florence. - Stunning and spacious heritage apartment in a quiet neighbour. Very Florentine. Just 3 mins walk to Vecchio bridge. Walking distance to major attractions. An inside clothes drying rack would be handy.
- Alan (8/5): Great location to the iconic Ponte Vecchio Brifdge -
- Carly (10/5): Excellent location and lots of room. - We loved the location, was very close to the ponte vecchio bridge, the Uffizi, Duomo, and Giardino Di bobola. A nice layout and great lounge room. Kitchen reasonably equipped. Was a great space and we enjoyed it. Our host gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Weird setup with the bidet on a right angle and very close to the toilet. No air conditioning - this was clear at booking but did make it uncomfortable for sleeping as very hot. There was a portable fan but in the twin room it was a long way from the bed (due to PowerPoint) and ineffective. I didn’t sleep well 😟
- Richard (10/5): Clean, quiet, convenient location. would stay again. - Great location just steps from all the activity but quiet for good night sleep. No airconditioning only fans.
- Yu (7/5): Good - the location the house is old and there is no air condition,it's so hot that children can't sleep.
- Abi (8/5): Very good - Spacious, clean, central
- Nigel (9/5): appart from that great, all faciliies nearby - finding the entry keybox
- Azza (9/5): Beautiful - The location was really central Drainage of the shower
- Niamh (7/5): Location is great and the apartment is a good size, but the bathroom could do with a renovation - The lock box was attached to the bars on a window at floor level around the corner. Odd but fairly safe I guess The bathroom is very old fashioned. Bidet in front of the toilet at a 90 degree angle?? Shower very old, although it did work
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartment with a washing machine. Really close to town The locks were a bit sticky and hard to open
- Herlinawati (10/5): Excellent Location, Helpful Hosts !! - Location was excellent! !l! Practically at the famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge, yet the apartment building is on a quiet alley. Central yet peaceful. Supermarket, shops, food places within 100 footsteps. Uffizi museum around 300 m, Duomo around 800m, Piti Palace 200m. Host is very responsive and helpful with questions regarding parking places nearby that are reasonable rates. The property is within restricted vehicle entry zone. Entry to the building is a little tricky, you need to read the key lockbox location instruction carefully. I read it but still I had to call the host for clarity be sure I could not locate the key lockbox, and it was rather late at night when I arrived. Fortunately the host was available to answer my call. I would suggest that a simple drawing of the layout of the building entrance and lockbox be added in the checkin instruction. It would be very helpful. On a positive note, it was like solving a puzzle, so my kids had fun finding the lockbox 😊.
The reason why I did not rate the cleanliness as 10 is because the water in the shower stall started to pool up when the first person in our group took a shower. We opened up the drain filter and found a pile of hair. So it was already there before we checked in. There was a note in the bathroom that reminds guests to avoid letting hair into the shower drainage. Other than this issue everything else was well cleaned.
The room sizes were spacious enough for luggages. The building looked fresh. The lift was working. All the furnishing were in good condition. Bathroom and shower amenities were provided sufficiently. The bathroom was a good size, not cramped. The sofa looked clean and comfortable. There are many guide books on Florence. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my friends. The shower stall cloaks up rather easily when there is too many hairs that went on the drainage. So you have to make sure that you remove your falling hair from your fingers when shampooing and put it aside. But it’s no big deal.
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Bergeron (9/5): Wonderful stay while in Florence! Would definitely recommend. - Loved the location of the property. Very nice and spacious. The only downfall was the shower did not drain well so water would pool up over your feet.
- Gary (8/5): Overall experience is very good close to the center and access to all - Overall the one night stay is good
- Bassel (2/5): Very poor - LOCATION. The children were very cold, the heating almost turned off.
A lot of noise in the area, also the windows are very old, it seems like sleeping in the street especially when a motorbike passes.
The wifi does not reach the bedrooms.
Furniture very poor, in this entire apartment there is only a small mirror in the bathroom.
The beds very uncomfortable
The parking in the area is very expensive.
