Guest Reviews
- Ann (10/5): Very comfortable and cozy. - Clean, new, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of windows.
- Olga (10/5): Great! - Malaspina Strait Tiny Home is a charming place in a beautiful location. Kitchen’s well equipped with everything, nice deck, lots of space outside, great views. Thank you! The weather 😊
- Mia (9/5): Lovely - Beautiful and self contained, excellent location and value The beds were quite hard.
- Rosemary (9/5): I'll be be back! - This tiny house has it all! Kitchen was very well stocked and there were loads of towels. Bedding was good too!
The ceiling is so high and with so many windows it's not claustrophobic at all.
The new deck down on the beach is gorgeous! And huge, what a bonus! The stairs up and down are very doable despite my knee issue.
BTW, there is a huge Webber BBQ on the Tiny House deck. The only thing that could improve the experience would be a place to sit on the deck with it rains. There isn't any shelter on the deck.

- Tom (8/5): - Very nice tiny house with a view on Malaspina strait in the distance. It's a few minutes walk to the rocky beach. One of the alarms (for CO?) did not approve of our cooking and we unplugged it at night to make it go completely silent.
- Ying (10/5): - Good location, quiet and private. Only 3 minutes walk to the beach. It's small but it has everything we need. Our whole family enjoyed it alot and look forward to coming back in the future.
- Steve (8/5): -
- Teresa (9/5): - The kitchen had everything you might need, even a blender. Amazing.
- Bolton (9/5): Good location, gorgeous interiors and perfect location right by the ocean. - Amazing tiny home, fully stocked with everything you need in the perfect location just outside Powell river. We loved the big deck to play games and cook on the high tech bbq. One of the beds on the upper level had a slight dip in the middle so was quite uncomfortable and the bathroom door was difficult to lock. We still very much enjoyed our stay though.
- Ron (7/5): First time experiencing a tiny home. Fine for a short stay. -
- Jessica (9/5): Gracious hosts and I would definitely recommend others to stay there. - Private, beautiful view of the ocean. We loved sitting on the deck and having our meals. I suggest a couple of fans.
- Heather (8/5): Fullfilled our needs comfortably. Clean and well organized. - Completely outfitted kitchen with good quality items to fulfill every need that you could imagine. Well organized. Kicking Horse coffee provided. Lots of towels provided for the week. 4 Comfy pillows of different softness to accommodate individual preferences. Heated radiant floors is a nice treat. Comfy deck space with table and chairs expands your living space. Easier access to the loft. Storage space for clothes in the bedroom.
- Michelle (7/5): Very good - Location is great 👍
- Liron (9/5): Superb -
- Bc_traveller (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jake (10/5): Wonderful stay - incredibly hospitable, comfortable, and felt right at home - Beautiful location with an ocean view N/A
- Siying (7/5): Good - Tiny home on a beautiful property which is great for the dog. The hosts were great and responsive. The tiny home was clean and had everything I needed. There was also extra storage in the bed. For the price, it was even smaller than I expected from the photos and felt a bit cramped.
- Campbell (8/5): Very good -
- Keith (10/5): Relaxing and enjoyable. - Host was very generous and accommodating, property was beautiful, well kept and the stay was cozy and warm. Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Ana (10/5): This was a great place to stay. - The ocean access was fantastic. Lots of space between other visitors. Fire pit with wood provided. I don’t have any complaints.
- Nancy (8/5): Lovely stay in a quaint town with stunning views. - The tiny home was pleasant and we loved that the veranda had a door on it - our dog (which was welcomed!) absolutely loved laying out on the deck & we felt comfortable knowing he wouldn’t be roaming the property. The beach access was awesome and the views are amazing!! The tiny home also was well equipped with everything we needed to make a stay of it! It was more with Powell River than the home itself; check your vacation around weekends and stat holidays. We were looking forward to walking around small shops but everything (and we mean everything) was closed both Sunday and the holiday Monday. This put a slight damper on the trip however there are plenty of hikes & sea walks to keep you entertained.
- Anthony (8/5): Quiet location and very easy to access. Has good outdoor space and view of the water. - Very quiet location. Well stocked kitchen and basic condiments. nice outdoor deck Would be nice to have a chair/table combo to sit at indoors. Folding table is a little tight with space and awkward to sit on couch and try to use folding table to eat a meal. Sadly the rain prevented me from using outdoor deck& table.
- Moa (10/5): The perfect weekend getaway place - Incredible views from the beach 3 minutes away. Very cosy tiny house, with all amenities. Nothing!
- Nadina (10/5): Perfect spot! - The privacy, comfort and location was great. Being able to have my dogs was appreciated! Love that it is nestled in the trees, has a great deck with BBQ and so close to the ocean as well.
- David (10/5): Small but large house? Don and Sylvia built a great place. - Clean and friendly host!
- Bijan (10/5): Tiny home but amazingly laid out and comfortable - Beautifully modern and clean, fitted out with all the essentials that you need to stay comfortably, cook and enjoy the coastline. Loved that we were able to harvest clams and oysters just off the beach! Nothing, everything was great.
