It is located near Sultanahmet Square—about a 10-minute walk and you are in the heart of the city. All the staff were very friendly and helpful; they provided all the information we needed and organized our airport transfer by van. The breakfast was good, with plenty of options to satisfy everyone. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay close to the center of Istanbul.

Я жила в декабре, и мне очень пригодилось теплое одеяло, которое было в номере. Завтраки скромные, но за невысокую цену номера (2700 руб.за ночь) я считаю это просто подарком. Персонал гостеприимный. Понравилось то, что это старинное здание со своей атмосферой, погрузившей в мир Стамбула. Аутентичный вид из окна 😊

The room- was small, there was no space to even open two suitcases next to each other. We had a ground floor room, which was loud, next to the breakfast area, so every morning at 7am we woke up to the housekeeping and janitor shouting. The room was also not very well maintained, it smelled mouldy and musty, ants and bugs everywhere. The isolation wasn’t very good, we could hear the neighbours talking all the time and there was either the water pressure/pipe sounds waking us or the creaking floors from upstairs.

• Edit Eva (8/5): Jobb, mint a képeken - Tisztaság, elhelyezkedés rendben volt, a csomagokat kijelentkezés után ott hagyhattuk a szálláson. Az ágy kényelmes, a Standard Double szobát és a Family szobát ajánlom, az Economy nagyon kicsi, előbbiek megfelelő méretűek két embernek. Öt nap alatt egy alkalommal kicserélték a törülközőket és kivitték a szemetet. Ez számomra teljesen jó, környezettudatos, takarékos hozzáállás. A reggeli is rendben volt, jobb, mint a képeken: közepes minőségű sajtok, felvágottak, főtt tojás, olajbogyó, olajbogyós saláta, padlizsán, friss zöldségek, és a legjobb: a dinnye. Az étkező tiszta, családias. A kávé nem annyira finom, de az első kávéig a városban ki lehet bírni vele, különösen a teával, ami viszont teljesen rendben van. Genius-szal ingyenes, és így megérte ezt inkább ezt a szállást választani, mint egy hasonló árkategóriájút reggeli nélkül. A szállás 5 napra, ha csak aludni akar ott az ember, teljesen rendben van, minden látványosság közel, élelmiszerbolt, park, étterem a közelben található. Szemben van egy élelmiszerbolt, ahol nagyon kedves a tulajdonos és ugyanazon az oldalon egy terasz, ahol jó és nem drága az étel. Azért írtam ilyen hosszasan, mert sok helyen átvernek a szép fotókkal és az értékeléseknél látszik, hogy nem olyan a valóság, mint a reklám. Ez a szállás ebből a szempontból nem ver át. Érkezéskor azt mondták, hogy 226 euró, ha készpénzben fizetem, 235, ha kártyával. Mivel a bankautomata 12 euró kezelési költséget kért, a második opciót választottam. De ez nem fair, mert a booking.com a 226 eurót rögzítette. Ezt jobb lenne az elején, már a foglalásnál közölni. És ezek után a tulajdonos üzenetben kért, hogy adjak 10 pontos értékelést. A fürdőbe kellene pár akasztó a törülközőknek, ruháknak. A fürdőajtó nem záródott megfelelően, az ablak nehezen nyílik. A légkondiból vizeletszag jött vagy 10 percig első használatkor, de aztán elmúlt. A vízforraló nem működött, de kicserélték. Az egész törökországi utazást elrontotta, hogy folyamatosan résen kellett lenni, mert át akartak verni, a megbeszéltnél végül többet kell fizetni, sok helyen nincsenek is kirakva az árak. Olyan vagy turistaként, mint egy két lábon járó pénztárca.

Fischrestoranten im Hafen 1,5 km gut erreichbar. Sofia Muschee und blaue Muschee, Park und Promenade mit Pespektive auf Bosphorus ebenfalls gut zu Fuß erreichbar. 27/7 an Rezeption immer ein Ansprechpartner da. Kein Lunchbox für frühabreisende Gäste. Zimmer verfügt kein Schrank für die Wäsche nur kleine Garderobe für Jacke und Bluse. Ziemlich eng für zwei Gäste.

• Dmitri (10/5): Short stay in a quarter near Sultanahmet - Welcoming and hospitality of the receptionist, spacious and clean room, quiet street, many restaurants nearby. A turkish breakfast is served at neighbouring hotel with a beautiful view over old Istanbul from the roof terrace. I've got a room at Emirhan Guesthouse&Suites since Emirhan hotel was overbooked and the room was of a higher class than I booked. Absence of lift which is usual for historical buildings may be considered as a small inconvenience by some.

The staff is very kind and helpful. Provided useful infos about the area, also showed us the nearby restaurants, grocery stores, exchange and others. The breakfast is nothing special. Simple with a little variation but plenty and enough. Even made us coffee. We had the attic room with separate beds. It is quite small but since we were always out the city, big room wasn"t priority. Great for short visitings! Definietly coming back when we visit Istanbul again. Everything was great

The hotel is 10 mins walking distance from the Hagia Sofia and Blue mosque. Totally worth it. Bathrooms were clean however the locks had some issues. Nevertheless, it was up to expectations.
