Guest Reviews
- Kristine (1/5): - The smell of the place, the infestation of ants and cockroaches. The wifi never worked and the batteries in the tv and aircon did not work either. There was also one at reception to talk to about any of it.
- Fiona (9/5): -
- CHAMBRIARD (10/5): - L'appartement est très bien. nous sommes très satisfait. Les explications pour trouver les clefs étaient insuffisantes ou mal faites. un petit plus aurait ete d'avoir des serviettes de piscine en plus.
- Paula (8/5): -
- Irena (9/5): -
- Christian (9/5): Lovely stay in spacious apartment just minutes from beach and Byron centre - Spacious and great location
Clean and comfortable
- Elena (8/5): Bien para ir con niños - Muy familiar , muy cerca del town Decoración antigua ,
- Douse (7/5): Generally fantastic - Lovely, good value Rubbish under the beds from previous guests
- Ekaterina (3/5): Will not stay again. - Location (only 6 min walk from the shops and main beach). We stayed in this hotel 2 years ago in a 3BD apartment on the top level, it was good.
This time we regretted to stay here. It was terrible smell of the dump place (we stayed in a 2-BD apartment which is on the ground floor - all of them).
The sink didn’t drain water properly. Cleanliness is questionable - lots of dust rolling, dead cockroach on the floor. The room with single beds doesn’t have sockets (can’t conveniently charge the phone).
I didn’t take many pictures to show (sadly).
- Tom (10/5): -
- Julia (7/5): -
- Jody (10/5): Fabulous!!! - Location was perfect. We walked everywhere, car was safely parked. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and the facilities were everything we needed. Would highly recommend. Price was so reasonable compared to other places. Great communication. n/a
- Alexis (5/5): - Place was quite dirty. Bathrooms/kitchen surfaces were only just wiped and not clean. Between the sink/glass was filthy.
Loft window covered in spider webs/mould.
Little bugs crawling over all surfaces.
Blinds/curtain rail were covered in dust
Overall cleanliness could have been alot better. Quite disappointing as it wasnt cheap for a family of 5.
- Lesley (8/5): Loved Byron Bay , nice apartment - loved our holiday - Nice apartment with everything we needed right next to the pool
Comfortable , good facilities - washing machine/ dryer etc.
The Byron Bay book was very informative. We luckily met the cleaner to acquire keys from next door reception - we did not take early check in option - arrived early as were given indication that office was attended until 3-4pm which it wasn’t.
The range hood filter was dirty - dripping oil - we needed to clean it when we used for the first time
- Schmidt (10/5): Relaxing - Location, design , facilities, pricing etc.
- Mari (7/5): - Walking access to the beach has been cutoff due to construction.
- DEBORAH (7/5): - Location Bathroom
- brooke (9/5): Great! - Great location to Byron and nice rooms. There was a bug in the sheets and it didn’t feel super clean at times. Water leaked outside on our feet while sitting at the table and the AC didn’t always cool the other rooms
- Wessel (9/5): -
- Julie (8/5): We had a lovely stay here all was good - Spacious place and nice lay out A few coachroaches about!
- Alethea (9/5): -
- Jennifer (6/5): Loved the apartment itself and the location - needs pest control - Loved the location, size of the apartment and the layout was lovely. Comfortable beds and couches. So many cockroaches. Was given a mortein can to sort it out however they just kept coming. Looks like it needs pest control as we found so many every day.
Minimal supplies - had to purchase most of own toilet paper and there was no laundry detergent for washing clothes.

- Ciara (10/5): Excellent location & accommodation for a few nights in Byron. - The apartment was an excellent size. The beds were extremely comfy. The host sent me details to my mobile phone, which were extremely easy to access. The location was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here. The service and WiFi were quite poor.
- Jacqueline (8/5): We were generally happy but may not stay there again - Location I felt the lounge was a bit old and dirty. The cushions on the lounge were a bit smelly. Didn’t feel like I wanted to sit on the lounge. Overall the property was fine, just felt like the photos I saw online didn’t really match up to what we got
- Anastasia (10/5): -
- Franco (10/5): - Close to everything
- Tracey (5/5): Wouldn’t stay here again - for $1k a night I expect a higher standard. - Short walk to town The beds were very uncomfortable. Shower dripped loudly all night. Wifi hardly worked.

- Amaraa (10/5): -
- Michael (5/5): Good location not worth the cost - Location was good Open milk container and half a drink in the fridge when we arrived. Lounges unclean. Felt as though minimum done with property to maximise profits.

