Tout est fait pour se sentir bien et chez soi, Debbie est adorable, souriante, très gentille et aux petits soins pour ses hôtes, il faut dire qu'elle possède un atout phare à 4 pattes !! Merci encore à toi Debbie d'avoir rendu ce court séjour vraiment très sympathique. Nous recommandons grandement !

Perfecto si deseas pasar unos días caminando por esas cumbres y barrancos o si prefieres descansar y desconectar.

• Vytautas (10/5): - The apartment was very spacious and clean with a wonderful view through the window. In the morning, you can welcome the rising sun. The host was very friendly, helpful, and attentive and her dog was also very friendly and eager to play. For breakfast, the host had left a wide variety of products in the kitchen. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and utensils. It was the best place we stayed at in Gran Canaria.

Debbie also prepared an evening meal and a cooked breakfast for me Debbie has put in a lot of thought and effort to make Casa Azul special Nothing I can think of
• Petra (10/5): Geweldig - Alles ! De locatie is prachtig en dichtbij o.a roque Nublo, roque Bentayga en Pico de las Nieves. De gastvrouw is super aardig. Je voelt je gelijk welkom. Ze maakt heerlijke maaltijden klaar en heeft tips over mooie plaatsen of stadjes in de buurt. S’ochtends staat Cassie ( de hond ) al voor het raam te wachten op een knuffel. En even met de bal spelen, daar kom je echt niet onderuit 😂 En het bed slaapt echt heel lekker. Nvt

La possibilité de manger le soir dans le logement sans avoir à ressortir était aussi très appréciable. Si vous voulez un endroit au calme et en montagne, loin du tourisme, c'est ici qu'il faut vous arrêter 😁. Il y a tout pour se sentir comme à la maison 😊 Le logement est idéalement situé pour se promener sur tejeda, roque el nublo, pico de las nieves....

• Daniela (9/5): - We had a very good stay!! The apartment is even bigger than we expected, in a nice and very calm location. It was clean and well equipped, the bed was super comfortable and had a very soft and warm cover which was more than enough for cooler temperatures (as well as the heaters available in the apartment). Debbie was a very friendly hostess, always ready to help and checking that everything was ok. All in all, we can definitely recommend this place! As minor details we would mention that the pots in the kitchen have signs of not proper use (scratched Teflon coating), but Debbie was so kind to provide us with an alternative when we asked. It is also worth noting that driving the car into the property can be a little challenging for not experienced drivers (as it is quite steep and narrow) but there are also alternatives to this (parking just a bit further away) and Debbie was always ready to help with that as well, so it was no problem for us.

Great hiking from the apartment and not so touristy. - Well stocked apartment with things like shampoo, toothpaste, salt, pepper, coffee, milk, beer and a bottle of wine. Cereal and milk for breakfast was fine. Very nice host. The kitchen is missing a fan so the fire alarm went off a couple of times. Otherwise everything was great.

She also brought us to the start of our hike upon departure, at no extra cost. The dog is the most adorable wake up crew, always wanting to play catch and throw. No bars/restaurants at walking distance (but Debbie made great dinner and breakfast)
• Rich (10/5): A great experience at Casa Azul - We just had a first class stay at Casa Azul! Great accommodation, immaculately clean, stunning views and in a quiet area . The apartment is decorated to a very high standard and is self contained with everything you need for a mountain stay. Debbie is an excellent host (alongside Cassie for additional customer relations!). Nothing is too much trouble and we definitely recommend her tasty meals. We highly recommend this accomodation for a peaceful stay in somewhere a bit different, out of the hustle and bustle of the coastal resorts and very close the the most picturesque parts of the island. Nothing.

I think they are happy to keep her away from your area if you don't. No other dogs allowed, which seems very sensible to me.

Centrally located on the island, it offers the best of both worlds – in just a short drive you can explore the sea or head up into the mountains, making every day a new adventure. Each morning starts with a delicious homemade breakfast, featuring fresh products straight from Debbie and Carl’s own garden – a real treat that gives you the energy for your day trips. In the evenings, after exploring, we loved relaxing in the beautiful courtyard with its stunning valley views, playing fetch with Cassie the dog, and enjoying warm conversations with the wonderful hosts. Debbie and Carl are truly special people who have put their heart into every corner of Casa Azul, and it shows. The place is spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything you might need. We felt completely at home and can’t wait to come back! If you want an authentic experience, we highly recommend staying at least 3–4 nights – you’ll fall in love with this place just like we did. -

Une bonne bouteille de vin est offerte ainsi que des bières. Le petit déjeuner est amplement suffisant avec des oeufs frais provenant de ses poules ainsi que des confitures maisons, un vrai régal. Getting the car down their drive is a bit tricky but just follow instructions and after the first time it's ok.

