- Hitomi (7/5): The worst receptionist but view was amazing - Beautiful view, spacious rooms, access to the beach Reception staff was not responsible and she was so rude. The description of this unit is wrong, it’s stated as “sub-penthouse” but actually 11th floor of building that has up to 14th floor. Also they clearly noted “there is a private spa” and luxurious bath picture on the web page. I was disappointed when I found it is not there because bath is one of the reason I chose this place to stay. When I ask this about the reception, she said “We haven’t had the bath for long time, if you don’t like it, just you leave and go find another place!” No apologies, no explanation, and also how she talked us was really offensive and didn’t let us talk. By the way, I saw several times the receptionist was having arguments with other customers at the counter during this stay. Poor amenities, towels weren’t provided enough for the number of people. I had to buy hand soap and toilet papers. ↑I told about this to the receptionist and she blamed us not visiting the reception when check-in. (Reception closes at 4pm and our check in time was at 6pm)

- Kathryn (7/5): Great apartment, best location just needs some TLC and attention. - The location is great! Close to everything! Stunning view and easy access to cafes, restaurants and beach. The apartment wasn’t really clean; food between cushions in couch, mat in lounge needs a good clean, veranda was dusty and kitchen cupboards needed to be wiped down. Floor needs a good clean to remove marks. Broken dining room chair and perished veranda furniture weren’t able to be used. Clothes airer needs to be replaced. Shower screen door came off runner.

- Leigh (9/5): Great view and great location - The ocean view rooms have excellent views, location is fantastic- really close to restaurants and cafes and just across the road from the beach. There is a bus stop about 50 metres away with buses to Coolangatta and Robina. The staff are absolutely wonderful and were always very helpful and friendly. We've previously stayed in rooms which look straight out onto the beach. They get the morning sun but that is so much better than the afternoon sun. We had to go out in the afternoons because it was so hot and uncomfortable in the living area of our unit and on the balcony. (There is airconditioning in the bedrooms but only fans in the living area)

I won’t be back. - Location & pool -Prior arranged cot wasn’t in bedroom, we had to rush our kids around after 2 hours in the car on a Saturday afternoon to buy a cot for our 4 month old to sleep in. - tried to call the after hours number on the reception desk twice and no answer, also messaged them on booking.com with no answer, still no answer on Tuesday -The room wasn’t clean, hair everywhere from previous guests, sand all through the apt, ensuite toilet hadn’t been cleaned since last guest used it… - the unit we stayed in was in such poor condition, showers were mouldy, fan in one of the bedrooms didn’t work, light in the kitchen didn’t work - residents in the hotel are rude

- Anna (6/5): A nice stay, but expected a little more for the money. - Loved the view and the location was great, very easy to get around. We had a hire car, so the private secure parking was great and easy access into the building. There was only one very small milk in the fridge which didn't even do 3 cups of tea for us, it would have made more sense to have 2 for the number of people staying. There was no standard black tea available or coffee, and as we got in late, we couldn't have a cuppa when we woke up. These small convivences make a huge difference to your stay and experience. The apartment was more run down than I had expected, and small things like to rusty airer would be simple fixes.

- Jacquie (8/5): Great apartments with excellent views. - Directly across the road from the beach with amazing views right up to Surfers Paradise. Good sized apartments with all the mod cons. A bit of a walk to get to Kirra Point which is the main swimming beach but not a huge issue.
- Irene (1/5): Very disappointing and not advertised correctly as this is clearly not a deluxe, I have photos as evidence. - The location was good and gr8 beachfront views The deluxe 2 bedroom apartment was not deluxe, the apartment was outdated and very standard, the ensuite toilet did not flush, curtains had holes, mould everywhere very shabby. We arrived at 2.30pm and note that check in was 2.00pm however the cleaners were still cleaning and everything was left dirty ie the floors were not vacuumed or kitchen and bathroom was not clean, the only thing that was attended by the cleaners was that they changed the bed linen and we had clean towels. The beachfront view and location was amazing but the apartment is below standard. We called the property manager and they were very helpful they advised they would give us a refund and we could stay until we found another apartment. In the end we got a refund and paid $200 for cleaning fees. We found another apartment at Main Beach and we moved.

