Guest Reviews
- Tim (10/5): - Great location & lovely room
- Kirk (6/5): Good & bad - Nice walkable area with plenty of restaurants but many very touristy. Awkwardly small bathroom. Pillows were not comfortable. Loud neighbor next door. Owner seemed sweet and helpful.
- Joel (10/5): - The property was fantastic and the host provided superior amenities and communication.
- Herve (10/5): - Perfect! right in the center of Montmartre, All the amenities were there at the apartment
A bit difficult to find, but it also makes it charming.
We loved it!
- Raymond (8/5): - Terrific location overall and the people were terrific. The room itself was average in comfort. It is right in the middle of the crowds.
- Michelle (10/5): - Cute setting and nice bedding
- John (10/5): Awesome! - The location and the apartment were both spectacular. We loved the shared kitchen where we were able to meet the nicest young lady from Australia when we had breakfast together. Montmarte in the evening when most of the tourists are gone is the best! We will be back!
Fazit: gern wieder.
- Scott (10/5): Parisian Delight - Owners were SO quick to respond to any inquiries. That’s SO important when you are visiting from another country/possible language challenge. Room was RIGHT in the heart of the local scene and not a far walk to get away from to explore. Loved the downstairs common area and offerings. Very generous. I would open the windows at night and hear the faint sounds of jazz wafting in with the evening breeze. Made up for the summer tourist onslaught.
- David (10/5): - This must be one of the best places to stay in the whole of Paris! We were welcomed with the sight of a local artist sketching in the quaint little courtyard and entered the property into a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen. Up the stairs was our room, the Dali Suite. It was so spacious for the price with two floors a living area, big bed and a lovely bath. The view of Sacre Coeur was stunning and it was fantastic to see it day and night. You can even see the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower in the distance from one of the windows and you get a rare glimse into a very old and little seen cemetery below. Everything you could possibly need is nearby and the host was absolutely fantastic and responded promptly to any queries. We felt very welcome and I would highly recommended this as a place to stay.
- Barbara (10/5): - It was such a convenient place to stay. It was absolutely in the middle of everything. We had such a large room with a big sitting area. The property owner was very helpful with all of the details that were given prior to us getting there and was available if we had any questions.
- Caileigh (10/5): - This was in a great location! Dali Suite had great views and was very clean. Host was very responsive and allowed us to leave our bag early. Was a fantastic stay. Only comment is there is one window without drapes so sun is in room early.
- Björn (10/5): - Mycket trevlig hotel med fantastiskt läge.
- Camille (8/5): - Wonderful location. Lovely view of Sacre Coeur. Comfortable bed. Bathroom sink did not drain away. Kitchen facilitiesxok.
- Declanl Joseph (10/5): - Delightful venue in wonderful area with Arty /cafe vibe
- Sally (10/5): - Excellent location and a beautiful property
- Monique Amor (10/5): - Our stay at Les Ateliers de Montmartre Lovely Keys was absolutely PERFECT.
I love that it feels like a hybrid of an Airbnb/bed and breakfast/hotel.
We stayed in the Laurtec suite which had a separate living room from the bedroom and a beautiful view of the Sacre Coeur. The room was a huge size compared to standard hotel rooms in Paris, the bathroom was excellent with a shower that my 6’2” friend easily fit in with room to spare.
Towels were thick and fresh, as was the bedding linens.
The couch pulls out to a bed, but we didn’t use it.
The heater worked extremely well and we were never cold despite being there in January at an average temp of 34 degrees (Fahrenheit) each day.
The kitchen had everything we needed and the fridge was stocked and re-checked daily. We had access to yogurts, milk, cheese, and some cereals (we only had yogurt, cheese and milk), and there were chocolates left on the kitchen table each day for all the guests to enjoy.
We arrived at 10am the day of checkin, and although they do not allow early check in, they are gracious enough to allow you to leave your luggage on the main floor (kitchen/dining area), and go about your day until check in. We did this and explored Montmartre for the day and had lunch until we could check in at 3, and it was perfect.
Yes, the staircase to the rooms is narrow, but not an issue for us. And yes, the bed and pillows are HARD. That is probably my only “negative”. Save your neck and bring your own pillow. 💯
- Susan (10/5): - Cozy apt great location!
- Myriam (8/5): - the location is excellent, in the heart of Montmartre
the view is very good
the bed very comfortable
shower, towels excellent
despite instructions entering residence difficult and you need to be able to carry your luggage up a very narrow turning staircase, no handrail near top of climb
- Cherie (10/5): - Beautiful place to stay for our last night in Paris! So close to everything and awesome to have such a great kitchen. The room was beautiful.
