• Kgomotso (4/5): Disappointing. - Location The apartment could have been cleaner and the Wi-FI kept disconnecting which was inconvenient because one of the major reasons I chose this place was because of the promise of high speed internet. I spent hours on all 3 days I was there without internet connection which was inconvenient.
• Awesomevish (5/5): Has potential but needs improvement - Location is great in terms of easy access to amenities. The managing agent was responsive and contacted me before check-in. I felt like he heard my complaints and I hope that they will be addressed for future guests. Security made the check-in process easy. I liked that the key was in a lockbox. I arrived at night and was exhausted. On first glance, I thought the apartment looked nice. Tastefully furnished and neat. But as I began settling in, I became more and more uncomfortable. The WiFi is temperamental. My initial impression of cleanliness was soon marred by finding hair in several parts of the apartment, including the kitchen sponge! The sofas don't allow you to sit back - as soon as you do, it turns into a sleeper bed (is it broken?) There was no kitchen towel to dry dishes. The fridge is terrible - I bought a salad yesterday which is frozen today (the freezer portion does not have a door. Not sure if this is the problem). On the first night, I noticed that the bedding was dirty and had hair. I knew I could do nothing but manage the night. Thankfully, the next morning, the bedding was changed after I complained. And the hairdryer (which does not fit into the two-pin socket nor is an alternate plug provided) does not work. The noise from the neighbours kept me up most of the nights. They would watch movies up until 4am! I complained about this and was told that they would address it would security, but they cannot control the neighbour's behaviour.
