• Laura (8/5): Lisa was so nice and went out of her way to allow us earlier access for my elderly mum which I greatly appreciated. The - The property was ok for location and in general set up. The property is tired. Needs a thorough deep clean inside and out. Needs maintenance on blinds, on rear slider as it won’t stay up, wall at top of stairs needs fixing, better mattresses. Kitchen needs some new frypans and fridge needs a good clean. The range hood needs a really good clean as it is a fire hazard. Light bulbs need replacing. Fridge in garage is revolting needs to be cleaned and aired as it smells so bad. Backyard needs to be tidied up and bbq needs replacing. Toilet downstairs needs cleaning at back of seats as it’s dirty.

• Rachit (7/5): - The house good, host is good too but I guess the cleaning team is not doing their job properly. Toilet roll, handwash were missing in master suite( we had to buy 1). It was written that coffee pod will be provided but that was missing too. We understand that Check out time was 10 am but the cleaners came exactly at 10 am with the whole family and their kids. We just requested them to give us the 10 more minutes please because we had a new born who was little unsettled in the morning and but she was rude and asked us to leave in 5 minutes. Host is good and responsive but cleaners need to be changed for sure. Cleaning team. Toilet Rolls, handwash were missing in master suite.

• Kim (8/5): Pleasant vacation for old and young. - The house had plenty of space for a large family group and there are several nice outdoor areas to use. The location was convenient. It is only a short walk to coffee shop, fish and chip shop and Cowes beach. I didn’t like that the child safely gate at the top of the stairs was broken. Luckily we didn’t need to use it. We needed to clean the bbq before we used it. A few things need to be repaired or thrown out inside the house and outside.

• Lynda (9/5): We had a lovely family break with everyone having a great time. - The house was very nice and there was plenty of room for adults and kids. The yard was perfect for the dogs and it was close to red rocks and main beach via McKenzie road. There was enough parking for all of us and there was a nice assortment of games for the kids. Kitchen was open and easy for cooking. It was a nice area for walking the dogs and bike riding for the little ones was easy with the little park a couple of houses up. Settlement Road can be busy so traffic noise was there (this could also be we notice it more coming from a no through road.) There were a couple of things not working but the owner was really great and said she didn't have any idea. The main living/kitchen / lounge area is upstairs so if you don't like steps this may not be okay.

• Nellie (9/5): Comfortable House - Very large house with plenty of room. Well-equipped and comfortable with 2 living rooms and TVs. Plenty of amenities for a relaxing stay. Well equipped kitchen. There was a BBQ and pit fire which we didn't use. Bed was comfortable. Good sized rooms. A second fridge in garage. Plenty of board games, books and toys. Well-equipped for young children. The oil heater downstairs was insuffient to heat the downstairs area and therefore downstairs was very cold. The dryer was not working efficiently and therefore clothes took a long time to dry. Coffee pod flavours. Bath towels were very thin. no kitchen teatowels.

There was toys around the house for the kids to get busy with. Love that the kitchen was well stocked with water and basic seasoning for our usage. The coffee machine with capsules provided was a bonus! Nothing at all!

The property was impeccably clean and wonderfully cozy. What sets it apart is the host's incredible attention to detail. They've thought of everything, from providing kids' toys to a barbecue on the balcony, a massive TV set in the living room, a coffee machine, and even complimentary water in the fridge. These thoughtful touches made our stay truly special. The location is perfect, and we felt fortunate to have discovered this gem for a one-night getaway. The only minor inconvenience we found was that access to the backyard wasn't as handy as we would have liked. It required going through the garage rather than from inside the house.
