• Sanita (6/5): Decent stay, disappointing deposit handling - The apartment itself was nice and the location was close to Calpe center to walk to, so the stay was generally good. However, the experience after checkout left a negative impression. Part of our deposit (€80) was withheld following claims about the condition of the apartment that, in our view, were overstated. Of course it was not left in perfect condition after being lived in for a week. At best some additional cleaning may have been needed. However, the description given to us of the apartment being in a “catastrophic state” and unlike anything the host had seen before were severely exaggerated. We were also told that various items needed replacing such as €20 for a tablecloth due to 1 tiny red stain and that walls required repainting. Based on the evidence provided to us, these conclusions seem disproportionate to the issues shown. What was most disappointing was the way this was communicated. The message included a personal remarks like “three women in their mid-30s should know how to behave,” which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Future guests may want to document the apartment carefully at checkout and clarify in advance what standard of deep cleaning is expected from them. Overall, the property itself was nice, but the handling of the deposit dispute means we would not choose to stay again.

• Ivaan01 (2/5): Muy mal - La terraza, limpieza y tranquilidad. No tiene gel ni champú Solo hay una bolsa de basura... Y nos alojamos 3 dias Tiene un consumo limitado de luz a 7kw/día, solo te informan cuando ya has pagado y llegas ahí. Además tienes que estar mirando todo el rato el contador de luz para no pasarte porque sino te cobran un dineral el kW extra. Toallas para la ducha enanas, básicamente parecen toallas de manos En las fotos la barbacoa es de gas y la que hay es de carbón (muy pequeña) dejando 3 trozos de carbón y ya te buscaras la vida. Al dueño lo tienes a 3 metros del apartamento ya que la casa se divide en 2 y son tus vecinos muy cercanos. Muchos mosquitos e insectos dentro. Almohadas escasas, básicamente son cojines cuadrados de sofá Colchones de 5 cm de alto junto a un somier de muelles, un ruido para no dormir.

• Laura (9/5): A lovely modern apartment which is well equipped and roomy. - This is a great apartment with super-friendly hosts. It is well equipped with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. It has air conditioning in the lounge which keeps it cool and fans in the bedrooms. There is also a large outdoor space which is great for eating al fresco. I would recommend you have a hire car if staying here.
