As it was a significant birthday family celebration, Paul went over and above to make it a special stay. Everyone had a wonderful mini break. The dining room chairs were a little uncomfortable, but this was due to us spending a considerable time at the table not only eating, but playing games as well.

• Stewart (9/5): Exemplary hosts, lovely house, quiet and convenient location. - There was a one-off plumbing problem while we were there and the hosts “went above and beyond” to deal with it and continue to make our stay comfortable. Exceptional service! The spa is great... even in winter! The property is about 1.5 k from Montville Main Street: just a little far to walk along the roadside. However, this is still closer than most other Montville guest houses, and it was off the road enough to be in a quiet location.
