• Barbara (7/5): - Schöne Wellnessanlage. Umweltschutz wird gross geschrieben, was wir durchaus begrüssen. Dann sollten die Tücher aber nicht ausgewechselt werden, wenn sie aufgehängt sind. Beim Abendessen wurden die Nachbarntische abgeräumt, mit einem stinkenden Desinfektionspray besprüht und geputzt. Das war nicht besonders aufmerksam, wenn andere Leute noch am Essen sind.

• Bernhard (8/5): Sehr gutes Essen, wunderbare Spa-Anlage, saubere Zimmer, freundliches Personal - Die gute Küche des Restaurants 1881, der Spa-Bereich und die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Beim Frühstücksbuffet fehlt grösstenteils ein "Spuckschutz".(Zu) viele Gäste tummeln sich eigenartigerweise gleichzeitig am Buffet. Ein eher hektisches, lautes Gewusel herrscht zuweilen in den eher ungemütlich wirkenden Frühstücksräumen. Einige der Gäste niessen und husten in die offen ausgelegten Gefässe und Platten. Eine Kontrolle, ob man als Hotelgast oder als "Externer" frühstückt, ist nicht erkennbar.

• Natasha (7/5): A few problems with room allocation issues but overall a pleasant stay. - Fantastic location, great breakfast, lovely facilities. I was put into a room where the timber walls had very recently been lacquered and the smell was so bad I couldn’t sleep and woke up feeling sick. However, when I brought this to the attention of the hotel reception I was immediately upgraded to a beautiful suite with no smell. However the concierge must have forgotten which room he put me in because another couple burst through the door of the suite, which he had also given them the keys to. That was very awkward!

• AVIAD (7/5): המיקום נחמד , לא הייתי חוזרת במיוחד חסר יחס אישי ללקוחות - המיקום מאוד יפה ומעולה ארוחת בוקר בסדר. קפה טעים.נוף מהמם מהחדר אם כבר באים לא לקחת חדר בייסיק אלא לקחת חדר אחד מעל . לא היה כלום בחדר , לא קומקום לא תה לא כוסות לתה לא צלחות כלום. היו אנשים שהלכו בעירום בסאונה (לא מתאים לי אישית) הבריכה הייתה קרה ולא מחוממת מרגישים שהם פשוט מעדיפים כנראה להשקיע במקומיים ופחות בתיירות ולא באים לקראת הלקוח (באסה)

• Alessandra (8/5): Buon inizio anno a Bad Ischl - Posizione super centrale, struttura ottima e moderna, la spa e la piscina meritano sicuramente una visita. Il personale è stato gentilissimo, in particolare il barman, Daniel, veramente disponibile e professionale. Anche alla reception abbiamo riscontrato moltissima disponibilità, soprattutto quando abbiamo avuto bisogno di avere in prestito le spazzole per togliere la neve dalla macchina. Abbiamo trovato la toilette della stanza poco funzionale. Essenzialmente non c’è divisione con la stanza, addirittura il lavandino è a vista sul letto, il che implica non poterne usufruire senza svegliare l’altra persona. Inoltre, anche il forte odore di legno che abbiamo trovato al nostro arrivo era piuttosto fastidioso.

Der einzige Kritikpunkt waren die für uns zu harten Matratzen. Ansonsten sind die Zimmer sehr schön ausgestattet, zum Wohlfühlen.

• Heather (7/5): Lovely hotel, fantastic breakfast, nice restaurant, not the most comfortable bed, bad shower! - The breakfast here was the best of my 3 week Austria trip. The hotel is well located in Bad Ischl. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, especially the soup. The room was large and well appointed. The bed was probably the least comfortable of all the hotels I stayed in. This being the most expensive place I stayed that was surprising! The worst thing was the shower. I was sooooo looking forward to a nice long shower after walking 16 miles in the rain but the shower was just ridiculous. There was no way to shower without causing a flood in the bathroom. It was a tiny square space which was open to another square space. The floor of the second slopes not back into the shower as it should, but into the bathroom! So disappointing! The room also had a poop shelf toilet which I find gross.

• Judith (5/5): Überteuert & Lieblos - Zimmer schön Leider verlässt man das Hotel mit dem Gefühl, dass es nur um max Profit geht. Angefangen beim Parkplatz der 10€/Nacht kostet - und dann ist nich mal ein Parkplatz vorm Hotel frei, muss herumkurven, in die Rezeption gehen und dann schlussendlich in die Garage stellen - über das Frühstück, wo die Qualität der Lebensmittel unterer Durchschnitt ist, Hauptsache billig und lieblos angerichtet… ein Orangensaft aus dem Automat der mit Sicherheit nie eine Orange gesehen hat und so weiter. Wenn man um 10h frühstückt, ist schon alles leer. Sauna & Co macht erst spät auf und beim Schwimmbecken, „der Spabereich“ wie es im Hotel genannt wird, war es zu kalt um entspannt zu sitzen…Bademäntel abgenützt. Ja so leider in Summe sehr enttäuschend. Auch weil es ja nicht ganz günstig ist und eigentlich von der Anlage her ein wirklich tolles Hotel sein könnte!

Die Kombination aus historischem Charme und modernem Komfort ist hervorragend gelungen. ​Der Vital-Spa-Bereich ist großzügig, sehr sauber und bietet mit Pool, Saunen und Ruheräumen pure Entspannung. ​Auch die Kulinarik war exzellent – sowohl das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet als auch das Abendmenü waren ein Genuss. ​Die zentrale, aber ruhige Lage und das überaus freundliche und professionelle Personal runden das perfekte Erlebnis ab. ​Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen!
• Wolfgang (8/5): Eine kleine Kaffeemaschine auf den Zimmern hätte den Aufenthalt noch aufgewertet. - Service und Personal waren sehr zuvorkommend! Das Bett war super groß aber absolut zu fest. Matratze war nur für Schwergewichte ausgelegt.
