- Gord (10/5): -
- Leena (10/5): Kodikas majoitus, tänne tulisin uudelleen! - Söpö pieni majoituspaikka loistavalla sijainnilla. Tim ja Doreen saivat sen tuntumaan kotoisalta. Ihanat ihmiset! Lämmin kiitos huolenpidosta ja avuliaisuudesta.
- Diana (10/5): - We were so pleasantly surprised. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Appreciate the attention to detail in the guest rooms. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff were very kind. Will definitely come back again.
- Michael (9/5): -
- Wally (10/5): Great place to stay- lovely view to garden- good breakfast - Doreen the manager is a gem- wonderful kind and efficient manager Nothing
- Lizete (10/5): Cozy and great location - The location, the staff and the instalation are fabelous!
- Kyle (10/5): -
- Guest (9/5): Perfect location for a short break in NOTL. - The location being so close to the town centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing. It was all good.
- Stephen (10/5): -
- Fiona (10/5): - What a beautiful friendly place to stay! Manager Doreen was a ray of sunshine and owner Tim obviously loves the place, which has been in the family for many years. The breakfasts were delicious and the location was walking distance to everything. We could even have walked to some of the local wineries if it hadn't been snowing. Bathroom was a little bit cramped with not much space to put things.

- Becky (10/5): Amazing stay at a beautifully presented, cosy and quaint house - Beautiful, cosy, quaint house, walking distance to the main part of town. The photos don’t do it justice! I would definitely come back and stay again and the owner was very friendly and hospitable. 11 out of 10! Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Guest (10/5): - breakfast was included which was very nice

- Maria-Elena (8/5): Friendly, comfy and homely place to stay, near centre of NOL. We will return. - Very good reception and explanation. Good location - central in NOL Like to have had hot food for breakfast
- Greg D (8/5): Two nights in memorable mansion. - Proximity to shopping and restaurants, and atractions is few minutes walk.
Staying in the hotel gives you little "victorian" feel. Spending time in the garden (just amazing) makes you feel that time doesn' t exist. Definitely place to create timeless photos. Personel is extremely friendly. Nothing major to complain about. Music in the breakfast hall keep playing in a loop same clasical piece for two days. You may want to bring some lactose free milk with you.
- Paul (9/5): -
- Calvin (9/5): The location was good for the activities we planned. - Location was excellent. The place was cozy. Breakfast had an excellent variety of choices. No real complaints. We did notice that the bathtup took a long time to drain.
- CATHLEEN HEIDI (9/5): Great stay, great location - Little extras in the room. No ability to adjust room temperature.
- Guest (10/5): - Breakfast and location and staff were excellent!
- Lynn (9/5): -
- Kerry (7/5): - Great location, close to main street and bike paths.
Cosy and beautiful setting. The rooms are in desperate need of updating. Lamp shades, walls and bathroom floor are yellowish and stained.
- Joyce (9/5): -
- Regina (7/5): - Social spaces and garden were lovely. Parking on premises. Proximity to downtown.
Very nice reception.
Patio off room was lovely. Room,in spite of air conditioning was too warm. Trouble sleeping.
Breakfast was ok but simple. Would have liked hot meal choices.
Room small .

- justine (10/5): Delightful surroundings, good parking, and quiet, convenient location. - a great location for walking to the plays and restaurants. The building was very quiet. The patio was beautiful Breakfast was very good. . Delightful stay here. Provided umbrellas when it was raining. Charming old-fashioned building with lovely patio out of large sliding doors in our room. Complimentary soft drinks were a plus.
- Rocio Soledad (10/5): - La propiedad esta muy bien ubicada, el servicio es muy bueno y Dorin la persona que atiende es un mil. Muy servicial, nos ayudó y nos recomendó todo.
- John (10/5): Our new yearly vacation spot. - Perfect location on quiet street but very relaxing. Lots of details in room like cookies and chocolate. Shower was nice and hot. Plenty of room for suit caseS, not just one. Coffee and frig. Plenty of ice and free soft drinks. Evev a screened in outdoor room cards or more wine enjoyment time. Just out side our door is a patio with flowers and pure relaxation. I didn’t stay longer. Loved it all.
- Susan (3/5): - Location good
Staff excellent Broken furniture, cheap sheets and towels. Guest rooms need updating.
- Rosalie (10/5): Blairpen is a wonderful place to stay at the Shaw Festival. - Comfort; breakfast; location Nothing
- Robert (9/5): Our three day stay in Niagara on the Lake was very enjoyable. - Conveniently located near center of town.
Modest but very adequate breakfast offered in a comfortable dining room with larges tables.
Excellent wi-fi with 400 MBS speed. I have never experienced that kind of speed in a hotel or B& B. Our room was on the second floor. We found the central air conditioning to be inadequate to cool the room to our liking.
The chairs in our room with spindles on the back were very uncomfortable. The choice of TV channels was very limited. No CNN, FOX, MSNBC etc.
- MaryLynne (10/5): We enjoy Niagara on the Lake and visit several times a year. We will stay here again - The breakfast was excellent with attention paid to freshness and different tastes.
There were quiet corners for relaxing. We especially enjoyed the screened tea room in the evenings for enjoying a glass of local wine.
The staff was joyfully wonderful and knowledgeable about the area. The inn is steps away from shops, theatres and shopping.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Overall it was a delightful place to stay. - It's charm, location, beautiful patio, garden and summerhouse, and Doreen, the very friendly, welcoming and reeponsive manager. The breakfast which did have some yummy items could have used more protein options.

- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Linda (8/5): good value - Love the location. easy walking access to downtown, the shaw festival and a number of local wineries. superb location! while the room was very comfortable, i found the bathroom to be small for 2 people to share. also found the towels a bit thin. would have preferred thicker towels. these were thinner than we usually experience in the NOTL B&Bs.
also, while it was really nice to have breakfast included. I didn't particularly enjoy the selection available. both mornings, they ran out of egg muffins and croissants.
- Paul (7/5): Good - Location and staff It's getting tired and needs redecorating.
- Stuart (8/5): Very good -
- Ron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): Good choice for a long weekend. - Great location, perfect European breakfast. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Also off street parking available. No house keeping, bed not made daily, towels not changed but I’m sure if I asked for clean towels my request would be honored.
- Maureen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sinno (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawn (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): Gem of NOTL - Quiet and comfortable
- Anonymous (8/5): Very enjoyable. Would book this Inn again. - The communications prior to our arrival.
Very good breakfast options.
Our room was very clean.
Great quiet lounge space for reading.
The Inn was very secure.
Gardens are lovely.
The owner gave us an interesting history of the Inn. Next time we book, we'll ask for a main level room. We have mobility issues & the stairs were slightly difficult.
Suggest new linen for the bed, particularly the comforter/duvet (thanks for the blanket).
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Sharpe (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect for us. Doreen was amazing - very helpful answering any of our questions.
- Michielli-pendl (10/5): Great stay - Breakfast was extensive and delicious
Location was blocks from the theater and the main streets
Balcony room was overlooking the garden where a glass of wine was almost necessary
Great hosts too Price was a bit high
- Franco (8/5): Nice place. Well located. Will stay again. -
- Raymont (9/5): Superb -
- Kim (10/5): You will never regret staying here. - Everything about Blairpen house is cosy and comfortable. You can hear the people upstairs pretty easily. But this is common in most bed-and-breakfasts so not really a complaint. Just an observation.
- Ryam (10/5): Will be back. - Staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, and the inn was really comfy. It is not what i didnt like, i usually wake up early and i feel bad showeing early as I feel like the rooms beside us can hear the shower. No bad commeny, just feel bad.
- Laura (7/5): Good -
- Cynthia (8/5): We will not be back if the “appointment check in” continues…. - Close to the Main Street …. Rigid check in times…Not being able to check in when we got there…
- Carolin (8/5): A Warm and Relaxing Stay - We have stayed at Blairpen several times now over the years, and our latest stay was the same high quality as in the past. The room was clean, and the decor charming. Water pressure was great in the bathroom, with plenty of towels and toiletries. Our hostess Doreen was friendly and helpful, as was our host Tim, whom we have met over the years and found to be always informative, warm and genial. The continental breakfast has plenty of options: cereal, a toaster is available, fresh bread, croissants, sliced cold meats and cheese, fresh yogurt, fresh and dried fruit. The coffee is always great. Our favourite part of the inn is the access to the cozy public rooms on the main floor, especially the lounge with the lovely sofas and the gas fireplace. The vibe is so relaxing and it is very nice to have smart TV service in all the rooms, including the lounge. We always enjoy our stay! We have never had anything to complain about. Any issues that we identified have been very minor and have been resolved very quickly.
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joel (8/5): Very good - Great location.
Comfy beds.
Tim is super nice.

