Guest Reviews
- Kathryn (1/5): Bad -
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - The host Isabelle was incredibly kind, helpful and caring, she went above and beyond to make sure we got all of our bags and everything went smoothly, I could not recommend this place enough. The town is also beautiful.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leon (9/5): Just a stopover for one night whilst walking the Camino frances. - It was beautiful, in a beautiful location I was desperate to find somewhere to stay but it was too far from where I wanted to be.
- Adriana (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (10/5): Beautiful lake but out of the way! - Very clean….wonderful staff Website said 3.3 miles from Zubiri…what it doesn’t tell you is it’s by car! It’s 10 miles from Zuribi by foot over very mountainous terrain….i walked alone for 22 miles off the Camino trail to get there.
- Patrecia (10/5): Tranquil - I felt like I was at home and on vacation at the same time very comfortable place to stay and I would recommend the whole village to anyone for a vacation and time to rest and recuperate It was very purist and beautiful and tranquil the whole little village
- Paul (10/5): Great find - We found this albergue while hiking the Camino de Santiago and could not find accommodations along the trail. Rooms and bathrooms were immaculately clean. Excellent value. Easy and friendly check-in. If you are hiking the Camino, you will have to take a taxi from Zubiri to get there. There are very limited food options in town, so eat before arriving or bring food with you to prepare in the kitchenette.
- Helen (10/5): Above and Beyond - The owners accommodated all of our needs. Actually, they went above and beyond expectations. I returned to retrieve my clothes from the dryer to find them folded for me. What an angel!
- Stephenson (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, friendly, very accommodating! Nothing
- Rosetta (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, and Isabelle was super helpful!! Muchas gracias ❤️ The hospitality and their kindness!!
- Julie (6/5): Nice but needs to get more established - Beautiful and comfy Too far off Camino, I was the only guest so a little creepy !
Then a family came in at 10:30 after I was sleeping and made lots of noise for 2 hours! Uggh!
- Teresa (5/5): Did not stay. - Price It was too far from the Camino! I could not get there! I did not stay there!
- Shellie (8/5): Very good -
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (9/5): Great Albergue in a beautiful location - The Albergue itself was great, really clean, great facilities and a beautiful location in a small picture postcard town overlooking a reservoir set in the mountains. only problem was the town was about 6km of the camino trail which I did not realise when booking. having said that I would still recommend this Albergue to anyone traveling in this area, the town of Eugi is beautiful and has a really good restaurant overlookin the reservoir. A shared taxi for 5 euro each got myself and 2 others back on the trail next morning. Not a fault of the Albergue, my fault for not doing enough research. but the town of Eugi is 6km of the camino trail. Again if you want a quiet Albergue with great facilities and a beautiful location the albergue is a 10 minute taxi ride away.
- Grainne (8/5): Very scenic but difficult to get to - We had the dorm room to ourselves . The hostel was excellent we didn't realise how far away it was once we arrived in Zubiri from the camino . We had to organise a taxi to the hostel by asking a local bar to ring a number provided by the accommodation which was easy enough. Once we got to the accommodation there was nothing open or no people around . We found one small bar/restaurant and got some small food there. No shops or amenities nearby
- Peter (2/5): Wish I never booked - Nothing Everything
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location, nice shared facilities Need ac or fan
