The place is clean, very well located in old quarter with shops, restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance. The air conditioning was very effective and bed super comfortable. Staff was very helpful and arranged leaving the luggage after the check out, they were very responsive and helpful. Owner did warn us about the stairs, but still taking lagguage up and down the stairs is problematic.

• Katrina (10/5): Stay here if you want something roomy in the heart of the city! - Ive stayed in many places in Hanoi and this is one of the few that lives up to its pictures. Its clean, roomy, and comfortable. This is the only place I want to stay whenever I’m in Hanoi. The bed frame squeaks a bit so if you’re a light sleeper, you may notice at night.

• Kyle (10/5): This will be the first place I look up when I have a Hanoi trip planned. - Everything. Its location, size, cleanliness, amount of amenities, level of privacy, accommodations) I requested early check on the night before my stay and had no issues), ease of check-in, etc. all met or exceeded the standards of the previous 4 star hotel I stayed at. It is clear that the lodging is owned by an honest local who wants to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible. There were many numerous small details (such as providing plenty of clean, bottled water to little toiletries) that were appreciated. perfect stay * You do have to go up 3 floors of stairs to get to the lodging, but the owner makes sure to tell you ahead of time.

What we loved the most were the beddings. They were very soft and comfortable. The host was very helpful and responsive, even going out of her way to help us with restaurant reservations. Since it's situated at the 3rd floor, the stairs can be tricky especially with heavy luggages. I would not recommend it if traveling for elderly. Other than this, everything else was perfect.

Kept our luggage for us when we went to Sapa for 3 nights then returned to the apartment. Comfy bed and good facilities including Netflix on TV. Had to pay in cash which was more difficult.

The apartment is right in the middle of everything.. and it is so quiet!!! The apartment has everything. And the host is so helpful.. nothing is too much for her.. she really is most concerned that the guest feels comfortable and has everything they need. Thank you

The apartment is in the old quarter surrounded by cafes, shops and everything! The hostess was incredibly helpful and so communicative. Although I like the stairs .. the apartment is on 3rd level. There is no elevator and the stairs are quite steep…

• Karen (10/5): Lovely little flat in the heart of the Old Quarter, Hanoi - This property is right in the centre of the Old Quarter so great for sightseeing. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay including a large bathroom with a power shower. Everything was very clean and self check in was straightforward. The property owner was lovely and extremely responsive. She really went out of her way to help us, making sure we had arrived safely, gave us advice about shopping and excursions and was so friendly and kind. Nothing. This apartment suited us perfectly for our three night stay in Hanoi.

There is a bathtub and separate shower in the bathroom. The apartment is on the 3rd floor accessed by a spiral staircase. It could be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Also there were steps between each of the rooms.

Room is big and there is kitchen for us to do easy food or to have dishes and 🥣 when we buy food to eat in the room. Stairway is too small and too steep, and it will be more difficult when you come there with big and heavy luggage, which is what I found supper difficult for me, as there no elevator.

The host was lovely and very helpful. Everything was great! There are some narrow spiral stairs if you have a hard time navigating , especially with luggage.

Bare in mind, its not a hotel, its a home-stay and they'll send you codes to get in the door and to get your room key. Great location in the heart of the old quarter. The name of porperty being clearly listed. Its not 'hanoi old quarter', thats simply the location. The real name is Maison de Lune. Its a significant issue if being picked up by a bus from a named location. The pictures they send to identify the place need updating, as the signage outside is a little different now.

• Feruz (10/5): We felt at home, convenient location & exceptional hospitality of the host - The most I like about the accommodation is the attentiveness & highly responsive host. She was always available to assist, promptly addressing any concerns or questions that arose during my stay. This level of responsiveness enhanced the overall experience, making me feel valued as a guest and ensuring that my needs were consistently met. The place is clean, location is great (near the Old Quarter centre but not too close to the traffic & noise) and we had all we needed (towel, pantry, Netflix & fridge). We felt as if we're staying at a friend's place. Highly recommended. Nothing, but just be prepared to carry your luggage to your room via the small stairs. However, if you're are unable to, I am sure the host is more than willing to help you out.
