• Almira (10/5): - Very good location, right beside the Gülhane train station which makes everything accessible on foot or takes a short train ride. We visited Istanbul many times and this is one of the better hotels, clean unlike others, beds are comfortable, fridge works, climate control works well both for hearing and cooling. Nice and clean bathroom, showers have nice warm water with good preassure unlike other hotels. Room cleaning is regular and on point. The staff is very very nice and kind, they always gave us water and anything we wanted and needed. You will not regret staying at this hotel! We will definitely stay again next time we visit. Everything was good.

• Oussema (9/5): Nice experience - The hotel was very good. The room was small but clean, and the hotel itself is new with a wonderful view. The location is perfect, close to all transportation and within walking distance of many beautiful tourist attractions. The area was quiet at night, which made it easy to sleep . The service was excellent — Imran and Fouret were very kind and helpful. They kindly allowed us to keep our luggage on the last day since our return flight was delayed, and even let us use their private bathroom after checking out. It was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely come back next time. The mattress was not comfortable House keeping was provided every other day

• Maryna (10/5): - Mein Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war einfach wundervoll! Das Zimmer ist makellos sauber, die Bettwäsche strahlend weiß und unglaublich gemütlich – man möchte sich einfach entspannen und jede Minute genießen. Dusche und Bad sind in perfektem Zustand, alle Geräte funktionieren einwandfrei. Die Duschkabine, Toilette, Bidet und Waschbecken sind tadellos gepflegt, alles ist bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht. Die Atmosphäre im Zimmer vermittelt ein Gefühl von Ruhe und Komfort, hier wird wirklich Wert auf die Gäste gelegt. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel von Herzen jedem, der Sauberkeit, Gemütlichkeit und erstklassigen Service schätzt! Моё пребывание в этой гостинице оказалось просто восхитительным! Номер безупречно чистый, а постельное бельё белоснежное и невероятно уютное — хочется отдыхать и наслаждаться каждой минутой. Душ и ванная в идеальном состоянии, все приборы работают безупречно. Душевая кабина, туалет, биде и раковина безупречно ухожены, всё продумано до мелочей. Атмосфера номера создает ощущение спокойствия и комфорта, здесь действительно заботятся о гостях. Я с радостью рекомендую это место всем, кто ценит чистоту, уют и высокий уровень сервиса!

The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and all the charm of Istanbul’s Old City. The room was clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, with all the little touches that make a stay special. A special thank you to Imra, who gave us excellent recommendations for local, affordable places to eat and helped us understand how to get around using public transport. Thanks to him, we were even able to return to the airport easily while supporting the local economy. This place has the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and genuine Turkish hospitality. I’d 100% recommend Palmera Haya Sofia to anyone visiting Istanbul and will definitely stay again. A true gem!

Room is small, fine for me but 2 people would struggle to find space for luggage. (Better to remove wardrobe doors and put flat shelf for suitcase). Bed was too hard for me but it's personal preference.

The location is perfect (just one minute from tram station and it is located in the middle of the touristic area). Which makes it amazing spot to stay in. You need only 5- 10 minutes walking to reach most of the top destinations like Topkapi palace, national museum, and most of the beautiful mosques. And you need a maximum of 1 or 2 stops by tram to reach all famous places. Also, you are surrounded by a huge variety of restaurants that make your experience even more delightful. The staff are so nice and helpful. Specifically Emran, he is so nice and always ready to help us in everything we need. Highly recommend this hotel.

• Lajos (9/5): Superb - New rooms, all looks nice. Very close to T1 tramline. Super location, close to everything. Very nice and helpful staff. Close to restaurants and monuments. The rooms could be more spacious. The one we had was just fitting for the 2 of us, but was not easy to find a spot to open hour suitcase. The room was not cleaned daily, but to be honest we also have not asked for it.
• Anne (10/5): The experience was most pleasing. - The room was updated, new bathroom, comfortable bed. Sufficient facilities. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist me. I was walked to a nearby restaurant that served great food at reasonable prices. A small shelf in the shower would be very helpful. There is no place to put the shampoo/gel bottle.
• Diana (9/5): Very good and comfortable stay in İstanbul - The hotel’s location is excellent, it’s just near the tram stop and very close to many tourist places and embankment, and there are some nice food places around. The staff are very friendly and helpful :) The room was clean and the housekeeping was also good. We lived in a room with a balcony with the Hagia Sophia view, wich we also liked. Sometimes car noises outside might be a bit loud at night and you can hear it with the windows closed. We also wished that the hotel could offer breakfasts or at least coffee for additional fee.

• Barbara (7/5): The location was great and the hotel pretty decent but I had trouble sleeping due to heat and noise - The location was great for sightseeing and convenient for public transport. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Hotel was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The twin room was quite small and didn't really have a window/air flow so it got quite hot at night. We had to sleep with the AC on. The sound isolation wasn't great either if you have trouble sleeping - I could hear the elevator going up and down throughout the night and on one of the nights the hotel guests were very loud on the corridor until 4am. Because of this, I barely slept at all on my first night. To be fair, when checking in we were offered a double room on the other side of the building which was supposed to be bigger and have windows but for the sake of the quality of our sleep we weren't keen on sharing the bed.

Ufuk was trying to help as best as he can.l and was very friendly. The room is small as expected. Therefore, I have no complain as I prioritised the location over the size of the room.

• William (8/5): Good hotel, and resonably priced if you just want somewhere to stay. - Good location, near to the main sites such as Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sofia, and close to a tram stop for venturing further out into the city and over to the Asian side via the ferries. Room was very clean and modern, with a good bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Could get a bit noisy due to area, and being on the first floor, but that was to be expected and didn’t cause much of an issue.