- Leasa (10/5): Great spot, great view. - You cannot possible find a better spot to stay in Paris. But take a cab there if you have luggage! The views of the Sacre Couer are unrivalled, the suite is humongous, clean. The only thing is it would have been nice to have pastries and fruit or something for breakfast since it is labeled a BnB. they do say there is yogurt in the shared fridge but everything was old. It would be simple to offer some pastries in the land of them
- Richard (10/5): - Location is incredible - steps from the Sacre Coure
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Perfect location.
Apt could with some TLC
- Hervé (2/5): A fuir… Horrible - Horrible
- Jodi (10/5): - It’s my favorite place to stay when I’m in Paris. The views are amazing and you get a whole floor to yourself.
- Gregory (10/5): - The view was spectacular. Very charming.
- Dominik (8/5): - This flat is in Montmartre right behind Sacre Ceur - location can’t be better. Breakfast area on the ground floor and upstairs a flat with living room, bedroom and small bathroom with shower. All very clean. To get to the room it’s some steep stairs, keep in mind in case of large and large e heavy suitcases. Other than this like living in a movie - you live almost like a local and step out into Montmartre. The owner was very responsive and the instructions to get into the place easy to understand.
- Christine (4/5): PASSEZ VOTRE CHEMIN !
- Eva (8/5): - Beautiful room and facilities. A little too busy for our liking, but perfect if you want to be right in the heart of Montmartre!
- Wendy (10/5): - Great location and very nice managers. I really enjoyed my stay
- Annmarie (10/5): Beautiful accomodation, beautiful city - The suite was wonderful, clean, super comfortable bed, quiet, really dark bedroom, beautiful furnishings. The location is great, at the very top of Montmartre right beside the sacre coeur, very close to bars and restaurants, absolutely beautiful part of Paris. There are a lot of steps and hills to climb in this area so maybe not good if there are mobility issues but we loved the whole place. 2 min walk to gaze over Paris from the steps of the church... What's not to love?
- Sherri (10/5): - Great location and beautiful room with a view!
- michelle (10/5): Fantastic location - Great location for exploring Montmartre, with excellent views of the Sacre Coeur from the room. Great hosts, super helpful & responsive! Busy location, but couldn’t hear any noise when in the room! Free Wi-Fi & Netflix were unexpected but a nice extra!
- Jennie (8/5): - Had an excellent stay in Montmartre! Spacious unit, great for 2 people; the shared kitchen is an asset!
- patricia (10/5): - We only stayed one afternoon in Paris, but this accommodation was perfect for us! Located in the heart of Montmartre, with a view of Sacré Coeur, it allowed us to experience Paris life while being close to many restaurants and cafés. The owner texted us all the information we needed one day prior to our arrival, including a list of great restos! Thank you very much for the warm welcome!
- JOANNA (2/5): Got sneakers stolen!! - In a fantastic area right by the Sacre Cour but had my sneakers stolen as well as a swell bottle. I arrived at the stay wearing those sneakers so I know they made it there because I was physically wearing them when we checked in, they were there the fist day hard to miss green Nike’s! Then the room was cleaned while we were out exploring, I assumed they had been moved and were in my luggage or something. Turns out they and my metal bottle were both gone. This is pretty disappointing, not sure what else is missing since we just left and I am still on vacation now in Spain. Wouldn’t recommend!
Photo just before getting in the cab to this stay so I was wearing them when we checked in!
- Robert (10/5): Feel like a local - Great location! There was a common area with coffee and condiments. The room was clean and had an awesome view of Sacre' Coeur. Soooooo many amazing restaurants, cafés, and shops right outside the door. Highly recommend!
- Alma (4/5): Convenient, but noisy and packed with tourist. - The owners seemed nice and tried to be accommodating. The room required climbing 3 flights of spiral stairs, which was inconvenient with a big suitcase.
I alerted the owner that the shower flooded and created standing puddles in the bathroom, which was quite dangerous as the floors were tile. She alerted the cleaning person, which poured draino down the drain. The problem was a broken shower door.
Did not see any breakfast other than yogurt and cheese in the refrigerator with instant coffee and tea available. Did see some cracker and cheese.
For us, the biggest problem was the noise as the place was on a busy street with lots of souvenir shops and next door to a busy restaurant.
The front door to enter the entrance to the main house was broken, so anyone could get into the side.
While it was a good location, it was very crowded.
- Alexander (10/5): - The location is perfect! And the room was gorgeous, very comfortable, and had the perfect view. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.
- Amanda (10/5): - The view of the Sacre Coeur from our window was incredible!! Great location in Montmartre, access to the property (via keypads) was easy and convenient. We only stayed here for one night at the end of our time in France (when we returned to Paris to fly out the following morning) but would love to return and stay longer!
- Makiko (6/5): - They
- christophe (8/5): - Excellente situation dans Montmartre. Chambre propre.