- Colette (10/5): A traditional bed and breakfast in Niagara on the Lake - great location for walking to historic district. - Cute bed and breakfast, perfect location. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Courtyard is beautiful. Parking is tight.
- Bill (9/5): Superb - Beautiful, quaint building that's so close to downtown..staff was excellent.. clean, Tidy.. a truly enjoyable stay. We will rebook when we come back to NOTL. Not much to talk about.. we didn't see a microwave to reheat food.. and bed was a little firmer than we are used too..
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Nice breakfast, great location for the festival All was fine
- Candice (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - excellent breakfast
- Arndt (8/5): Very good - European style breakfast displaying all the food without a person attending to the guests. No warm breakfast meal offered. The was no personal touch. The location was excellent and the fact that there was EV charging facility.
- Sandy (10/5): Delightful night in Niagara on the Lake. - The location was perfect. Easy to walk to the main streets for shopping and restaurants, as well as a stroll to the lake. Noreen prepared a beautiful breakfast, and was courteous, helpful and accommodating in every way
- Edward (8/5): Very good - The breakfast was terrific, lots to choose from.
Location is ideal
- Thomas (7/5): Good - Mattress was poor
- Heidi (10/5): On our next visit, we'll stay again! Exceptional - The location was perfect for walking downtown and anywhere one wanted to go. The breakfast was delightful and more than enough choices. The gardens and outdoor spaces were exceptional. Doreen is a gem, and her love for the place is evident. Free ice and filtered water along with soft drinks....also free use of wine and beverage glasses.
- John (10/5): It was lovely, we enjoyed every minute - Breakfast food was delicious, fresh and a great variety .
The staff was outstanding, Doreen was so kind, she suggested 2 places to eat nearby and we loved them.the living room with the fireplace was very special.nothing Nothing we can think of
- Marj (9/5): We would love to return next year! - Room was cozy but nice with a lovely balcony. Self serve breakfast buffet had lots of variety. Location was great….we walked everywhere! More mini quiches at breakfast, please. Not even one per guest was put out!

- Mary (10/5): excellent location for the theater - excellent location. friendly staff, good breakfast
- Geoffrey (9/5): Superb -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Breakfast was included in tariff and included a varied selection. The friendly staff are available to give recommendations on activities and dining. The bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent, with an easy walk to main street. We loved our stay. Parking in the back is tight if you have a large vehicle. There is some street parking on a first come, first serve basis. Speak to hosts about your options. They are friendly and approachable.
- Fleur (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly people, beautiful and comfortable home with a delicious breakfast. Love this place and will return next time. Thank you Blairpen house for a most wonderful stay…♥️
- Deirdre (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antonetta (9/5): Lovely place and will check its availability for our next visit. - Doreen was a wonderful host. The location is perfect for visiting NOTL. Our room was very comfortable and despite the rain we were still able to enjoy the balcony as it was covered. This more an FYI, the breakfast was more European continental. Lots of option.
- Robert (9/5): A wonderful place to use a your home base to discover and enjoy what NOTL has to offer. - The hosts were welcoming, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The accommodations were great, the breakfast had a wide variety of foods to meet the preferences of any guest. The Inn was very close to attractions, restaurants and shopping. The Inn also had indoor common rooms and outdoor garden/sitting areas which we took advantage of for our own outdoor lunches.
- Irene (9/5): Superb -
- Dolores (10/5): We had a very nice time. - Location we could walk everywhere we wanted. Everything was just fine
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dan (9/5): Superb -
- Kim (10/5): Comfortable bed and breakfast in a great location. - There are very nice outdoor areas. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast has a variety of items including homemade breads. The location is within walking distance to the Shaw Festival and the downtown shops and restaurants. Close to wineries and a short scenic trip to Niagara Falls.
- Joyce (7/5): Good - Convenient location. Walk to everything. Room was comfortable, linda like the guest room in a relatives home.
- Miller (9/5): Comfortable friendly atmosphere. - The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location were perfect. Access to the room was easy although it required a climb to the second floor. The porch outside the sliding door was a bonus that we used every morning. There also was fresh filtered water available and cold drinks were included. The toilets were from 1950. They were tiny round and low. Since you're likely catering to an older crowd, replace them with comfort height elongated versions. I expected the rooms to be made up each day. They were not unless you asked. The breakfast was nothing to write home about.
- Annick (7/5): Good - Great location, quiet neighbourhood Very basic breakfast, nothing homemade, same every morning
- Marlene (9/5): Superb -
- Lynn (8/5): Would stay there again if the room temperature could be adjusted. - The location was excellent and we could walk to restaurants, shops, local bus, and bike rental. The gardens of the B&B were very nice. The temperature in the room in July was too warm.
- Stephen (9/5): Nice place and would go again - The location close to downtown is very convenient as most things are within walking distance. The access to the parking in the back is a bit narrow but ok for a 4 door sedan. The back garden areas are a wonderful and peaceful sanctuary with tables and chairs for quiet relaxation.. Breakfast is pretty basic but adequate. Doreen and Tim the owner are lovely people. Some of the other guests were very loud at breakfast!
- Estela (10/5): Exceptional - LOCATION. Totally walkable for all we wanted to do in Niagra-on-the-Lake. All good.
