Guest Reviews
- Nicole (10/5): Cute little apartment with a view - Clean and comfortable, and I loved the view from the kitchenette. The apartment was thoughtfully designed and a great space to spend a couple nights in Queenstown. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the host had great communication. Loved my stay here
- Stuart (10/5): -
- charles (7/5): Beautiful spot in Queenstown high on hill and Strahan only an hour away - Locality Westinghouse cooktop
- Brett (9/5): Great place to stay in Queenstown - The property was in a good location and very well presented. The kitchen pantry was well stocked including having emergency food if you arrive after the restaurants and supermarkets are closed which is thoughtful. A very comfy bed and large bathroom. Great communication from owners and good instructions at the property.
- David (10/5): Great Cottage Stay in Queenstown - It was a perfect place for us to base ourselves for a couple of days to explore the local area.
The cottage was warm, comfortable, clean, well appointed and had a nice view.
The host was easy to contact.
So all in all, perfect!
- Deborah (10/5): This was a really comfortable stop on our way to Strahan and then to Cradle Mtn. - View was lovely. It is very clean and comfortable. It was well equipped N/A
- Saltmarsh (9/5): -
- Michele (10/5): - Loved the high location, the comfort and friendliness of the cottage with lots of extras for our convenience like cereals, bread and even ingredients for dinner. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. We thoroughly recommend it.
- Anthony (10/5): - Great location to explore the West Coast of Tasmania. Handily placed for all the Queenstown restaurants, shops and activities. Strahan is a short drive away, offering more choice.
The apartment itself is lovely and exactly as described, clean and very comfortable. Nothing
- Vanlathum (9/5): - Bathroom was beautiful and good veiw of mountain

- Tim (10/5): Great accomodation not good location. - Comfortable bed
Great bathroom
Great view Location
- Luke (8/5): Perfect place to stay in Queenstown. - Bathroom was great
- Reto (8/5): - Modernes Bad und bequeme Betten Unbequeme Holzhocker in der Küche
- Kingston (9/5): Fantastic location for Queenstown and a really well thought out provision of services - A great location at the end of a street meant that I didn’t hear anything of traffic or street noise the whole time we were there. Yet just a few hundred meters away was an IGA and the Main Street. Up behind the property is a high hill you can walk up to get an even better view of Queenstown. The property has everything you need for a longer stay. Read the guide book as soon as you get in so you know how about the heated floor in the bathroom and how it works, the EV charger and everything else that the hosts have thoughtfully provided. Nothing comes to mind.
- Elaine (10/5): - Convient, very clean and comfortable, great information in folder
- Marc (7/5): Basale overnachting. Beloofde ontbijt viel tegen - Directe toegang, als afgesproken. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Prima badkamer met goede douche.
Wifi was okee.
- Kim (10/5): - Lovely cottage set high up on the hill, so walking out the front door you see the mountains.
This cottage has a laundry which was fantastic after travelling around the State.
You'll love the heated floors in the bathroom too.
For a nice quiet time, this is a must when in Queenstown! Any concerns just let the owners know as they would love to hear from you.

- Lynda (9/5): Great location, old house beautifully renovated. Perfect for a stay in Queenstown. - Excellent location, with nice views over the town. Breakfast was included and there were lots of choices. Everything you needed was there in the kitchen to prepare meals. Excellent washing machine and dryer. Took us a little while to get the heating right.
- David (9/5): - The cottage was very comfortable and warm. Great value for money
- Susan (8/5): -
- vicki (9/5): Better than expected and would highly recommend - The property has been wonderfully renovated and very homey, the heated flooring in the bathroom was a real winner! The stairs to the house were rather high and the tread not very wide, having said that there was only 5 but a little tricky in the rain.
- Troy (10/5): -
- Makayla (10/5): -
- TriciaMRM (10/5): Perfect couples retreat - Lovely cosy, comfortable accommodation. Perfect for a couple.