Room was not properly cleaned from last guest - Significant amount of sand in shower and soap dish uncleaned, and dust on side bench in main bedroom. Property in need of renovation. Dryer rack was rusty. Listed as having airconditioning but this was not in bedrooms. This was exacerbated by windows in main room being screwed shut. Curtains in main bedroom let in significant light even at night.

- Wallabygirl (6/5): Ok, but not worth the money in comparison to other options - Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. There was no air conditioning to the main lounge area, only the two bedrooms. Hot days made it very unpleasant to have to be anywhere except the bedrooms. We also paid for a Deluxe room, which is meant to be mid levels of the complex, but we were given a room on the 4th floor....barely mid level. The road noise was annoying, and would have been less on a higher floor.

- Brent (9/5): Great location - Great location, wonderful views. Apartment was clean & comfortable and well equipped for our family of 4. We would stay again. Handy to the beach and nearby cafes & restaurants. Easy walk around to Coolangatta beach & restaurants etc. Dedicated secure parking was great. Pool & sauna were enjoyed by family. Arrival was slightly challenging. We had requested a late check in (6-7pm). Arrive to find reception closed. phoned apartments and message offered phone number for emergencies (is this an emergency??). Once I called the staff member was super helpful. Quickly directed me to the lock box and provided a pin so we could retrieve our key and instructions. Having the lock box details provided prior to arrival would have alleviated the issue. No other issues at all.

- Breanna (9/5): Fantastic location, and spacious unit! - We stayed in unit 701 and the location was absolutely unbeatable. The 2 bed/2 bath unit was extremely spacious and the underground parking was convenient. There is also plenty of side street parking as we had 2 cars during our stay. Haigs st. Cafe was extremely close by and opens super early which we appreciated as well. It would be perfect for a family! The ceiling in the shower needed a bit of a clean due moisture buildup over time and minimal ventilation. We opened the window in the bathroom fully as there wasn't an extraction fan. The fan in the queen bedroom wasn't working and despite changing the battery, the remote and fan still did not work. It was cool when we visited, but there is no aircon or heat I. The bedrooms, only in the main living area.

We found the new interior paint colours very challenging - not at all relaxing or what we anticipated for the ambience of what is otherwise a lovely unit at the beach.

- DEB (9/5): Spacious family apartment - Great location, spacious family unit with brilliant views over Kirra. Well appointed with lots of kitchen items, and utensils. so you can easily cook instead of eating out. No hair dryer, did not provide face washers and minimal washing detergent and dishwasher powder. A second tea towel would have been useful For a family apartment, it was lacking in these items.

The staff in the reception were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The property is older, therefore not sparkling but it has a great relaxed feeling to it.

Stunning views No hair dryers in any of the bathrooms but the Dee manager kindly lent me hers No toaster No pool towels but again management stepped up and provided more bath towels A cabinet had been partially removed which ran the length of the dining area. Not its best feature Starting to look a little tired but the pros outweigh the cons

Unit was comfortable and spacious with large balcony and fantastic views, saw some whales splashing about in the ocean. Great facilities but only got chance to use pool. 2nd bedroom did not have blockout curtains. Could also do with an update, but clean and comfortable enough

- Geoff (8/5): Holiday on Kirra Beach - Great location and views on Kirra Beach and close to cafes and restaurants. The apartment was spacious with good facilities. Parts of the apartment needed a good clean. Some shelves had dust on them, and the doors were grimy, especially the front door. Updated gadgets and sharp knives in the kitchen would help when preparing food.

- Joseph (8/5): good comfortable and not too expensive. - good view from 2nd floor. bus a few meters from apartment .restaurants only a block or 2 away. friendly staff and 2 bathrooms. most things were satisfactory but difficult to find large rubbish bin in basement and the Shute was way too small.
