Guest Reviews
- Caitlin (10/5): Highly recommended central but also private and chill lovely space to rest the bones - Clean modern private and fun Nothing
- Millie (6/5): Good location to the city and botanical gardens, but not great value for money overall. - Nice location to walk to the river and into the city and botanical gardens. Not much of a vibe in terms of bars and restaurants in the area but it's only a 20min walk to the city. Comfortable apartment, had everything we needed for our stay. Overpriced for the value of the apartment. We didn't like that you have to collect the keys from a newsagent about a 5 min walk from the property. If you want early check in they charge you $160 for 9am and $120 for 1pm.
- Justin (9/5): Superb -
- Vanessa (5/5): Passable - The location was great and beautiful view. Comes with two car parks. Great restaurants nearby. The dryer wasn't working so they replaced it with a temporary one. However, they left the old dryer sitting in the corner of the dining room for our entire stay (3 weeks). We were expected to be on-site to allow access into the apartment to replace the dryer. This did not suit our schedule because it was a working holiday.
The washing machine flooded some of the apartment and needed attention. The power points in the kitchen and dining room weren't safe. However, they did get replaced at our request.
The oven needed a good clean. The windows in the master bedroom flooded one night due to very heavy rain.
The shower in the ensuite due to its design did not have a door on it, which causes it to flood every time you use it.
The clothes rack is broken and taped together.
Overall, the apartment could do with a complete refresh.
We had issues using the car park, because someone else had parked in the designated car park. With the help of the on-site property manager we got this resolved. Please note, the on-site property manager is not part of booking.com and not who you have to deal with for renting this apartment.
- Pauline (3/5): Disappointing! We booked and paid for a "luxury" apartment and expected better. - Location was good. A short walk to St Kilda Road. On the plus side, it does have lovely views. Cleanliness was not good. There was mould in the shower, balcony area very dirty. It probably was a nice apartment when first opened but now looking very tired. Needs a thorough clean inside and out on balcony and tidy up of interior woodwork. Dust on top of fridge, cushions ripped, cracked drinking glass, mismatched crockery. Poor amount of bathroom toiletries for a four night stay. Check in key pickup and check out key drop off are not convenient - instructions for the check in did not arrive on time which left us standing around waiting on the street. No instruction book on how to operate things like TV.
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional - Close proximity to the city. The apartment has a few kitchen extras like cooking paper, paper towels etc.
Their communication has been excellent. The dryer didn't work. However, because we are staying on, they provided us with a temporary replacement dryer.
Getting the key to get in on the first day was bit of a mission!!
- Monika (8/5): Very good - The beds were very comfortable, and the neighborhood and building were safe. The facilities were good, the parking was brilliant, and the overall experience was pleasant, though not perfect. The internet was absent or very weak, making it absolutely impossible to work, with only the messengers barely functioning. The clothes dryer was out of order. Unfortunately, there was also quite a bit of dust in the apartment. The shower in one of the bedrooms did not have a curtain and was leaking badly.
