Guest Reviews
- Evelien (5/5): - Super aardige eigenaren!
- Melanie (8/5): Authentic farm stay - Breakfast was good, bikes were great (even if a bit old!!) and our host was very friendly. Authentic farm stay with good transport links into Amsterdam. Even had a dishwasher! Would definitely stay again. The cottage was sitting in a large puddle of water, so there were LOTS of mosquitos.
- Niccolo (10/5): Exceptional - very good farm cottage.not too far from the city specially if your driving none
- Joseph (8/5): Very good -
- Alicia (7/5): Disappointing...freezing COLD - This cottage has so much potential. We really wanted this to be our favorite place we stayed. This cottage is located outside of the city, which is a huge plus. Beautiful drive getting to the cottage. We loved being able to walk through the barns and see all the sheep and milking process. We knew that by looking at pictures, the cottage was an open room with beds, but we did not realize there was no heat. It had a small oil heater, and we were offered a second heater. It was so cold we could see our breath. We went to bed with hats, gloves, double layers, and cloths on. We were told oil would be coming for the oil heater, and it never came. We had to go ask for it, and we were told, "I can't find the oil."
The bathrooms and showers are outside of the cottage in the mudroom area 20 steps outside the cottage.
Second night we were offered to stay in the apartment above the main house. That was a nice upgrade. However, we got little sleep due to the kids screaming during the night. We have kids, and we understand they wake in the middle of the night. We had no idea they would be in the room next to ours.
Breakfast was supposed to be offered daily, in the fridge downstairs... but there wasn't breakfast either day.
- Vieux (10/5): Lovely time, we enjoyed the flexibility the bikes gave us and the nice bikerides into town - Nice hosts, clean, plenty of bikes to borrow for free Smell in the toilet and shower building, although the smell wasn’t present in the actual toilets and shower
- Serap (7/5): It was a good stay, clean place. if you like nature and animals is it a good place - The Beds and bikes Flies, mosquitoes