- Mitchell-Lee (10/5): A wonderful getaway with family - Great location and facilities Nothing
- Sandra (9/5): Overall, it was a great experience. - The location was excellent and the lay-out of the apartment was good and spacious. The floors need a good cleaning and the washroom shower and sink require some plumbing work.
- Bernadette (8/5): We were there for a family wedding, the location was ideal and the apartment suited our needs. - The location and facilities No book with general information about the use of the apartment or the town of Byron. the bathrooms could have a cool light in stead of warm light
As not good for applying makeup.
- lisa mccoll (7/5): - Location 7 min walk to main st Room had a few little issues no starter items tea coffee milk dish washing liquid
Rooms need to be checked thoroughly before check ins

- Josephine (8/5): -
- Christy (9/5): Great location and great spacious apartment. - Location was great and the apartment was spacious! Limited cups in the kitchen.
- Charles (8/5): -
- Catherine (7/5): - It was a good size unit and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The decor was dated and needed some maintenance. The shower head dripped incessantly.
- susan (8/5): Excellent stay - It was very spacious and very well equipped. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was also very close to all the shops and beach. Overall we were very pleased and comfortable in our stay.
- Bethea (5/5): -
- Lynette (10/5): We loved the apartment and the location and facilities there, we will definitely be back - Location and nice apartment The only complaint would be the tv played up a bit, and the kettle kept shorting the power, I rang for a new kettle and it never came,