With what we had paid at that time we could have stayed in a hotel a little outside the center but at least we were comfortable, We decided to take it because of the location but in the end if you are here for tourism in the apartment you are only there at night to sleep and all day you are out wandering around the city and eating out.
- Andrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lizzette (8/5): Very good -
- Mihaela (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Great location, spacious apartment - Great location, great furnishings. It had everything we needed during our short stay, including a washing machine. Church bells are a little loud, but that's everywhere in Florence!
- J (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hosts very helpful (especially re storing luggage on the first day). - Spacious and airy and clean. Hand and bath towels provided and plenty of shower gel/toiletries etc. Very close to ponte vecchio (2-3 minutes walk) and plenty of local restaurants and good supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Quiet area. We arrived by taxi, but might have been difficult to find especially in the dark. Would be good if hosts could provide a detailed map beforehand of how to get to the property, as not easily accessible by car and there are a number of intersecting pedestrian walkways and easy to get confused.
We like drinking tea, so would be good to have a couple of larger cups (ie: mugs) in the kitchen rather than having to make 2 small cups.
Light flickering in the lounge (no main ceiling light, only floor lamps) so a bit dark for reading.
Booking.com apply a cleaning charge, so not sure why you are expected to take out your own rubbish on departure.
Some confusion on departure regarding payment of local taxes. Booking.com need to make it clear if we have or have not paid this beforehand. Our confirmation from Booking.com said the price included local taxes, but our hosts said we had not paid local taxes and should have left the money with them before departure. When we checked payments to booking.com, it appeared that we had not paid an amount including local taxes, so we had to quickly transfer additional funds on departure at the airport. Booking.com - please make it clearer what you are charging for.
- Frank (8/5): Great Location, Reasonable Choice - (1) Location, (2) Size of Unit (1) Advertised with "private parking" which implies parking is included but beware parking is not included, (2) Bath towels were small and a minimum quantity. You might need to take towels, (3) No Nespresso machine like the other 31 places we have rented, (3) Printed instructions on the table but only in Italian (no English, German, French print) so unless if you are not Italian
- Marina (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Quaint, Quiet, Close and Clean! - The apartment was great, spacious and in an amazing location that was a short walk to everything but also in a quieter area. Lots of space for a family, easy if you want to cook or prefer to eat out, lots to choose from. No complaints from my side!
- Anil (8/5): Very good -
- Iva (9/5): Sense of real Florence lifestyle. - Great location, lot of space. Ideal for 3 persons to have their own room
- Thomas (7/5): Great location, clean and secure - Great location, the apartment is in a very secure building . Lots of room in the appt. which is very clean. We found the double bed was uncomfortable but fortunately the 2 other singles were fine. Also figuring out the lockbox was a bit of a challenge (hadn't used one before). The shower water was slow to run away - not unusual in Italy
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and big apartment, a few minutes from Ponte Vecchio in a lively neighborhood. The instructions for getting the keys are super detailed, fool proof, very easy, don't get discouraged by some old reviews :)I can't recommend it enough, everything was perfect!
- Erion (8/5): Good place to stay for the amount of money paid. - Location was great.
- Yousra (7/5): Good - Location is amazing in the city center , the Appartement was clean and Lina was supportive, she texted us once the Appartement was ready to do early checkin. The shower should be changed, it is a jacuzzi shower but not really working properly. it should be changed to normal shower and as there is no AC , it can be very hot during the summer.
- Keith (8/5): Very good - Perfect location in the city centre and all sites within a walkable distance. The apartment has an added bonus of being on the quieter side of the river. Super market nearby.
- Aferdita (7/5): Good -
- Philip (8/5): Good location. - Excellent location. Roomy property. The mosquito nets are broken, and in one case missing. The provision of cutlery, plates, etc is very limited -- which limits ones ability to self-cater.
