Simon (2/5): Watch out of the non-refundable mandatory wear and tear fee that is not included in the booking cost - The unit is very close to the Casino and to the Convention Centre. It is a fairly easy walk from the Melbourne City Express terminal at Southern Cross Station and so is easy to access from the airport. Having paid the amount advertised on the Booking.com website I was very surprised to discover that I could not complete my booking without paying a $25 non-refundable mandatory fee to cover "any small damages and wear and tear". The information to get into the unit was supplied via a large number of emails and text messages rather than being contained in one message. The sofa is very low and I don't think that I needed four pillows (all of which seemed to be the same size) and five cushions on the bed. There are no restaurants or cafes close to the unit (although there is an IGA so you can buy yourself some snacks if it is raining).