- Craig (7/5): -
- Russell (9/5): -
- Silvia (8/5): -
- Matilda (10/5): Amazing experience and great value - In a great location with spacious and beautiful rooms for very good value :)
- Susie (8/5): 4 adults and a 1 year old. - Pool lovely, BBQ excellent, comfy beds and pillows and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Nice bathrooms and plenty of easy parking. Good location. Lovely stay. Kitchen could have been a bit cleaner as splash back behind stove top was greasy. Curtains in the front bedroom had a tear and missing hooks.
- Krystal (8/5): We enjoyed it and I would book there again. - Nice and close to town. Spacious enough for all of us Nothing
- Edwards (10/5): -
- Lindy (8/5): -
- April (10/5): Fabulous family getaway - Location, price, facilities and decore! We loved our stay and will be back Nothing to complain about
- John (7/5): - Location Dates and no reception available. With a few cockroaches in the apartment, it could do with some pest control…
- Stevie-Leigh (9/5): Great location to city centre - We were given clear instructions on how to locate and access these keys along with what to do when leaving the property. The only issue was no dishwashing tablets to turn on when leaving very minor issue.
- Jodi (8/5): Very good -
- Joy (5/5): Practical but tired apartment - Spacious and easy walk to town Fairly run down, with rusting gutters dropping onto the deck, sparsely equipped kitchen, no bath or tea/coffee as advertised.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Botha (7/5): Good -
- Corry (9/5): Wonderful - Great location, walk distance from Main Street. Neat, tidy, well setup. All good except needed extra spare blankets on hand, was quite cold when we visited
- Scott (1/5): Bad -
- Lewis (8/5): Very good -
- Kaitlyn (10/5): Exceptional - Great size apartment with everything we needed.
Very clean and good facilities. Close to the centre of Byron, short walk away.
We enjoyed our stay.
- Isabel (5/5): Passable - The place was pretty central and the pool was great. The cleanliness particularly in the kitchen was quite a let down. The oven was dirty and the area near the stove greasy. We also found 3 cockroaches during our 4 day stay, which wasn't a very pleasant experience.
- Dee (7/5): This apartment has the potential to be excellent if it were freshened up. Needs some love - The properties location is excellent and pool fantastic and beds very comfortable While it was quite clean there was a very stale smell. All the curtains were dirty, coming off the tracks and old. Carpet and rugs need freshening up ( replacing) and the floor was sticky. Minimal power points making it difficult to utilize appliances.
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Greg (1/5): Disgusted by the owners attitude to fairness. - Byron Bay was closed down I would discourage anyone from staying here. A tropical cyclone warning to evacuate the town was issued. We evacuated after one night of a four night stay however the owners denied any refund of the remaining booking. They refused requests from us, Booking.com or the Dept of Fair Trading. They blatantly profited from a natural disaster by telling the Dept of Fair Trading that "the weather had minimal impact on Byron Bay and their policy doesn't allow refund for weather-related disappointments.". We were booked in at Yamba after Byron and they did the morally right thing and refunded us immediately.
Do not support people who are morally bankrupt!
- Lyra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanya (8/5): Good for families - Big spacious area. Comfortable couches and beds The cleanliness was quite poor for luxury apartments. Cobwebs in the bedroom and mould in the bathroom
- Alicea (7/5): Good - Well located, nice house. Staff allowed us to have a late check out. No coffee, tea or sugar was left. When we asked twice for this, they forgot to bring it.
- Matthew (9/5): Great weekender - Awesome spot and clean Nothing
- Angela (9/5): Superb -
- Alyssa (5/5): ideal location. - Great location and lots of natural light. Internet was poor - we couldn't connect to any streaming services or use my laptop for work. Cleanliness was an issue. There was yellow stains in bath, mould in cupboards and light switches, mould in fabric of the couches, a broken dishwasher handle, broken ice tray which had frozen ice through freezer that hadn't been cleaned out prior to arrival. Some of the utensils were mouldy and had food on them still and some plastic handles were melted from prior misuse on the induction cooker possibly. The dishwasher filter was full of food on arrival but we couldn't use the dishwasher properly anyhow because of the broken handle. We also only had 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 nights for 4 people, we also were not provided with enough dish soap, laundry liquid or bin liners.
- Julie (7/5): Great location, easy walk into town. - Easy walk into Byron Bay town. The complex was very quiet. Off street parking available and everything worked. We were five people attending Bluesfest so a second set of keys would have been helpful. Only one hand towel in the main bathhroom for 5 nights - we could have used at least one more. There were some ants in the main bathroom and in the downstairs bedrooms. It would have been useful to know that the 3rd loft style bedroom was not fully enclosed - we had to keep the rest of the apartment dark and quiet until the last person got up in the mornings.
- Gabrielle (6/5): Ok - The lock box was fine to navigate, I just wish it was kept at the location of the motel, and not at the one next door, as it was confusing. We accidentally entered into the garage of the neighbouring motel, as the key unlocked the garage, so we went in and I followed up the stairs to what I thought was our room. The key I had opened the door to that (incorrect) motel room. There were already people in the room and they were just as startled as I was. The staff member helped show us to our property next door. It made me worried that the people at the neighbouring motel could access our motel room.
I also wish some areas in the room were cleaner. There were some stains on the wall near the head of my bed. I cleaned them myself to feel better about sleeping there. I think the room may need an in-depth clean, especially the shower.
- Darryl (4/5): Disappointing - Oven was dirty, Bedside light did not work, Fridge had broken and missing shelves. Only 1 dishwasher tab supplied for 4 day stay. at a cost of over $750 per night the owner should be spending more on maintenance.
- Chantelle (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Samantha (9/5): Great location, spacious apartment, sunny balcony - Location was awesome, the apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for a family of 6. Plenty of parking. Didn’t love the open mezzanine master bedroom purely as it was loud downstairs if you went to bed earlier than everyone, wanted a nap in peace, or wanted a sleep in. I would stay again, but this was the only thing about be property that was a little negative.
- Mònica (10/5): Exceptional - Really good location and super nice apartment, the facilities and communication with the host were great.
- Silkyapple (5/5): Pleasant but not again - The size of the apartment was great and would be fine with a small family or 2 adults and 2 children also. We were just one parent and one child (16) who needs their own space. The walk into town was fine, about 10mins to get you in the heart of town, so even though we had a car we didn’t need to use it all the time. The Pool even though it is small wasn’t busy when we wanted to use it. The outside area at the front and also rear catered for weather, sunshine or wind, so we could choose either depending. Always great to have a washing machine and dryer while away. Air con worked great and also fans were used. Showers were always hot and great pressure. We were told to collect keys from a lock box which is fine we do this often with apartment style accommodation. We just received the key with a simple letter. Once inside I noticed firstly the state of the bath! We were not given a heads up that the bath was severely stained making it look ghastly and dirty even! The plates and some cutlery in the cupboard and drawers respectively were greasy and dirty. The dishwasher leaked. The main bed mattress is old and needs replacing. Luckily as I was only in it alone I could sleep on the side furthest from the door which didn’t “sink” down. There was no dustpan only a brush, no mop if you wanted to do the floor. No changes of bed linen or towels for a week, no extra rubbish bags. It was very basic and there has not been a thorough check of kitchen items it is either too many or not enough! I guess it is almost the end of the ‘season’ being Easter so guess this is why it was all very tired.
