• jkosullivan1 (9/5): Great location, good layout and really nice host- would stay again. - Great location, very clean and a good amount of space. It had everything we needed and it's great for friends traveling together because there are two bathrooms. Host was great and met us there! The only thing that would have maybe made it better would have been a more comfortable sofa in terms in the downstairs room so we could hang out a bit before bed.

• Kathryn (10/5): The most comfortable beds of our whole trip by far! It’s like a small apartment with a bathroom for each bedroom. - The beds were extremely comfortable! They were the best ones in our whole two-week trip. I think they made an effort for that and it showed and was appreciated very much. It was in a great location. There was a nice kitchen with a fridge and extra supplies for us such as coffee and sugar. There was a bathroom for each bedroom, which was awesome! We traveled with my young adult son, and he loved having his own bathroom! 😁 There is a safe that you can use. Basically you’re renting an apartment which is perfect for a small group. I would’ve liked a dish towel for drying, but I think they would’ve provided it at request to be honest. The guy that checked us in was very nice.

Separate bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms, separate common room/ kitchen. landlord asked how we were doing several times and provided clean towels and coffee. there are stairs but only from the common room to the bedrooms. the common area needs better seating when you want to rest after a lot of walking. the air conditioning could use a cleaning.

• Stefanie (7/5): Good - We only stayed in Venice for one night. The apartment's two-story layout with separate bathrooms for each room was convenient, and the beds were very comfortable. It's location in a quieter part of Venice was a significant plus, offering a more peaceful experience while still being close to main attractions. We particularly appreciated the proximity to an amazing wine bar called Vino Vero, just a 5-minute walk away, which we enjoyed so much we visited twice during our short stay. We were accustomed to receiving information a day before arrival, which didn't happen in this case, prompting us to call the host. We encountered an unexpected situation with the previous guest still occupying the apartment well past the official check-out time. This was inconvenient, especially given the heavy rain during our stay, but not the host's fault. He did his best to resolve the situation, keeping us informed about the apartment's readiness. The ground floor of the apartment was quite dark and not particularly comfortable. We also noticed that the room with the smaller bathroom lacked a soap dispenser, which was a minor inconvenience.

• Jennifer (10/5): We had a fantastic stay in Venice! Perfect location for us and we had everything we needed. - Fantastic location! This apartment had charming details like the wood beams and brick. Very close walk to restaurants, coffee, stores, and market, right over a bridge along a small canal and sits directly across from 2 quiet shops. Host was so friendly and helpful. Very comfortable here in June with the A/C, nice to be able to walk all over the city and easily back to the apartment for a break or cold drinks and snacks we kept in the fridge. The 2nd bedroom/bath is smaller but the bed size is good for two, and the space worked well for our 2 daughters, as it was a bonus to find a place with 2 separate bedrooms. We loved this trip in large part due to this convenient apartment. You may want to pay to get a water taxi to the street as it took us 15 min to walk there from the train station, although it was fine for us with just carry-ons. We so enjoyed walking to St. Mark’s square and just exploring all over the city from our cute spot. Would definitely recommend! Just an fyi, one bathroom was a very small (would not work well for many adults) but worked okay for our teen daughters. Was so great to have a second bathroom though at a good price, as that can be hard to find!

• Carli (7/5): A little Basic but a clean and convenient apartment for a short stay. - Location was great. Easy access to public water taxi to and from the airport as well as major tourist spots. We actually enjoyed the area we were in as It was an escape from busy lanes filled with tourists and equally as pretty with cafes, restaurants and bars. The host was so helpful regarding finding /accessing the property late at night, provided us with recommendations and communication was easy via What'sapp during duration of our stay. We were even able to check out a bit later and leave our bags for a few hours while we enjoyed our last morning. All in all, for the limited time we were in by the rooms and what we paid I would say it was good value but rather basic. We were two couples and one of the bedrooms was significantly smaller /tighter bathroom etc so this is worth keeping in mind. The showers only ever got warm, we did raise as an issue and the host was extremely helpful and quick to come and check if there was a problem, which there wasn't, so I think this may just be the norm. The area itself is quieter than the more central parts of the city. However, if you are a light sleeper there is some noise late at night and early in the morning from people passing through and a bar at the end of the street open late.

Jono was very friendly and helpful so we knew we could contact him should we need anything, which we didn't as it was all very good. A beautiful apartment, Will recommend to others. I would like to give some constructive, positive feedback. There was some confusion getting door entry, I had messaged in advance for the door code and was told it would be sent but it was. Ended up phoning when we arrived but initially there was no answer so this was unsettling, my husband was convinced we had been scammed and would have nowhere to stay (he was panicking). Eventually I managed to speak to Jono who was very nice, friendly and helpful. My friend said she would have liked there to have been a toaster. In the photos on the website there is a sofa, this has been removed so sitting downstairs wasn't as comfortable as we would have liked the small bench isnt very practical. Although the long table is nice it would have been better to have had a shorter table where we could sit either side of and a corner sofa would be an improvement on comfort. I'm sure there would be space for this. The mirrored wall in the smaller bedroom seemed a bit odd and out of place for the style of the apartment

• Kerin (8/5): Very good - Good location btw the train station and St Mark Square. Its only a few minutes to shops, eateries and the supermarket. The apartment is a bit small for 4 of us with our 2 big suitcases. The 2nd bathroom is a bit small. Otherwise, generally good with all the required amenities provided.

Would recommend this to others. - The apartment is a fair bit of way to walk from the main area but it is expected as we didn't want to stay too close to the main area. Overall, the apartment is very cosy and the host is very responsive. If you are looking for a comfortable place to rest for the night, this is a good place as it is quiet and far from the main area which can be noisy. However, there is a small canal that is literarily steps away from the front door of this apartment. We ordered a water taxi for 4 of us with 2 large suitcases and some backpacks. We paid Euro90 (one way) for it and while it is not cheap, it was worth it as we did not have to roll our luggages across the roads and small bridges plus being squeezed in the public water bus to get to the mainland. Highly recommend to get the water taxi to get in/out of Venice. You can walk/take public boats for the times you explore within Venice. Only thing to note is that you have to climb a flight of stairs (no lift/elevator) from the entrance (the living room and kitchenette is on the ground floor) to the 2 bedrooms upstairs. Make sure you are able to carry your big/heavy luggages up a flight of stairs if you book this place. This is doable for those who have no issues to carry your luggages up one flight of stairs.
• Anna (9/5): Superb - Great location, comfortable beds and good value for money. Excellent communication from the host. The first floor might feel a bit tight, but overall a great apartment. The two separate bedrooms with bathrooms was a huge plus. The kitchen appliances were ok, we found salt and coffee. Fridge is a bit small, but it was enough for 2 nights. We had to step over the front door flood gate all the time and it couldn't be removed, but it is understandable that Venice floods can be unpredictable. Could not find the dishwasher tablets.