The bathroom is exceptional- certainly top hotel standard. The heater and under floor heating were very toasty first thing in the morning
All the mod cons and little extras provided helped to make our stay almost perfect. The only issue we had was with the electric hob. We could only get the larger ring working. This could be down to user error! Didn't massively affect our dining plans😄
- Tina-Lee (10/5): -
- Megan (10/5): -
- Dean (8/5): - Beautifully maintained and presented properly, with great communication from hosts. Underfloor heating in the bathroom and an electric blanket was a real treat! Couldn’t get the wall mounted heater or tv to work… but wasn’t a deal breaker, as the radiator and wifi were working fine.
- Ray (10/5): Really nice place to stay . Great host, lovely cottage atmosphere . - Wow. This place was a fantastic get away . Home away from home .
Loved the heated flooring in the bathroom on a cold winters day.
Hosts were wonderful and very very helpful . Nothing to dislike
- Lee (9/5): Great - I bought my own bread but there was some slices available in the freezer. The tv was difficult to use, the volume too high and the remote didn’t have a volume control , nor could I find one on the tv.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - A very comfortable and cosy cottage, well appointed, fabulous bathroom, with a great northerly view over the town. All good here..
- John (10/5): Warm and comfortable with excellent facilities and bonus food supplies if needed -
- Rob (10/5): The external appearance is average but the interior is fantastically modern and comfortable. - The interior of the house was so well appointed.
- Jessica (10/5): Cosy and comfortable - Great spot! Wish we had more time on our trip - will definitely be back! Really cosy and comfortable!
- Melissa (10/5): Fabulous Queenstown 👍 - We absolutely loved this place!!! The bed was amazing , the views of the mountains, cozy, clean, nice new bathroom , everything was perfect! 👌
- Elisa (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect - from the host’s concise, easy to follow instructions through to all the little touches of the cottage. The view was gorgeous, we were snug and comfortable, and everything has been thought of. I highly recommend this place and wish we could have stayed longer.
- Taye (7/5): Good -
- Russell (7/5): Was good - Bathroom and laundry facilities Open packets of food
If you are required to take your shoes off before entering apartment a seat or stool would be appropriated
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Nathan (10/5): Great view, even better bathroom. - Great location in Queenstown (view is as good as advertised). Awesome bathroom with heated floor, the first rain style shower head that I've actually like (and a normal head), floor to ceiling tiles and a mirror with built in light. Comfy bed, Netflix on the tv, well appointed interior and chocolates on arrival. It wasn't an issue but I wasn't aware when booking that the house is split into 2 'apartments' so we had someone else staying in the house as well, but it didn't bother us.
- Tian (5/5): Over rating/ Over price - Easy to access and it is a quiet place! The cleanliness - a bit dirty - a died bee/fly on the towel which the hose provided, the carpet is very dirty. And the host advices the house is “shoes free area”. How people can walk around in the house with bared feet when the house is dirty! - Follow up, the hose sent us message to blame me telling the truth here. And told us “LIVE WITH THe LIFE, you can walk bared feet on the carpet” - why I can wear shoes in house then? What a joke!
- Judy (8/5): Overall a nice quick stay. - Comfortable stay with some nice touches. Would have liked to know about the stairs (double knee replacement) and there were a lot of rules 😅
- Mario (9/5): Good base for exploring also surroundings of Queenstown -
- Mathew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alessandro (10/5): Exceptional - Location, cleanliness Nothing
- Colin (8/5): Very good - Standard if facilities Having to remove shoes and no chair provided to sit on to help change shoes. I’m nearly 70 so can’t do this standing on one leg
- Susana (10/5): Elena and her husband were excellent host. - Immaculately clean, warm and comfortable bed, washing machine and dryer, selections of pillows (memory foam pillow and the normal cotton pillow), the modern heated bathroom and toilet, well stocked pantry. And of course, the view of the mountains and quiet neighborhood. Nothing to fault!
- Cheryl (8/5): Very good -
- Ramunas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rita (10/5): Great value, high quality and peaceful location. - The cottage was perfect for a peaceful getaway. Close enough to the town but far enough away from passing traffic being tucked at the top of the hill. There wasn't anything we didn't like. Everything was as described and great value for the quality of the accommodation.