Son chien Cassie, bien qu'impressionnant, est vraiment très gentil et ne demande qu'à jouer. Debbie a placé dans le réfrigérateur tout ce qu'il faut pour bien déjeuner le matin, y compris des oeufs des poules de la maison, c'est une très gentille attention. Rien.

No faltaba ni un detalle, lo que hizo que el tiempo que pasamos allí nos sintiéramos realmente a gusto. Recomendable al máximo para pasar unos días de desconexión. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming— in fridge she left us delicious breakfast with fresh eggs from her own chickens, homemade jam and orange juice from the orange tree in her backyard. Such thoughtful touches made the stay feel truly special. The location is great for nature lovers—just a 15-minute drive from Tejeda, with plenty of beautiful hiking trails in the surrounding area. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and comfort in the mountains. Very good value for money.

• Jessica (9/5): Exactly what we expected from the images and reviews. - The hosts were superb and friendly, they were around which felt very welcoming. We arrived late after a disaster with Gold Car Hire and they helped us make some food that evening offering us eggs from their chickens and home grown potatoes. The apartment was comfortable, well stocked with kitchen equipment and the basics for cooking which makes everything easier. There were a range of cereals, toast and delicious home made marmalades, fresh oranges from the tree to make juice. We couldn't be happier with our stay. We would have loved to stay longer, however unfortunately it was booked out. Lovely views of the sun rise and moon rise.
• Amahl (10/5): A fantastic place to stay with the perfect host - This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed and much of that is down to Debbie being the perfect host. She was incredibly kind, helpful and friendly, providing home cooked meals when we needed them, produce from the garden, recommendations on places to go and much more besides. The property itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with very good beds and a hot, powerful shower. The kitchen is well equipped and thoughtfully stocked. The location is perfect for hiking in the mountains and indeed for exploring the whole island. There is a shop / bar less than two minutes walk away, a very good supermarket about 20 minutes drive away and several restaurants within 15 to 20 minutes drive. It is beautifully quiet and peaceful. We had a fantastic stay and hope to stay again next time we visit Gran Canaria. Nothing

• Rebecca (10/5): Warm welcome for a comfortable stay - A lot of effort has been put in to make this a comfortable and well equipped place to stay. Excellent location for exploring the mountains and a very warm welcome from Debbie. The kitchen had home grown oranges and homemade marmalade (delicious!) as well as plenty of other provisions provided, which was unexpected and generous. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and Debbie was very obliging as regards cooking meals, which was welcome as it’s in a rural setting and we decided not to go back out again in the evening.

In the accommodation, everything worked flawlessly, enough equipment in the kitchen, all utensils for cooking, washing dishes. Soap, shampoo, shower gel in the bathroom... The apartment is new in a renovated older stone house. There is enough space in the apartment for a family of 4. The accommodation is on the ground floor, the owners live above you. The owners are friendly and caring. They have 2 friendly dogs. You can also use a hot massage bath. I recommend the accommodation to couples who want peace and relaxation.

The hosts will fulfill all your wishes. Every day a Canarian specialty for dinner. Smidane English. Two very nice dogs. They greet you at the door every morning. Who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and big resorts, this is the right place to relax and wander around the mountains 🤗 Only one small thing concerns the double bed, it was smaller and those who are used to turning often in bed, always somehow push the other away.

• Eric (10/5): SUPER stay at the CASA AZUL! - EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!! We arrived a little late, but the app-contact with the host was very good, she told us how to drive to the casa and asked us if we wanted to have something to eat. That was SUPER!! The offer was super nice, because alle the restaurants were closed, but it was super... because of the food. Debby gave us al delicious canarian meal... no restaurant can do that better!!! Every morning the hosts an d the nice dogs (Cassie en Blue) came to say hello and then we went to walk in the mountains. There are a lot of nice walks to do in de neighbourhood. And it's a short ride to Pico the las Nieves an Roque Nublo. Nothing was bad. This is a good place to go on holidays in the mountains of Gran Canaria
• Nicholas (10/5): Cosy mountain retreat! - This is a great base for a mountain retreat! Casa Azul is an expertly renovated self catering apartment with the ingredients for breakfast provided. The home grown oranges were great - juice doesn’t come more freshly squeezed! Debbie went more than the extra mile to make us feel welcome despite the inclement weather - this included supplying us with a delicious home cooked evening meal on arrival. Come prepared for the mountain climate!

