Guest Reviews
- Narelle (10/5): Perfect Girls Getaway - It was central to everything and such a beautiful cosy home.
- Sara (8/5): Great accomodation would stay here again. - House was cosy and clean.
- Lyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (9/5): Terrific week. We will definitely come back to Queenscliffe it’s one of our favourite spots. Definitely would stay here - Fantastic location and having the 3 bedrooms was terrific. Great oven and BBQ to keep everyone happy. The owner was very friendly to deal with and answered any questions we had quickly. Easy to access the house and work out the appliances. Outdoor shower was a bonus after time at the beach. Kids loved having the smart tv to relax at night. Beds are comfortable and the A/C worked really well throughout to cool the house on the hot days we were here. The house has lots of character.
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (5/5): Passable - Great location. No wifi working and bath not working (although host claims it was but did not reply to two messages requesting assistance during the stay).
The property also had no door handles to the bathroom or backyard.
- Jeff (6/5): Adequate, but a number of short comings. - Good location. Quiet but close to everything. Plenty of space. Host communication was poor. Information had to be dragged out of the host, even the check in/out details, which turned out not to be as advertised. Wifi was advertised but it had no internet connection and was turned off when we arrived. Private parking was advertised but not in practice available. Only one chair in the whole house (there were benches and sofas). Only one bedroom had somewhere to hang up your clothes. One bedroom had no clothes storage at all. No door on the bathroom even though shared by three bedrooms.
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maxine (10/5): Great location, cute cottage. - Location was perfect. A short walk to the shops and train station.
- David (8/5): Great spot to relax and easy along to all of Queenscliff - Great location, clean and tidy, presented well N/A
- Adele (9/5): Relaxing and fun weekend with friends - So cute and cosy - 2 living areas
Excellent bedding
- Natalie (8/5): Very good -
- Christian (10/5): Cute little cottage - The kids loved the spa There were no face washers or sugar
- Sean (8/5): Thanks for a relaxing stay and great communication. I would recommend the home to others. - Great location and easy access! I would recommend some additional blankets for the colder months.
- Joanie (7/5): Shower/ Bathing is not appropriate for people with mobility issues re: disability or frail aged. - Love this cottage, its location, the bedrooms, kitchen, and lounge & large dining area. The latter is great for sharing a meal with friends. The bathroom - no privacy as no door. You can see someone showering, even via laundry window from the dining area. Also, I travelled with an 86 year old friend who couldn't access shower facility, as shower in the bath, and bath, not level even flooring. Not suited to people with mobility concerns as inaccessible. Risk of falls.
- Anna (9/5): Superb - Everything! We didn’t have power for a while and then it just didn’t work for ceiling lights but host was really nice about it all. We ended up with some power from lamps and it was fine. Host reimbursed us a small amount for our troubles.
- Baiju (9/5): Superb -
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanie (8/5): Very good - Location excellent, short walk to township and cafes
- Brad (8/5): Very comfortable and great convenient spot. - Great location- very comfortable beds and very clean. A little concerned with friends and use of shower with no door. If the door was shut the toilet was then difficult to use by others. Also for longer term problems water from the kitchen bench runs to the wall and no seal - may create alot of maintenance later.
- Jesse (9/5): Superb -
- Belinda (10/5): The little break could only have been made better if it was longer! - The house was beautifully clean and suited our needs perfectly. We had everything we needed and it was all really good quality - bedding and towels especially. The instructions for how to enter the property and use wifi were clear and easy to follow. The house itself is lovely. Beautifully presented and lots of interesting things to look at. I have no criticism at all.
- Kayleigh (10/5): We will definitely be staying here again! - It was cute and quaint. Clean and homely. Nothing
- Jennifer (10/5): Roomy, bright and well located. A really lovely place to spend some time. - A perfect Queenscliff holiday at a perfect Queenscliff cottage.
- Luisa (9/5): The house was very cosy and comfortable with a fabulous location close to the centre of town! -
- Devon (10/5): Perfect location, beautiful accommodation and a wonderful host. We will be back! - This property is beautiful - Well appointed, with a lovely, light filled open plan meals and dining area and a small but adequate outdoor area which is perfect for barbecues. The bed in the second bedroom was not terribly comfortable, but apart from that, this property was perfect.
- Joanie (10/5): Exceptional - The layout of the cottage is very home-like, with rustic features that suit the period of the house. Family shared a Christmas lunch, which catered beautifully for 5 people. I'll be back. Close walk to Queenscliff town centre & Queenscliff Pier.
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Great location.
Great value
Very well appointed and comfortable.
Thank you very much.
- Jodie (9/5): A great location and lovely house which would work well for families. - Location was excellent and the space was much bigger than it looked on the photos. There was obvious renovations going on in the bathroom, but not having a lock on the door to enter the room outside or a door on the bathroom meant there was little privacy. Needed a little more cutlery.
- Bruce (8/5): Very good -
- Jane (8/5): Lovely place - Location great
- Merryl (7/5): Good -
- Phil (9/5): Superb -
