• Thorsten (8/5): Gerne wieder, kann man nur empfehlen. - Tolle Unterkunft, sehr nahe am Zentrum und trotzdem sehr Ruhig. Das Haus steht in zweiter Reihe und besitzt ein eingezäunten Parkplatz.
• Stefanie (10/5): - Sehr gut gelegenes Apartment: mitten im Ort, also alles fußläufig zu erreichen, gleichzeitig sehr ruhig durch die Lage am Ortsrand. Unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Vermieter und seine sehr nette Mutter vor Ort. Ansonsten ist das Apartment mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, v.a. die Klimaanlage war Gold wert 😉
• Jorge (9/5): Casa muy moderna - La ubicacion es muy buena, pero esta detras de otra propiedad, hay que encontrar la casa roja que esta delante y justa detras por la misma puerta esta el alojamiento. Esta todo nuevo y reciente. Hay muchisima humedad en la casa ni el aire acondicionado ni el deshumificador consiguer quitar la humedad de una de las habitaciones, necesita arreglo de las aguas del tejado, igual en verano mejora pero no lo recomiendo para personas con problemas respiratorios.

Très confortable, propre et parfaitement équipé — tout ce dont on a besoin est à disposition. L’hôte est extrêmement gentil et accommodant, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande sans la moindre hésitation.
• general wanderer (9/5): Super clean and comfortable stay - Epic shower, and AC was a treat! The location was nice, tucked away and quiet yet walking distance to tons of restaurants. The bed was a bit firm for us, but still comfortable. Cash-only properties are a hassle. The listing needs to be more clear about the cash-only policy.

Todo muy limpio y cómodo (excepto por las sillas de la cocina, son muy altas y mi familia es bajita) Pídanle a Grace que les comparta su delicioso pastel de yuca!

• Rick (9/5): Great location, great accommodation! - An amazing appartement in the center of La Fortuna. There is a place for 1 car behind a gate and the owner is a sweet lady, but she only speaks Spanish. Her son handels the reservations and talks English. We had a great time here!
• Aisha (10/5): Highly recommended place to stay in La Fortuna. I would stay again. - Location was great, close to downtown but in a quiet area. Maikol and Grace went above and beyond to help me plan my stay in Costa Rica. Maikol arranged transport from the airport and to my next destination. My dog was safe and had a friend to play with. Grace showed me some walks and let me practice my Spanish with her. The bed was comfy and I used the washer and drier. The kitchen is well equipped, it even has a kettle for tea. The place was great and I had everything I needed except the wifi was unpredictable. La Fortuna is very hot so you need the AC on pretty much all the time.
• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay in La Fortuna would not have been the same without Maikol! Maikol and his mom are really nice and welcoming hosts who helped us with everything and set up all the tours and activities for us, which were all very good quality and very good prices aswell. If you're at this apartment, you're definitely in good hands! The apartment itself is located very centrally and in walking distance from everything in La Fortuna. It's very modern and clean and has all the amenities needed for a nice and relaxing stay. Thank you again to Maikol and his mom for everything, we really got to make the most of our trip with you and we would of course recommend staying here to everyone visiting this beautiful town!
• Chu (10/5): Good apartment and nice host - Very close to downtown, kitchen utensils and washing machines, dryer is so great. The price is also very good.
• Catherine (9/5): Great place - Lovely, modern, well equipped apartment, with an amazing shower that had hot water any time of the day. The location is great, few minutes walk from town, very quiet and safe. Seating doesn't work, otherwise it would be a 10/10
• Kenneth (10/5): Fantastic modern apartment in a quiet but practical location and with a very attentive host. - Door lock is via PIN, so no need to carry (and possibly forget) keys. Location is excellent - close to many restaurants and supermarkets, but far enough from the tourist path. There's a private garden area where I was able to work from several mornings to get my sun, amidst the chirping of the birds. Maikol helped me book all of the after-work activities I've done in La Fortuna. He also went above and beyond in ensuring I was satisfied with those activities even though he wasn't the tour operator. The Internet speed varied greatly depending on the time of the day (from 10 Mbps to 200 Mbps), but this is due to the ISP, not something that can be controlled from the apartment. Prepare a Plan B (e.g. mobile data) if speed is a requirement at certain times.
• Hariprasad (10/5): Exceptional - We recently stayed in a two-bedroom apartment in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, and had an exceptional experience. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed and situated very close to downtown, which made accessing the many nearby restaurants a breeze. The host was fantastic, incredibly friendly, and saved us a lot of money by helping with activity bookings. We had a wonderful time and would strongly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

