- Erin (10/5): - Comfortable little cottage with great views very clean and tidy big deep bath tub
- vicki (9/5): Everything was comfortable and pleasant. Good location, easy to access. - It was very comfortable and clean. Generally, it was generally nice and quiet except for the neighbours playing basketball or cricket or something early every morning making a lot of banging noises. There was nothing to dislike.

- Jonathan (7/5): Loved the view and location!!! House is dated and run down. - The location is absolutely stunning and fabulous for my doggy. Screen door broken and hard to use. Some kitchen cupboards dirty and only used dishcloths provided. Other house on same site with dog( I had to be careful when I let mine out) no air conditioner and no dishwasher. Mouldy shower curtain.
- Rodney (2/5): A very disappointing accommodation, not worth the money. - The breakfast was great - I cooked it.
The location was exceptional for summer. The property was very dated and obviously priced above its value.
There was no heating save for the small strip heater in the bathroom which did not work.
Adding insult to injury there were no spare blankets - we froze.
I wrote giving Eric the opportunity to negotiate a fair deal but he has not responded in well over a month.
- Lauren (7/5): It was ok - Location Not well maintained
No air con (said it did)
Shared block with other houses, wasn’t mentioned - one occupant had the police there
- Smrita (6/5): -
- Natasha (7/5): - The location. Yard for dog. Access to water.
A great little house, I will stay again. The house was really hot and was very unpleasant to be in. We had doors and windows open and fans on, with little effect. It wasn't until the storm came through that it cooled down. Airconditioning would be a very welcome addition, at least in the living room.
There were other people staying and they also had dogs (although they kept them inside all of the time) it meant that I was anxious about my dog. They also left the gates open.
The ramps to the house can be slippery in the rain. Was very nervous walking on them.
- Vanessa (8/5): Would definitely stay at this property again - The location and the view was spectacular very private right on the water’s edge There wasn’t much to not like but if I were being picky I would say an extra blanket for those colder nights and some door stoppers
- Neil (9/5): To short would easily stay longer great spot comfortable clean great hosts - Great location on waterfront clean comfortable great views relaxing feel Not best fishing from jetty but kept kids amused, some decor dated but not issue for us
- Ursula (8/5): A very enjoyable stay - We liked that the location was close to family and that there was a yard for the grandkids to run around in. The toilet in the laundry was a bonus as was the provision of laundry powder. The jetty was a novelty and was relaxing to look out over. My daughter enjoyed feeding the ducks. The linen was clean and fresh and the beds quite comfortable. There was plenty of room to have the family over for dinner with a full working kitchen. Some tall drinking glasses would have been good, otherwise the kitchen was well-stocked. The bathroom was very dated with two mirrors that cut either the top or the bottom off of your vision. Full length mirrors in the bedrooms would be useful. The outdoor lights on the back patio didn't work.

- Sally (9/5): Gorgeous outlook and very safe! - Very friendly hosts, felt safe area, gorgeous outlook. Comfy beds. Very happy to recommend Nothing
- Barry (5/5): location and access to local shops is good with great views accross the lake - no breakfast good location thye house had a terrible stale damp odour eminating from the stove and the bathroom, i know and appreciate that the place is pet friendly but it seems the clients have to put up with that because they like to take thier fur babies with them
- Huizhong zhan (9/5): -
- Mai (5/5): - View amazing The house was cold no heater it not good for winter .
- Mark (7/5): magnificent spot; the house lags a little behind, perhaps need more tlc - the location a few missing light bulbs
- Susan (8/5): - Beautiful peaceful place with a wonderful view No airconditioning, would be cold in winter
- Jenny (10/5): Beautiful couple of days - Fantastic location, view over the Jetty is lovely. Very safe and secure yard for our dog. Very clean and comfortable. The only thing I had trouble with where the screen doors had trouble locking them otherwise perfect.
- Liz (8/5): We enjoyed our stay. - Lovely location. Quite central. Quiet and lovely being in the water. The only teabags were green tea teabags no real sugar, only artificial sweeteners.
Also I think it would be good to have extra blankets in the cupboards. It got cool at night and I imagine in winter you would definitely need extra bedcovers.
- Jingwen (5/5): - Perfect water view but poor facilities and customer service.
- Beatriz (8/5): Very quiet place perfect to rest. - Great location and a beautiful view. All good
- Brittany (10/5): -
- Susanne (9/5): great place to relax and enjoy the water views. - Clean house.
All the comforts of home.
Great jetty. Nothing
- Lynne (9/5): The cottage is very quaint, the area quiet and pretty, right on the water, and has all amenities that you might need. - The cottage is roomy, has a groovy bathroom, and all amenities we required.

