• Luke (10/5): Perfect location for visiting Brussels - Location was amazing and hosts were great with key pick up instructions, it was a 10 minute walk from the property and we were able to pick up some more towels while there. Check out was really simple and easy, again great hosts and an incredible property and location. Would def stay there again.
• Rachel (6/5): Excellent location, but lack of communication was disappointing - Loved the location!!! How many people can say they have stayed in a guild house right in the middle of Grand-Place?! Flat was as expected, generally clean, beds comfy, didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped. Paid for early check-in…the process was confusing because I was given instructions to ring a doorbell and ask the cleaners to let us in. The cleaners had already left, so I had to retrieve the keys from another location while my friends guarded the luggage. By the time I finally received the instructions to get the keys and returned to the flat, paying for early check-in was pointless. Asked for a refund, still haven’t seen it…after communicating that I had made it into the flat, I asked some additional questions and got zero response. For a company that prides itself on being helpful and like a concierge service, the lack of follow-up was disappointing. When I asked about check out processes, they finally texted me back. The wifi wasn’t working (despite our attempts to troubleshoot) and there were only two bath towels but we had three adults in our party, so one of us ended up using a hand towel. The handles/hardware on the doors need to be looked at, the bathroom door didn’t fully close.

• Lisa (8/5): - Great location and comfortable beds. Beautiful features and very spacious. Very dated appliances and loose joinery. Washing machine was not usable and flooded the room during our stay and no one came to check after us reporting it. In urgent need of some maintenance. Bathroom and kitchen still had items left by previous guests.
• kostas (1/5): - Καταρχάς,μιση ωρα πριν φτάσουμε στον προορισμό , μας έστειλαν email και μας ενημέρωσαν ότι ακυρώθηκε η διαμονή λόγω κωλύματος. Εμείς βρισκόμασταν ήδη στην πτήση και ,μολις το διαβάσαμε προσπαθήσαμε να επικοινωνήσουμε με τον υπεύθυνο αλλα δεν υπήρξε καμια ανταποκριση στα τηλεφωνηματα μας.Ευτυχως ,μετα απο επικοινωνία με την booking υπήρξε άμεση ανταπόκριση και μετα απο δύο ώρες βρέθηκε άλλο κατάλυμα.Απαραδεκτη η συμπεριφορά του υπευθυνου του καταλύματος γιατι δεν ενδιαφέρθηκε που θα μέναμε.

• Lívia (2/5): Decepção - Para começar, chegamos em Bruxelas e tivemos que ir buscar a chave em outro lugar. Eram 19h e estávamos com 4 malas, 1 carrinho de bebê e duas crianças pequenas andando na chuva para encontrar o endereço. Extremamente difícil. Depois que pegamos a chave andamos mais 10 minutos até o apartamento. Debaixo de chuva e frio de 5 graus!! O apartamento fica no último andar do prédio. As maçanetas de todas as portas estão soltas e caindo. O WI-FI nao funciona!! Deixaram somente UM papel higiênico que já estava no final!! Não tinha mais nenhum!! A máquina de lavar simplesmente NÃO FUNCIONA!!! Pagamos mais caro por este apartamento por causa da máquina de lavar e não pudemos utilizar! Tive que pagar por uma lavanderia!! Não recomendo. O apartamento precisa de muitos ajustes e não vale o preço cobrado.
• Katy (7/5): Amazing location but some downsides - It’s in an amazing location. It is actually on the Grand Place in one of the guildhouses. You have views over the Grand Place. The bed in the main bedroom was comfy and spacious. The main room and the beams were lovely. The information as to how to get to the property and check-in details were limited and not timely. We responded asking for check-time but had to chase several times to get information. We were told to pick up a key and an envelope - there was no envelope and a key with a different label so my husband went back twice to check as we couldn’t get in contact. There was no information about the property on pick-up or in the property. It feels as if the minimum has been spent on this property. The curtains are badly fitted, stained and so thin they barely block any light. The bedding had some rips in. The handle is falling off the toilet door and there is no lock. The lift opens directly onto the front door - and I mean directly and you need to unlock the door as quickly as you can so the lift doesn’t shut on your arm and start descending. There is nowhere to sit and relax - there is a table and chairs but nowhere to sit and spend an evening. Although the view is great, this is not somewhere to stay with young children as the windows open onto the square and a young child could easily fall out. The lift is also very small. There is no information as to a fire exit and although there is a staircase it is down a very winding staircase. A little money and some care could make this spectacular.

