• Sun (10/5): Great comfortable stay in Hanoi okd quarter - We stayed at Casa Valentina for 4 nights in 2 rooms. The location is excellent within Hanoi's old quarter. Easy walking distance to train street, shops, and eateries - including several places made popular by YouTubers. No problems getting Grab or Green SM rides from here - but you may need to wait a few minutes. We particularly enjoyed the street view through the large window - interesting and entertaining. Very comfortable bed - on the firmer side, which is what we prefer. No issues with water pressure or hot water (but note there is a hot water switch, which might not have been communicated). Very clean units. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked again for another 3 nights, for when we return from HaLong Bay & Ninh Binh.

• Marie-pierre (9/5): - Elina and all the staff were great and offered excellent service throughout our stay. It is a small hotel without unnecessary fuss, but very well maintained with a really good vibe. The breakfast is not extensive, but everything you need is there, and it is fresh and good. The hotel offers great value for the price, and the location is excellent. I would definitely recommend it. Side note: some rooms at the back of the building do not have large windows. If having a big window with a street view is important to you, make sure to select the room accordingly when booking. Both types of rooms are nice, but it is something worth paying attention to depending on your preference.

Staff excellent as well - esp Jimmy, the manager. days before the trip he confirmed our stay, asked about the time we’ll arrive, and made sure to meet us at the door to help with the luggage. He also helped arrange an hour of late check out, and he made our stay seamless. I wonder how many hours the guy works… here’s there in the evening, there in the morning.. he’s ever present. I’m just nitpicking at this point but the washroom becomes a wet room everytime you shower… the glass pane is just a pane. Not a door. So water seeps around the toilet area. No robes too. And if you’re three people check the number of slippers bec when we arrived it’s just 2 pieces. Also make sure to bring cash bec if u use card there’s a terminal fee - i think 5%? But it’s for convenience so it’s fine.

I would highly recommend! - The staff at the property was super friendly especially Jimmy who messaged me before my arrival, assisted with my tour that I booked through the hotel to Ha Long Bay (btw Amanda Cruise was the most fun cruise ever!), and made my stay very enjoyable. On my first day they greeted me with a generous plate of fresh fruits and juice, and my room had flower petals around which was beautiful. Nothing that I didn’t like.

Breakfast was good - a few dishes plus eggs/omelette cooked to order. Fresh fruit and pastries. Room was good size, we had a tiny window, but it meant the room was pretty quiet. Bathroom was small but nice shower. Bed and pillows quite comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff.

Outstanding - Whilst the property location, cleanliness, breakfast, and overall facilities were all very good, we did experience some noise issues on the first night due to a party next door. However, we still rated the property as exceptional for one reason: the hotel manager, Jimmy. He is an absolute superstar. His attention to detail and communication before, during, and even after our stay at Casa V were truly outstanding. Jimmy is the reason Casa V works so well. We’ve been travelling full-time for the past few years, and Jimmy is one of the nicest, most considerate, and genuinely helpful people we’ve met. Casa V is very lucky to have him. Thanks again, Jimmy — we hope to see you again soon. A little noise from property next door sometimes.

• Cheryl (10/5): Great room, great service, great breakfast, great location, great tours - Casa Valentina Hotel won us over before we'd even checked in. Upon drop off, our airport driver didn’t have change for our larger bill. Jimmy, the hotel's Customer Service Manager, stepped in without missing a beat: settled the fare electronically and added it to our bill. Graceful, efficient, done. That set the tone for everything that followed. Jimmy checked us in with warmth and ease, offered fruit while he worked through the paperwork, and walked us through the hotel's Halong Bay excursion options (beautiful!) before personally escorting us to our room — where flower petals were arranged in the sink and orchids were laid out beautifully on the bed. A lovely touch. The Otis Premium Tour for Halong Bay ended up being luxury and efficiency start to finish. We were thrilled with our choice and glad we waited until arriving in Hanoi to book it rather than doing so in advance. Throughout our stay, Jimmy was simply exceptional. Need ice? It's at your door. Have a question? He's already there. When our safe malfunctioned, he had a solution within minutes. There was another gentleman at the front desk who was also genuinely good — but Jimmy was the clear standout. Our one concern: he appeared to always be there. Someone should make sure this man gets days off. You don't want to lose someone that good to burnout. Casa Valentina — don't lose Jimmy! The room was beautiful, the same-day laundry service was incredibly inexpensive and effortless, and breakfast was outstanding — fresh fruit, juices, light pastries, and a full spread of hot Asian and Western options, plus made-to-order eggs and other options. The location is ideal for exploring on foot. A great liquor store sits two buildings down, the wonderful TEP Restaurant is right next door, and the famous Bánh Cuốn Gia Truyền is just one block away. Great room, great service, great breakfast, great location, great tours. The only minor hiccup was the live TV service, which wasn't working during our stay — but the streaming services were a perfectly fine alternative, and honestly, we barely noticed.