- Hosetech (8/5): Very airy and comfortable it felt like a home from home! - The apartment was ideally located for easy walking to all the main sights in Florence and yet was an ideal refuge from the crowds and noise of a busy city. The apartment did not have any air conditioning and one could image nights could become uncomfortable in the height of summer. The apartment kitchen could have been provided with some more cutlery and cups and saucers.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (10/5): Convenient location and big! - A very clean and spacious apartment near the Ponte Vecchio but not noisy at all. We'll stocked kitchen and bathroom so we were well provided for with essentials. There were markets and restaurants nearby and we walked to the train station for a day trip and to museums so it was in a good location. We were there during Italy's Independence Days and the crowds were crazy and the apartment was a quiet and relaxing refuge. Also it said no wifi, but Lina provided wifi information to log on and it was appreciated. I would stay here again. The apartment is located on a hill and not all taxis dropped us at our door so we had to climb steps. Also finding the lockbox for the key was not well instructed, especially after a long day of travel.
- Maria (10/5): Perfect in every way. close to amsolutely everything but tucked away and quiet. - Location perfect, clean, comfortable and ample space.
- Williams (10/5): very comfortable and excellent value for a beautiful stay in Florence! - very good communication with the owner which is so important when you are traveling. the location is right in the middle of the city so you can walk to get morning coffee. nice kitchen and living areas. lots of storage for clothing. the streets of Florence are busy so expect some noise at times. wear earplugs at night or use a sound machine if sensitive. it’s not a busy street but it’s a city not a suburb. internet is difficult, the walls are thick.
- Williams (8/5): very nice place and great value - property is in perfect location. the owner messages back promptly. bed is comfortable. very spacious. clean. the weather was nice but we did use heat and it was comfortable. grocery store very close. no wi-fi connection and I had work so I cut stay a bit short, read comments on noise but I wear earplugs so I didn’t notice. hard to find key even with instructions. the door was tough to open you have to work it. we never got stove to work.
- Dalia (8/5): Good once in apartment - Apartment is beautiful Getting keys was poorly explained and a nightmare
- Adam (7/5): Brilliant value for money - Brilliant location, walking a distance to all of the major sites in Florence. Near lots of bars and restaurants. The apartment is also huge. Would be a 10/10 stay if there was Wi-Fi, as the phone signal is really poor in the building so you can barely communicate.
I think it is an issue for the whole building.
- Daphne (9/5): Great Location Room best for family - great location, clean and big rooms bad internet connection
- Heidi (9/5): Superb - Very big apartment, excellent neighbourhood. No wifi
- Steve (7/5): Great location for sightseeing, good value for money, supermarket near by, a few things not working - Great Location for sightseeing, good sized apartment, plenty of room, lift to take you to the 2nd floor, blackout shutters in the two bedrooms, supermarket just around the corner, clean and tidy, spare blankets provided. Wasn't sent the access code to get the keys into apartment, had to ask but then received it. The WIFI, kettle and hair dryer didn't work.
- Mohammad (9/5): Superb -
- Giovanni (6/5): Pleasant - The location, just 2 minute from Ponte vecchio.
The apartment is large with a beautiful wood floor, has a good kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The host was helpful The staying and sleeping were badly affected by the continue noise coming from the roads, night and day. The old windows couldn't stop the noise, so earplugs are needed. No air-conditioning, just couple of cheap fan.
As written on booking there's not a WiFi , but the worst is the lack of cellular signal in the whole apartment, that make almost impossible to use internet. This is definitely not fault of the owner but he could provide a cabled internet line.
- Audrey (3/5): The problems we experienced would be easy fixes for host, except no AC made summer stay miserable. - Location was great; condo was spacious & clean; kitchen a bit small but functional; appreciated washing machine. UNBEARABLY HOT (we stayed 6 nights end of June), really needs AC for summer stays; no cable TV, wi-fi didn't work till we called and had to reset; loose shower pipe sprays water in face; need more than 1 towel per person; not enough toilet paper--only 2 rolls for 4 people for 6 nights--this is not something we should have to buy.
- Neha (9/5): Superb -
- Xiawei (8/5): Very good - Great location. Good value for money!
- Francisco (8/5): Very good - Location was excellent.