• Simon (8/5): Great location, great building, but...... - Location is fantastic. We were there during the winter lights show in the square below: fabulous. Comfortable, large beds. Issues others have highlighted remain: such as a palaver getting the key, water all over the floor when showering, door handles coming off in your hand, only 4 dining chairs though beds for 5. I'd add a lack of anywhere comfortable to sit, like a sofa, a hat stand to hang coats.. Also i thought in such a historic building there'd be some information about the history of the building made available. But.... the location is top notch. It's all about the location.
• Anastasiia (1/5): - The worst accommodation experience in all my years of traveling. Our trip was completely ruined. Let’s start with the so-called check-in time of 4:00 PM. In reality, you will not check in at 4 PM. Instead, you are forced to travel to a different address to collect the keys. All instructions are sent no earlier than 4 PM, which means that after a long journey you are left standing in the rain with suitcases, having to go to another location, wasting time and money on taxis. Wi-Fi was only provided the next morning, as customer support responds extremely slowly. The apartment itself is in poor condition: • the bathroom drain is clogged, water stands in the bathtub and it is impossible to shower; • door handles are broken on all doors; • there is a very dangerous staircase leading to the second bedroom. But the final insult is the deposit situation: You are charged a huge security deposit, and afterwards the host claims that the keys were “not found” — despite the fact that we left them in the most visible place. As a result, the money is not returned. Our vacation was completely spoiled, and our entire impression of Brussels was ruined. This is terrible service for an extremely high price.
• Asun (9/5): Experiencia inolvidable!! - Inmejorable ubicación , decoración, comodidad, amabilidad del personal en el check in, bien equipado con todo lo necesario en cocina y baño. Ya han comentado que solo una habitación está aislada, el resto es abierto, para nosotras sin problema pero para otros grupos puede serlo. Ascensor mini, evidentemente es un edificio de 1697. Un espectáculo de alojamiento!! El mantenimiento de pequeñas cosas fácilmente reparables.

Pensate al posto più bello in cui vorreste alloggiare in una capitale europea, il più centrale, quello con la più bella vista, quello più affascianante...ebbene Chic Penthouse è tutto questo! Vista da reali! Appartamento pieno di fascino. Pulito, comodo, nessun problema per il check in, cucina perfettamente equipaggiata, bagni (uno solo con wc e l'altro solo con vasca e lavandino) comodi, belli e pulitissimi. Eravamo in 5 (genitori e 3 ragazzi) e siamo stati comodissimi (non è vero, come avevo letto, che mancava una sedia, c'era, era nell'armadio). L'ingresso (bello, pulito, sicuro..e non come avevo letto in qualche recensione sporco e poco sicuro) era direttamente sulla Gran Place, il palazzo uno dei più belli della piazza, l'ascensore, perfettamente funzionante, arrivava direttamente dentro l'appartamento (meraviglioso!). L'ultimo giorno sono stato così gentili da farci tenere tutti i bagagli fino alle 16 nell'ufficio dell'agenzia. Che dire: non credo che si possa desiderare di più..UN SOGNO! COME VIVERE IN UNA FAVOLA! Assolutamente nulla! TUTTO PERFETTO!

• Merilyn (9/5): Very special apartment in a fabulous location. - The view over the main square is spectacular. The apartment is spacious, atmospheric and totally individual. It’s a very special place to stay. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is quirky and individual but there were quite a few broken things. Despite paying a rate which equated to luxury accommodation, this, in itself didn’t bother me except that we had to pay a rather large breakages deposit so I felt a little uneasy about potentially being held responsible. My deposit was refunded in full so I suppose there was no need to worry, but why take a holding deposit when things are not being repaired?