You will sleep like a log here. It is totally quiet. Many restaurants within driving range. At 1200m altitude, the nights are chilly, so be prepared!
• James (9/5): Superb - The hosts Debbie & Carl along with their friendly dogs Cassie & Bleu gave us a very warm welcome to the apartment which was perfect for our short stay. It was warm, cosy, very clean and well equipped with a good selection of breakfast food- including fresh eggs from their chickens and oranges from their orchard!The apartment is well located for exploring the area, especially if you want to climb up to Pico de las Nieves, the impressive Roque Nublo or visit the surrounding villages such as Tejeda. Debbie & Carl were very helpful with advice on places to visit and I would highly recommend Casa Azul for a short break in the mountains!
• Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - The communication with hosts was excellent, both before the arrival and during late-night check-in, we got all the necessary guiding for late arrival at night. Everything was OK. This is an excellent location for hiking in the Cruz de Tejeda and surrounding region. There is a good parking place and a bus stop close to the house. We observed that lodging close to the popular spots, like Roque Nublo, is an important advantage, since we were able to reach them and park before the parking place is swamped by cars from more distant places. And to ensure an appropriately early start, even a cock is provided, singing in the morning at just the right time to get ready and to arrive at hiking places before the competition. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the sunrise down the valley. The kitchen & bathroom were spotless, with everything needed. An extra bonus: home-made jams were amazing, as were fresh oranges from the owner's garden. Just one minus: our time there was very short. • Cserer (10/5): Actually, Casa Azul is more than just an accommodation: is a home during one`s holiday. - The location is excellent, right in the hearth of Gran Canaria, wherefrom all points of major interest are easy to reach. Casa Azul is a charming proprety among the spectacular mountains, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with everything necessary. Debbie and Carl are the best hosts one could wish for, always smiling, friendly and responsive -and let us not forget the two lovely co-hosts, the doggies Blue and Cassy who greeted us every morning with friendly tail wagging. Actually, Casa Azul is more than just an accommodation: is a home during one`s holiday.
• Elisa (10/5): Exceptional - Great hosts, we loved the conversations and the overall vibes and had a lot of fun talking! The house and especially the view eating breakfast were amazing and the place was perfect to explore the surrounding areas. We will definitely come back as soon as we can!

• Ioannis (10/5): Excellent stay with excellent hosts - Our stay at Casa Azul was really excellent - amazing comfortable apartment, great breakfast , nice view and super friendly hosts with cute dog! We even got fresh oranges from the trees, fresh eggs and went on a walk all together! Highly recommended! You can really feel that the hosts are leading their business with passion.
• Lana (8/5): we enjoyed the company of Debbie and her dog Blue, she and her partner were very accommodating - Debbie the owner is a delight, very helpful and generous and quick to respond to any request or offer up suggestions. A unique location, in a work-in-progress situation. She and her partner even had a bbq ready for us after a long hike! Fridge came supplied with necessities small lounge area, wifi not reliable

• Oepp (9/5): We liked it a lot. - Cosy apartment, fully equiped. Very nice owner, very helpful. Definitely recommend. We did not have a lot of time, but most likely it is a very good place for hiking. Good restaurant next door with typical Canarian kitchen.

• Desiree (10/5): Very recommendable! - Our stay at Casa Azul was fantastic. The communication went smooth. The house was very clean, cozy and well equipped (including drinks in the fridge). Fresh eggs, oranges and a hot shower with a stunning view in the morning made our stay even more complete. And then we didn’t even mention adorable Blue! Nothing!
• Kae (9/5): Amazing - The busstop is right in front of Casa Azul and so is the Perera bar/restaurant/minishop. The ride up there is impressive; so green, lush and with loads of wonderful views. Through whatsApp Debbie offered us to check in early, which was realy convenient. The house and grounds are beautifully renovated by Debbie and Carl. The couple was super friendly and welcoming! Fresh oranges, drinks, snacks, toiletries... everything we wish for was available. We got to meet (the sweetest dog) Blue after Carl checked if that was OK for us. Once we were settled we wanted to go for a hike and at first they offered to bring us up to Cruz de Tejeda. On top of that they invited us to come along in their car to the pine forest, for a walk with them en Blue, to see the Roque Nublo y Pico de las Nieves. We accepted the offer to go all the way up and it was truely stunning! Afterwards we sat down together and they made us the best gin-tonics ever. Then the bbq was set up and we had a lovely homemade meal together and talked untill bedtime. In the morning Debbie even gave us a ride to San Mateo, where we got on the bus again, after Carl repaired one of our shoes ;-) Thanks a lot and we wish you all the best for the future!
• Shervin (10/5): True gem in Gran Canaria - Exceptional hosts (Debbie and carl) are so loving and made us feel more than at home; Bleu, the most cutest dog was so friendly; great small touches with decor, additional items provided such as fresh oranges from garden tree, beers and wines readily available in the fridge; super clean like not seen often; price is so good I expected to pay more after staying with them; great natural lighting and views; water pressure in the shower was excellent and enough for 3-4 people to shower easily; excellent location with nearby restaurants; I could not recommend them enough!!! Thank you Debbie and Carl for letting us stay in your amazing home 🙏🏼 Nothing!