• Anna (8/5): Well-located, clean bungalow - This is a small cottage behind the family's house, in a central, relatively quiet part of La Fortuna (relatively as the town is super touristy and busy in the evenings). We appreciated that everything was pretty much new and very clean, the well functioning AC, the small kitchenette stocked to prepare basic meals, and access to a washing machine. There is parking in front of the house, behind a metal gate. Access to Volcan Arenal and other attractions is within a 15-30 minute drive. Restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and mini markets are all within easy walking distance. We had to buy our own detergent for the washing machine. Kitchen equipment is pretty basic so best suited for small meals and the high-top table in the kitchen is not suitable for younger children or people with mobility limitations. It would have been nice to have a comfortable place to sit - there is only a camping-style foldable two-seater in the main living area.

We had two spacious rooms with a fantastic bathroom and a (rain shower head). The property was located in the center of La Fortuna - walkable, safe and convenient. Our host, Maikol, could not be more helpful, he even assisted in getting us tours and making sure that everything in the apartment was to our liking.

• Alex0892153 (10/5): Exceptional - Brand new modern apartment with everything that you possibly need as a traveller. It is super clean with comfortable beds, fast internet, good Aircon, powerful shower and fully equipped kitchen. The area is safe, quiet and close to the central square. The owner is kind, responsive to all your questions, and helps with booking tours with a discount. Highly recommended.
• Tamiko (10/5): Great stay in downtown La Fortuna - The place was very lovely, updated, and felt very clean! Best location if you want to be close to downtown. We could easily walk to the heart of downtown for dinner and breakfast the next day, while still being on a nice quiet side street. It was also nice to have the small kitchen, which we would have used if we had stayed longer. The owner was very friendly and also offered to help with tours and activities in the area. The owner said he is planning to develop the back yard for a seating area. There isn't much natural area here.

I've stayed here for 4 nights +The apartment is located on a quiet street, and very close to the center of La Fortuna. +Very clean and new apartment (with fridge, coffeemachine, and washing machine). +very good Wifi +AC in both sleeping rooms. +The Host (Maikol) was very friendly and helped me in organizing tours or transports! So whatever I wanted to do, he organized it for me (even with discounts)! +there is no couch in the apartment, but a table with 4 bar chairs :-) I can highly recommend staying here!

• Rotti66 (9/5): Great clean small house - TOP location - The apartment is located in a quiet side street. It is a small cottage - very tastefully decorated and very very clean! Two bedrooms - you have enough space - a washing machine for washing - kitchen has everything you need for the stay - what should be missing the owner is always available. Everything is fresh and new. Since it is still new, the small garden is still being created - but this will certainly be wonderful as the apartment ;-) Hot water very good internet - uncomplicated landlord - always available if questions are - We were there for two nights - and would have easily lasted longer ;-) The car can be safely parked in the area itself (grid protection) we recommend the apartment very happy - doggies are welcome ! You can easily walk to the town - you do not need a car to go shopping or to eat in the restaurant ! nothing - it was top !
• Tcs (10/5): Great hosts and great location! - Very new apartment in extremely convenient location! Really clean and nice look. We only stayed two nights but it was the perfect spot for us! It's still very new so the apartment still needs a few very minor amenities, to make the stay a little more comfortable, but overall the place was GREAT!