• Christopher (9/5): The pros outweigh the cons and I would definitely go back to this apartment if we decided to come back to Brussels. - Well, of course, the main thing you love about this property is the location and the view! Everything is within walking distance. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The subway is very close. The Wi-Fi signal was really bad. There’s no TV. There was no power the first day so we had to stay at a different location. The refrigerator didn’t work the first day we were there. The water kettle needs to be replaced. There’s no microwave. Every time you take a shower, water goes everywhere especially on the floor because the shower door doesn’t cover enough space. And of course there is no air condition like most places in Europe even though it was in the 90s a lot of the time we were there. They did provide us with three fans though.
• Liz (10/5): We had a wonderful time. The location and view from the apartment could not be beat! We overall enjoyed our stay very mu - We love the location and the view was phenomenal. Some of the furniture was damaged from before like the seat by the window… probably should look into getting that nailed together rather than glue or whatever they used. It was hot up there! It got a little toasty but cooled down with the windows open.

Lits très confortables Appartement très spacieux et très agréable Beaucoup de charme dans l'appartement et dans la décoration 2ème chambre non cloisonnée 1 seule salle de bain Manque un micro onde dans la cuisine pourtant bien équipée Un livret d'accueil avec les explications concernant l'appartement et des adresses de quartier serait utile en l'absence d'une présence physique lors de la remise des clés.

• Rebecca (9/5): Fantastic location! - The apartment is in a fantastic location with a spectacular view over Grand-Place. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Would definitely stay here again! The apartment is listed as 3 bedrooms but in reality has one double bedroom with the only bathroom off it - although there is a separate toilet off the hallway. The 2nd bedroom is an open mezzanine up some stairs from the open plan main living space. And the 3rd "bedroom" was a bed in the main living space. So a lack of privacy which wasn't a huge problem for us but may be for others. The only other drawback is that Grand-place is noisy ALL night long so for anyone sleeping in the main room, take some ear plugs! The other two bedrooms are set back in the building so were fine.
• Darren (1/5): This is possibly a one off but when it goes wrong, it goes very wrong. - It surely is a great location and clearly the apartment has the potential to be great. No comms from the agent/owner about where to meet or collect keys. When we departed, we asked how to return the keys and they told us not to worry as they have plenty of keys, then attempted to charge €200 to replace the keys! Feels like a scam. Much of the furniture was broken and when I sat on the bench under the window it fell to pieces and I banged my head on the window sill as I, along with the bench, fell to the floor. This left exposed screws from the bench and wall, and with young children this was unacceptable. We left and checked into a hotel. The agent/owner admitted that this had been broken by the previous guest and they hadn’t bothered to fix it, along with other furniture. - Cleanliness was average at best - No television - Fire is unworkable - Not a 3 bed, bed in the living area - Not enough seating for family of 5 - A number of safety issues if you have children: no window locks/retainers, no bannister or guard on stairs to mezzanine - The lift is tiny, and the agent/owner stated we can’t all fit in - multiple trips to get all kids and luggage upstairs - The apartment is down a dimly lit alley which didn’t feel safe

• Carolyn (9/5): Beautiful apartment, fantastic location! - The location is fantastic, and the apartment is beautiful and full of charm! With other rentals it is common to receive check in instructions at least 1 day in advance. When we arrived in town we had no instructions, so we went to the apartment. There is no one there at the property, and it took messaging the host, calling the host (no answer to the phone), and then finally calling Booking.com to get in touch with the host. Then we found out we had to go to a different location to drop off our luggage, and then go back to that location later to pick up the key. All of this would have been essential to know ahead of our arrival.
• Susanne (9/5): Besondere Wohnung in außergewöhnlicher Lage - Ganz besonders gut hat uns die Lage gefallen! Der Blick auf den Grand Place ist wundervoll! Die Wohnung ist - aufgrund der Schlafgalerie und des hohen Dachraumes - außergewöhnlich gestaltet und sehr schön! Der versprochene Kamin war leider nicht nutzbar. Da es kalt war, war dies definitiv ein Manko, weil wir uns schon auf den Kamin gefreut hatten. Die Küche war mäßig gut ausgestattet aber ausreichend.

• Sjolund (10/5): Most unique stay in Brussels with the coolest view! - This property is in the perfect place. The views are incredible and everything is in walking distance! The staff is also so kind and helpful. From helping configure our stay before we arrived to the county, accommodating us before our check in and maintaining fast communication, they did it all seamlessly. The beds were very comfortable and the building was so unique. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a one of a kind experience in Brussels!

