• Johanna (9/5): This property was our first house that we rented in Costa Rica and the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. - Loved that the Villa is at the end of a cul-de-sac and the soft landscaping in front provided just enough privacy. Our favorite part was the back porch. We were able to observe birds, insects and flowers. - a comfortable place to observe the peaceful jungle. The yard was large and well kept. The villa is very clean/new. Beds are firm which my husband appreciated. There is a stovetop but not oven if that matters…. Water pressure is great, though the shower is set up differently than it is in comparison to American plumbing- it worked fine. Cleanliness great. Host checked in to see if we needed anything. We didn’t- the modern style villa is well set up. Definitely recommend this lovely place especially if you have kids that like sleeping in a high loft / Vaulted ceiling room with steep stairs.

• Paul (10/5): A lovely home in beautifully lush spacious setting teaming with wildlife. - Beautiful and spacious house at back corner of large property. Lush forest on both sides abundant with wildlife which included many toucans, parakeets, and parrots. We could also hear howler monkeys at times making their howls off in the distance. Luis, the owner, was friendly and attentive and responded immediately the few times we contacted him. No cons, only pros

• Bernadett (10/5): Big house in a quiet environment - It is a really spacious house, very clean and perfect for 4 people. If there are more than 4, it should be perfect if some can sleep together. The rooms are comfy. We love the surrounding. The terrace is gorgeous with birds everywhere. Special thanks for the washing machine! The upper room is not a closed room, it is only a sleeping gallery. No walls, and the sound of the person walking on it can be heard below in the room. But this room is very spacious, too.

• David (10/5): Put this place top of your list when visiting La Fortuna. - What you see in the picture is all yours. On arrival this property was spotless and presented with everything you need. This was the second property on our tour so the onsite laundry was very welcome. If self catering, the kitchen literally has everything. AC in every room. Location is perfect for touring the area. Two excellent restaurants 10 minutes walk towards the town.

We loved coming home to the peaceful sounds of the forest every night and having coffee on the patio in the mornings. Luis was an excellent host. No complaints! We had everything we needed.

The villa s perfectly located being very close to all the main attractions. Only a short drive from all the best spas and hot springs. The host was very accommodating, quick to respond and helpful with any questions. We would be more than happy to stay here again if/when we return to Arenal.