• Adam (8/5): Great value hotel in Hà Nội - Really nice hotel and great value for money. I wasn’t here long enough to give a full and proper review having only stayed one night. But I did stay in another hotel for 2 nights before doing the Ha Long Bay cruise and it was so noisy. My room was super quiet and really spacious, which is surprising as the hotel is only small from the lobby. It was nice and clean too. And the staff again were really friendly and helpful

A little bit noisy at times with the bikes honking but earplugs will help. The shower floods near the toilet. The breakfast buffet was a little awkward right outside the lifts. • Khang (10/5): - Best hotel I stayed at during my trip in Vietnam. Conveniently located near the old quarter, this hotel had all the amenities for a great stay. Clean and spacious room/bathroom. The service from the reception and hotel staff was amazing, always friendly and smiling. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

• Jibin Mathew George (8/5): Comfortable stay at Casa Valentina - Loved how comfortable we all were during our stay. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean and airy. Really couldn't ask for more. Location was great too. Right at the heart of the Old Quarter and well connected to most of the good places in the city. Limited breakfast options. Also didn't like how it was set up near the reception by the door. I wouldn't want anyone to walk into the hotel and see my chew on a cream puff. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, comms weren't always very easy.
• Ahmad (10/5): Excellent séjour - Jimmy, Ellina et Thomas ont fait preuve d’une gentillesse et d’un professionnalisme remarquables. Ils se sont investis pleinement pour que notre séjour à Hanoï se déroule parfaitement. Ils se sont occupés de toutes les réservations, notamment pour la baie d’Halong et Ninh Binh, et ont également géré la réservation de notre bus de nuit pour Sapa, ce qui nous a grandement facilité la vie. Toujours attentionnés et disponibles, ils ont été aux petits soins du début à la fin. Je recommande vivement.

• roderick (10/5): - Everything. Best hotel I've had in Hanoi, super clean, amazing service from the minute we arrived. Stayed in many hotels across Vietnam, for price this was far the best. Service Manager Jimmy was brilliant!!!!!! Nothing, perfect stay!!!!!!
• Martin (8/5): Ordentlich - Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich, und das Hotel insgesamt machte einen sehr sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Die Lage vom Hotel ist gut und man ist sehr schnell fußläufig im Zentrum. Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut in unserem Zimmer, und der Lärm von der Straße war auch deutlich zu hören, trotz geschlossener Fenster. Auch die Auswahl beim Frühstück war sehr begrenzt, an einem Tag gab es noch nicht mal Kaffee.

• Anke (10/5): Great hotel, friendly service, centrally located. - We can really highly recommend the Casa Valentina Hanoi Hotel! Jimmy, the manager, and his staff are extremely attentive and very, very friendly. Every question we had was always answered straight away. The hotel is very centrally located: it’s a 10-minute walk to Train Street and a 15-minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. You can get to the Old Quarter, with its great photo opportunities, even quicker. We had booked a family room, which was really very spacious with a huge window and a small balcony, though we didn’t use it due to the high temperatures. The double bed was huge at 2 metres wide and really very comfortable. Everything looked very new and stylishly furnished. Breakfast included plenty of fruit; we particularly loved the passion fruit. But there was also everything else you could possibly want. We can highly recommend the hotel and award it 10 points.

• Chook1000 (10/5): EXCELLENT, amazing value, and the very BEST staff. - I cannot fault this place. The staff were AMAZING, the hotel was so clean. We didn't have a view, but we really only slept there. Value for money!! Breakfast was excellent but seriously the staff were incredibly friendly & so helpful in every way. Nothing it was GREAT