Also everything was nice and clean. Only a few small things missed such as toilet paper and dish wash. Also maybe one or two extra chairs for when your with 4+ persons may be handy. Small things you shouldn't have to get for a stay of a few days.

• Ava (6/5): - The location right in the Grand Place is amazing, especially during the holidays when there are nightly light shows and lots of activity. This property makes you pay for an earlier check-in. Hosts were not communicative and did not respond to requests for booking taxi for the final morning. Only one bathroom.
• Caitlin (8/5): A fab, stylish and central stay in Brussels! - The location is brilliant, you have a great view of the main square out of the living room windows. The apartment is really spacious and fits 5 guests easily. The apartment is also really stylish, so you feel like you're staying in luxury there. The hosts were very accommodating, allowing us to check in early and also store our suitcases before our flight home. The check-in process was very easy and they were always available via whatsapp if we needed anything. There is only one shower and toilet, which isn't ideal for a larger group. The flat can also get quite cold as it's a large open space and has lots of windows.

It felt like royalty, with the most spectacular view over Grand Place. Opening the windows to look out over the square was such a highlight. Very spacious, comfortable beds and well stocked with all kitchenware. A wonderful place to stay. We wished we had stayed longer. The staff were also fabulous and very responsive - particularly, thank you Marco and Kevin for all of your help to make our stay so enjoyable. We didn’t like having to leave this wonderful property. There is nothing to fault.
• Anne (9/5): You cannot beat such a location in Brussels—it was fabulous! - The location is amazing. The property was as described. There was only one key which required us to coordinate more than normal. It took some doing to get into the property but once in it was fine. I’d suggest leaving more towels and TP and adding Kleenex and a floor mat in the bathroom in the unit for guests. Tighten up the door handles as well as two fell off.

• Jan (8/5): Amazing views in a classy pad - Check in - hey went out of their way to be at the flat even though it was late. They also accommodated our bags at their office for the day after we checked out. The location is amazing - quite a special experience. The flat is tasteful and spacious. It would have been more homely and comfortable if there had been sofas or lounge chairs, Bedroom was very comfortable, but second bedroom was a mezzanine and 5th bed is in the living area. • Ehrenhöfer (8/5): Wirklich tolles, zentral gelegenes Appartement; unterirdische Kommunikation mit der Organisation - Wunderschönes Appartement in einem der bekanntesten Häuser in Brüssel (Postkartenmotiv am Grand Place) Damit ist es sich sehr zentral gelegen, findet vieles vor Ort vor und ist schnell im Geschehen. Trotzdem relativ ruhig. Die Kommunikation mit dem Team ist sehr schlecht. Es wurde nicht kommuniziert, wie und wo genau ich einchecken kann, lediglich ein "du wirst in eine WhatsApp Gruppe hinzugefügt". Am Vormittag der Anreise passierte dies auch, eine Antwort gab es dann erst nur sperrlich und spät. Bis dahin sind wir halt in der Stadt herumspaziert (Koffer können am Bahnhof versperrt werden). Weitere Fragen während dem Aufenthalt wurden gar nicht beantwortet, obwohl 7 Gruppenmitglieder in der Gruppe waren. Ein Hinweis, das Badezimmer ist nur über das große Schlafzimmer begehbar, das zweite Schlafzimmer ist in der Galerie offen zur Küche. Für uns nicht störend, sollte aber bei einer Gruppe mitgedacht werden.

If you want to feel like royalty, stand at the window and look down, immediately people will see you and start pointing and waving at you. Surreal. No A/C for the summer, WiFi is not very good - keeps disconnecting and failing.

Perto de lojas, cafés, mercados, restaurantes e tudo que o turista possa precisar. Apartamento muito espaçoso, todo revestido em madeira. Cozinha completa. Atendimento em português com o Marco, muito simpático e solicito. O banheiro molha muito se usar o chuveiro.

