• Hannah (9/5): - Lovely guesthouse with really kind owners who couldn't do enough for you. Great location near a little high street in Wimbledon, highly recommend Drop Shot Coffee shop nearby. Short walk to the overground and underground stations in Wimbledon and then approximately 20min train ride into central London. Room was spacious with all the basic amenities and a great value for money.

La habitación tiene todo lo que necesitas perfecto, la cama es cómoda, hay calefacción por las noches y mucha luz por la mañana, lo cual te despierta un poco pero es muy agradable. El personal es super amable. Me esperaron hasta tarde porque me retrasé a la hora de hacer el check in. Es perfecto para descubrir el oeste de Londres, que es precioso y tiene muchisimas cosas. La ubicación es preciosa para ir caminando directamente pero hay que saber que hay que caminar 15 minutillos hasta el metro.

• Alicja (10/5): It is always a pleasure to stay there! - Great location within walking distance of Wimbledon train station, in a very pleasant and charming neighbourhood. The house itself is absolutely delightful, and the hosts are wonderful. The rooms are simply furnished but equipped with everything you might need, including a kettle and a hair dryer. Everything is spotless and very well maintained. The heating works perfectly, and the bed is very comfortable. I like it exactly as it is.

Super charming and super clean room in a safe and quiet neighborhood. - My sister and I stayed at Marple Cottage Guest House for two nights and wish we had a longer stay! We loved everything about it! The quiet and safe neighborhood, the friendly hosts, the clean and cosy bedroom and the delicious breakfast. My sister cannot stop talking about the best tea she has ever tasted! The Guest House was located only 10 min away from the lovely Wimbledon Village, and the more bustling "downtown" of Wimbledon. The host recommended we walk to Cannizaro Park which was certainly a highlight during our trip. They even let us check out late! We are so glad we found this Guest House and will definitely come back again!

• christine (7/5): After my initial welcome by hosts, room failed to live up to expectations for the money. - The son and his mother who ran the property were friendly and welcoming. No shower gel provided in shower. This does not cost a lot to provide and is a pet hate of mine as I’ve experienced it before. No biscuits with tea/coffee. I was travelling alone so stayed in at night and these little personal touches just add to your experience.

Very caring and welcoming Room 9 at the front of the property so a little road noise and right next to front door so also a little noise from that. Adjustable window shutters are good but let a bit of light through. No cooked breakfast only continental style

• Daniel (10/5): The best, welcoming and warmest accommodation I have ever stayed at when visiting London ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐ - Absolutely everything! From the moment we arrived to the time we left we had a warm welcome, Bridget (landlady) was an absolute pleasure and delightful, and nick was (her son) ready to assist with anything. Our last day we went to see the ABBA concert and we was able to leave our belongings at Marple Cottage and collect later on! I will most DEFINITELY book to stay here again 100%. • Sofian (3/5): Everything I don’t like. - The lady who welcomed me was very nice Car traffic noise, broken curtains letting light fill the room at night, room temperature was way too hot for me to sleep despite having turned off the heater, no window in bathroom, could hear other guests in adjacent rooms.

• Gary (9/5): A friendly, caring and well-located BnB facility - The location of the property -- an 800m walk away from the Wimbledon railway station, makes it ideal to use as a base for travelling around London. The facility is well managed by the owners, who were welcoming and supportive. Nothing much given the cost of the stay against the experience of accommodating there for a week.

The location was great - only a short walk to the shops and restaurants. If you park on the correct street you can get free parking on a weekend which was a bonus. Whilst I enjoyed breakfast (cereals, toast, yoghurt, fresh fruit), there isn't a cooked breakfast option which some people might expect.