- Dale (9/5): Delightful place to stay - The location of the cottage is superb. It is right on the water affording fabulous views of the bay. A short walk to the train station, and bus stop is even closer, for trips to the city, Gosford and Woy Woy. Aldi, a bottle shop, and food shops close by. Can recommend the cafe and Chinese takeaway. Bed was comfortable, a good shower, well equipped kitchen, lots of space, good Wifi. It was hot while we were there, no air-conditioning but ceiling fans in both bedrooms and living area keep the house cool. The house is an older style, solid in wind and cosy, and has the feel of staying with your grandparents. Best of all was the back verandah, an excellent spot to spend time watching birds, boats and the changing scenery. Very relaxing spot! Glad we had our camping chairs for sitting outside. There is a sofa but being able to move our chairs around meant we could avoid sun and rain at different times. Some freight train noise at night.
- Chelsea (6/5): Paying for the view only. - Waterfront view with large fenced yard. Good cooking utensils and laundry facilities, lots of ice in freezer. Mouldy shower curtain & sink plugs.
Doors don’t latch to stay closed.
The owner/management sat out in their car waiting for us to vacate at least 45 mins before check out time. Did not speak or acknowledge us as we went back and forth packing our car. We locked everything up and put the key back in the lock as requested and he just sat there the whole time watching us. It made us feel very uncomfortable and rushed.
Personally, I don’t think it’s worth the nightly rate.

- Michael (8/5): An excellent location for a family with pets - Overall the cottage was lovely and we enjoyed our time here. It's in a great location, and has a large yard perfect for dogs. The cottage was clean, and a good size overall with all the amenities you could need. Eric the owner was lovely to deal with and prompt with all replies. I would definitely recommend this place. The cottage has no air-conditioning and the windows are a bit hard to open.
An outdoor table would be nice so you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view.
Theres no photos of the kitchen in the listing so ill provide one.
- john (10/5): It was a great weekend great location Andy to everything would do it again - Location Nil
- Natasha (8/5): Great house on the water - Location, view, comfortable beds. The jetty was amazing. A great place to stay. The yard was perfectly safe for my little dog. I would love to come back. The kitchen cupboards smelt musty, the oven was dirty. I contacted Eric who said it would be addressed.
- Paul (9/5): Will book again next year! - Location over looking the Water. Proximity to Gosford, Woy Woy and the Beaches.
- Tatiana (8/5): -
- Gai (9/5): - 'Fantastic location
- Fumiko (8/5): -
- Leeanne (10/5): It was the perfect little waterside cottage to explore from. - The location was magnificent. Right on the water with our own jetty. It was lovely and clean and a great fenced yard for our dog to run around in. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
- Katherine (10/5): -
- Judith (6/5): -
- Stephen (6/5): Great place to get away from it all. Great sunrises and sunsets. Facilities are showing their age. - The view from the back yard was excellent. Even caught a few fish from the jetty. House needs an update and a good clean.
- Amina (6/5): - The location is absolutely amazing
You will be on a shared property with another house. Very old house.
House needs to be properly cleaned and better accommodated to guests. I felt like everything needs to be cleaned. It just didn't seem up to standard.
There was a weird smell in the bedroom ...
- Doug (9/5): - Fully fenced dog friendly yard.
Very private residence and a comfortable
stay.
Centrally located to tourist attractions Nil
- Robert (9/5): A pleasant location, a solid tidy cottage, well preserved and maintained -