Procédure d'enregistrement compliqué. J'ai été obligée d'appeler l'assistance Booking.com La salle de bain appartient à la chambre, pour les autres voyageurs qui dorment dans le salon/mezzanine la situation peut être un peu difficile. Heureusement les toilettes sont séparées. Absence de climatisation, l'appartement est situé sous le toit, le soir il faisait très lourd dans l'appartement, malgré les températures correctes dehors. Marche d'escalier dangereuse dans le salon, en fait il y a une marche après l'escalier en colimaçon qu'on ne peut pas voir la nuit. Une petite lumière en contremarche serait utile. Absence de facture.

• Ma (7/5): Very nice penthouse in a fantastic location, but was spoiled by a horrible check in process. - The location is absolutely fantastic. The view from the penthouse was amazing. The penthouse was very nice, spacious and clean. Poor organisation in regards to checking in. I was given no information before arriving. On arrival we had no idea how to get into the property and who we were supposed to meet. I had to call, message and Whatsapp many times before getting through. They told us they were arriving in 20mins. We waited over 1 hour for someone to finally arrive with the keys to let us in. It was after 10pm by the time we get into the penthouse. With 3 young kids who were tired from the day's travel, I was less than impressed with how this was managed. After getting into the penthouse, we discovered the beds had not yet been made, adding more delay to what was already a disorganised check in process. After chatting with the manager over the phone, we decided to continue the talk the next day as it was already very late and I needed to get the children ready for bed. I never heard back from the manager. This is really unacceptable and I feel like some compensation/refund should have been offered for this mess. It was very hot during our stay in the penthouse, and having no air conditioning or fans meant it was very hard to sleep -comfortably at night. But this is a minor issue compared to the check-in bungle up.

There was a festival when we stayed and we could see it through the window all the time. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. Thank you so much for memorable stay. We are sure to come back! • Kim R (10/5): Highly recommend. Great Location, Great Price, Great Hosts. - Location was incredible. Could not ask for anything better. We enjoyed waiving to the crowds throughout the day! The apartment is beautifully appointed and the view are jaw droppingly beautiful. There is no air conditioning and we were there when it was HOT. However, a fan showed up outside the apartment later that evening. The windows open fully and the hosts were great. The freezer didn't work and we couldn't make ice. But again, this did not dampen our spirits or in any way negatively impact our stay.

Hinweis: Es gibt nur 1 abgeschlosenen Schlaufraum, durch den auch das einzige Bad erschlossen ist (WC ist separat). Die anderen Betten stehen im Wohn-/Schlafraum. War konnten uns damit arrangieren. • christophe (5/5): Déçu par le rapport qualité/prix ... - Bien situé cet appartement ne convient pas pour plus de 4 personnes, les sièges sont rudimentaire et peu confortables, les équipements sont manquants pour beaucoup dans la cuisine, bien que prévue il n'y a pas de TV. Pas de volets pour les fenêtres. Très cher compte tenu de la prestation

• VroomBZH (9/5): Séjour magnifique dans un immeuble historique - Emplacement extraordinaire, avec une vues sur le XVIIème siècle dans un immeuble historique très bien rénové. Il a notamment gardé le charme de sa charpente historique qu'on a loisir d'admirer quand on est logé au dernier étage. La place vit 24/24 mais cela ne provoque pas de nuisance sonore depuis la chambre parentale, un peu plus depuis la banquette située près des fenêtres en façade. Equipements satisfaisants. Les hôtes sont au petit soin, avec accueil sympathique et livraison d'un complément de serviettes de toilette très rapide après en avoir fait la demande. Le service de bagagerie situé près de la Cathédrale permet de profiter de la dernière journée sur Bruxelles. L'ascenseur en panne à l'arrivée mais heureusement pas pour longtemps. Heureusement que le service de réparation a été réactif et efficace. Les odeurs de la cheminée d'extraction du restaurant du rez-de-chaussée.

• Jara (9/5): The flat is stunning with a direct view on Grand Place. A better location couldn't be better. - The location is incredible and the apartment very beautiful. It was very clean and we were greeted at the door when we arrived so very smooth transition. There aren't three separate rooms, there are three beds but two are within the same "room" one on the mezzanine and one in the lounge. The main bathroom requires access through the main bedroom so I wouldn't recommend this location for business travels.
