We were surprised by the bottle of sparkling wine, two bottles of beer, and chocolate biscuits awaiting us when we arrived. We found the accommodation comfortable and suited our needs.

Leigh (10/5): The perfect spot for a comfortable stay in lovely Sorrento. - Perfect location close to beach & town (great variety of good shops), good quality linen & bath products, complimentary bubbles, beer & bottled water, very comfortable. Minutes away from the ferry to Queenscliff. Nothing comes to mind. Maybe a small bottle of cooking oil would have been handy.

Great location, beautiful walks at your back door and a short stroll to Main Street. Would stay again. Not great sound insulation between our unit and the adjoining unit. Not sure if there is anything that could be done about that though.

We also had 2 other daughters and their families staying in apartments at the property , which made for an easy arrangement . Angela (9/5): Perfect little getaway in the pretty town of Sorrento - It was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and little courtyard at the back. Location was close to shops and restaurants. Host was lovely too. We had a relaxing stay and would go there again. Walls were a little bit thin but it was a quiet part of the season and people were mindful of that.

THORBEN (9/5): Perfect for short getaways as a couple - The unit was small but exactly what we needed as a couple. Everything was well appointed, clean and accessible. Nice bathrooms, great bed, iron and hairdryer all provided! We really appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee + sugar and milk. Also the welcome drinks in the fridge! So thoughtful! We were very happy to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Sorrento, it was so quiet and peaceful and yet within walking or short driving distance to all we needed. One of the neighbouring units was being renovated so there was a little construction noise going on one morning, apart from that, there was nothing else to complain about!

Wei Leng (6/5): New unit but basic setups and can get quite tight squeeze if you have more people staying. Good location close to town a - Location, close to beach and walkable to town Considerably basic for the price, minimal linen and amenities. A bench top size bin provided for the entire unit with only one spare small big bag for 3 nights stay. As we only book the unit for 3 people, a note on the spare bed upstairs asking guest not to disturb is quite off putting or else additional charges applied. Constantly has to remind our young child not to mess up the bed. But also think about other renters following us if they have to use the 4th bed with ‘not so fresh’ linen.

The property itself is amazing ! The only downside is we could hear our neighbours talking, take your ear plugs. Otherwise we loved our stay.

Very minor gripe as the stay was terrific, but bed was two single beds pushed together presumably due to lack of other available mattresses. Very insignificant issue, however.

Rich (8/5): Overall we found the place to be nice, neat and well looked after and a good location - The location was good, property was nice and clean. Rachael was very responsive and provided us with a coffee machine and explained our apartment didn’t have a Spa Bath 🛁 . Bed was nice and comfy, TV worked and appliances provided, worked as expected 🙂. The fridge had a few complimentary drinks, some Tea and Tim Tams too 👍 Better clarity with the rooms, as we had thought we were booking for the Spa Bath Apartment and there would be an oven. Photos are slightly different to the Apartment we hired such as bright blue couch and a coffee machine (oven??) but no major issues. The bathroom is nice but could use some robe hooks and possibly an over toilet storage/shelf for clothes etc, rather than having to balance clothes on the toilet lid. Parking was a bit tricky on one day as someone parked in our spot, not realising there are actually 2 bays with the same number (although the other one had a small plate stating it was for unit No.a). The noise from neighbours coming through the walls can be a little loud but fortunately they didn’t carry on too much.

Christina (9/5): Perfect location for a comfortable stay in Sorrento - The location was stunning, walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and beach! Parking is super helpful and once you're inside you'll be impressed how well the space used. Kitchen is super function, little outdoor spot is great and the layout works well. Comfortable for two people or a couple and small child. Would have loved a sheet on the bed as the duvet got very hot being peak summer. Coffee machine was a nice touch and so appreciated, decaf pods would have been great though.

We had pod, plunger and instant coffee as well as tea provided, but would have appreciated some milk for our first morning.

The Apartment has a private entrance and was big enough for our 3 night stay with a comfortable bed , nice outdoor courtyard and kitchen facilities. Great location to the main street filled with cafes ,shops , Richie's IGA , bottle shop and restaurants (we walked to Sage Italian restaurant not far from the Apartment - awesome food ). Loved Sorrento and hope to return again one day. Definitely recommend Ocean Beach Stays Sorrento.

I did not receive check in instructions until after midnight on our first day, and when I called the number listed it went to voicemail, which I never received a call back.