- Elyse (9/5): Superb - Loved that the owner thought to provide some quick meals as we did arrive when most eateries were closed. And included a few options for a quick breakfast . Misunderstanding regarding the cooking hotplate and no suitable microwave cookware to use. Maybe need a little more details in the welcome folder. And more butter for the toast/ raisin toast
- Giuseppe (9/5): Superb -
- Nigel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynne (9/5): Excellent. Would recommend. - Close to the centre of Queenstown. Spotlessly clean everything you need for a very comfortable stay. plenty of heating and extra blankets for those chilly nights. Even power boards so we could charge phones etc. Nothing
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - A very comfortable house to return to after exploring the region. No compaints
- Tracy (8/5): Very good -
- Janet (9/5): Great, extremely comfortable & well appointed. Very impressed. - Had great difficulty using the TV ‘Google’ remote.
Needed a 5yr old 🤣🤣.
- Gaye (9/5): Convenient and cosy - Lovely little house on top of the hill with a good view .
Loved watching sunset from lounge.
Well appointed - thoughtful little touches - amazing bathroom . Host Elana left the heater on for us - super friendly and posted home an item I had left behind . Cozy in the cold .
- Kylie (10/5): Cute, clean, cozy and convenient!! - Cute, half a cottage with great views of the town and mountains. Nicely renovated, very clean, lots of thoughtful extras like bread for toast in the freezer, milk and pantry items to use, comfy bed and great communication by owner. Nothing!
- Willian (9/5): Superb -
- Tracy (10/5): Property was clean and cosy with modern amenities - Directions were clear and info was provided well before check in and then again 24hrs prior to check in
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional - Unassuming exterior on a steep hill - easy stroll into town shops. Beautifully fitted out inside with a fine blend of period art Deco and modern fittings and furniture. Warm and inviting
- Will (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (8/5): Great stay. We may have left a pair of men’s shoes. We have not been notified. - Cosy, walking distance to town centre, owners easily contacted and problem remedied. One small item😉, could have done with a couple more tea towels.
- Stephen (9/5): Our stay in Queenstown was pleasant and comfortable and in a very quiet area which was appreciated. - The view was nice from the cottage. The breakfast was cereal and buns, with tea and coffee available. The cottage was nice and roomy and the bathroom was clean. The level off street parking was great as well as a hose to clean our filthy car. The cottage was air conditioned which was lovely as we arrived on a hot day. The neighbourhood was quiet and the security cameras helped with safety. We needed to go to the supermarket to buy milk, bread and margarine. There wasn’t any jam or honey. The stools were wobbly for sitting and eating. We were asked to take our shoes off before entering the cottage which is uncomfortable for people who use orthotics or special footwear. The house was at the top of a very steep road and we had trouble locating the property number. There are a lot of empty run down properties in the street but were told it was a safe area.
- Alison (9/5): Superb - Clean, comfortable accommodation. Lovely views Outside BBQ would have been great
- David (5/5): Passable -
- Sandra (8/5): Nice stay -
- Gray (8/5): Very good -
- Barry (9/5): Superb - The bathroom and the view were excellent. They need to buy a toaster for the apartment.
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - Nice view and comfortable and quiet. Close enough to walk to town. Just a microwave for cooking.
- Magdalene (8/5): Clean and comfortable. Very nice bed. - Lovely location with beautiful views, close to town. House number more visible.
On the info sheet it states there is a washing machine available, however not in the area we were staying. We had to ask to use the machine in the larger unit.
Please put a small table alongside the chairs in the lounge. Would be nice to have a place for your glass of wine. We just used the rubbish bin.
Property needs a bit of a tidy up outside. Old bathroom stuff lying in back yard.
- Rosemary (8/5): Great views and location for Queenstown. - Views great, Renovated house with interior appearance and comfort great.
Info folder good. Steep road but good for the views from most windows.
Bathroom very good, hot water easy to adjust. I was a little surprised that there was no bread/muffin or butter supplied. We had to go to the local IGA.
As all our other breakfast accommodation have supplied these 2 items.
- Joe (9/5): Very comfortable, host was very great just didn’t stay long enough to really appreciate it - Very clean and comfortable
- Alessio (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was super clean and with all the comfort you need, the bathroom is simply amazing, the bed very comfortable and warm, it looks to be at home, you don’t have the feeling that is a room that you have rent for just one night.
