Guest Reviews
- Robert (9/5): One night stay - We had a nice one night stay, the view down to the horses was really nice and relaxing. The lovely hosts invited us to feed the horses and the Highland coos, which really made the experience. The property is separate from the other buildings, with the rec room behind it. They provided a breakfast basket, which was very much appreciated.
- Despaula (10/5): Exceptional - A peaceful spot and well-equipped accommodation. We had taken food with us but there was a good range of food and drink options provided. The kids enjoyed playing pool in the games room while it was raining and watching the foals playing while having dinner on our deck.
- Shirley (10/5): Lovely place and would certainly recommend. A bit “out of the way” but worth it for sure! - It was beautifully decorated, the bed was comfy. The view of the horses was great off our deck and the hosts were very friendly. The breakfast basket was more then adequate. Only small thing was no real orange juice in the breakfast basket… it was some sort of orange drink…not juice. Probably wouldn’t bother anyone else but I’m a morning pure orange juice fanatic.
- Nabilah (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing in a lovely location - Great, peaceful location. The horses and highland cows were very friendly and obviously well cared for. The room had very good, comfortable and clean facilities. Fruit, eggs, toast, tea and coffee, wine etc all provided.
- Kun (10/5): Exceptional - This place is absolutely amazing! It’s incredibly clean and tidy, and every detail in the room reflects the care and thoughtfulness of the hosts.
The custom bedding featuring photos of their highland cattle is so adorable. When we arrived on a particularly hot day, we were pleasantly surprised to find freshly cut watermelon ready for us in the fridge. The breakfast basket prepared by the hosts was abundant and even included fruits freshly picked from their own orchard.
The farm animals were absolutely delightful, and we were lucky enough to feed them with the hosts. They were so friendly and welcoming, introducing us to each animal and every little detail of their farm. Before we left, they even picked a few avocados for us as keepsakes.
I’ve uploaded some photos to show just how incredible this place is, hoping those considering a stay here will know what a gem it is. We had an absolutely wonderful day on the farm and are already looking forward to coming back!
- Tonia (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (10/5): Perfection - The accommodation was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail, from the cozy decor to the little thoughtful touches, made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect. I can’t recommend this place highly enough truly a five-star experience!
- Emily (7/5): Restful way to break up a drive - Lovely way to break up a long drive, everything we needed and comfortable facilities with helpful, friendly staff. Was quite hard to know where to go when arriving at night, but thankfully ran into someone else familiar with property who helped us find way.
- Marc (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (10/5): A delightful experience. Down-to-earth hosts, comfortable room, stunning surroundings and gorgeous animals. Winning on a - The peace and tranquility. A great way to unwind, and being invited to help feed the animals was awesome. I’d never brushed a Highland cow before. Our hosts were amazing and so hospitable. It truly was a great spot to stay.

A spacious, modern room with a wide view of horse paddocks and natural bushland. Zero

- Sue (9/5): Away from motels in town, a uniquely different experience & beautiful ambience. Would definitely stay again & wi - Relaxing outlook, interesting property with lots of animals. Something different & not too far from town facilities. Nothing
- Nick (10/5): Was a wonderful little break, we needed somewhere close, amazing location. - Welcoming, tidy, welcome basket, well equiped and functional.
- Tirzah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (8/5): Very good - Private, self contained, farm/stud environment, hosts, Regional service standards from telco's *not the fault of the hosts*. I need reasonable internet connectivity for work trips and occasionally demand was greater than supply.
- Bronwyn (10/5): Fabulous place to stay. Fully self contained large cabin and they have thought of everything! - Beautiful location . Views of the gum trees and the dam and the Horses. They also have 3 young Highland cows they are raising .
A lovely Continental breakfast was included with little pots of home made jam and their own honey.
Sharon and Wayne were very welcoming hosts . We were invited to come along to feed the Highland cows when I had shown my excitement at them being there. A big bonus was also spending time brushing them ! I cannot think of anything I didn’t like !
- Liz-beth (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, the peaceful atmosphere and great accommodation. Nothing
