Guest Reviews
- Alex (8/5): - As described Air freshener was a bit overpowering, but once windows opened, better.
- andrew n robertson (9/5): - Great Location. Great experiencing a different accommodation style.
- Johnson (10/5): We really enjoyed staying in an old airstream caravan! It was unique and cosy. - How close everything was. The tranquil vibe and definitely the hot tub. A different but nice place to stay.
- Alastair (9/5): - Amazing little place, really unique which makes it an unforgettable experience. Jacuzzi is a lovely inclusion and location is great for accessing much of the area but still having a sense of privacy. The team in charge were very responsive to any questions asked and super pleasant. Highly recommend. Bed wonderfully comfortable but couch was a little awkward to sit on.
- David (10/5): Really fun and something different. Hot tub is awesome. - Hot tub was awesome. Well stocked and supplied, surprisingly comfortable for what is essentially a trailer.
- Julia (10/5): -
- Alex (8/5): Weekend break - Quirky place to stay. Loved the hot tub and ice bath. Had everything provided that you would need for a stay. Good location, short walk to Katoomba main street. Smelled a bit damp inside and no fly screens on any windows.

- Apinya (9/5): - Cozy

- Paul (8/5): Great, we’ll be back, what more can I say! - Great stay in a classic Airstream. Hot tub and BBQ made the weekend. The rain, but it didn’t spoil our stay.
- cherry (10/5): Great place with great ammenities and location! - Ammenities were great, loved waking up and being able to make a coffee as soon as I rolled out of the comfiest bed ever. Everything was set very nicely, the ac was super efficient, the lights at night were perfect for hanging out in the hot tub. Also really enjoyed the quiet of the area so we could really relax and sleep. An amazing getaway with everything you could need! Also fenced off so complete privacy. Would have preferred the the windows were able to completely shut. It was also slightly difficult to find the property, but that could be because it was at night.
- Sybella (9/5): Amazing - Very comfortable
Very private
Great location
- Dominique (9/5): Superb -
- Carly (9/5): Fun, quirky and comfortable stay in a great location! - Walking distance into town and train station. Amenities were great (the hosts thought of everything) and the hot water in the shower was excellent. The hot tub was such a nice addition, especially after hiking in the Blue Mountains.
- Nur (9/5): Superb -
- Phillip (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gavin (10/5): One of the best weekends I’ve had in a long time - It was so cool , I got a pleasant surprise not knowing exactly what Frankie was. The facilities were awesome
- Phoebe (10/5): Unique, clean and very comfortable stay - The airstream was very clean and well set up with cook utensils and cleaning products for us to use during our stay.
The owners provided us with detailed instructions on how to use everything and how to get in to the property.
We were very comfortable during our stay and loved how close the property was to cafes and restaurants. Only walking distance to town which was great as parking can be busy and expensive. Nothing, we loved it!
- Matthias (10/5): Exceptional - This was a great place with all you need. Nice RV, bbq Grill and whitspool and nice Garden. We definitiv come back one Day.
- Andres (9/5): Superb -
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional - This was a unique and kooky place to stay and far more fun than a boring hotel room. It is close to Katoomba if you wanted to walk in for a meal and a few drinks however, the place has a nice little garden and decking area to relax with a barbecue if you wanted to spend the evening there. The hot tub was lovely and warm on arrival and stayed warm for the entire duration. The staff were very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to any enquiries. Nothing, it was all great.
- Neave (10/5): Perfect for a couples weekend get away in the blue mountains:) - I loved this Airbnb! It was absolutely perfect! So clean and modern inside. Had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was amazing and the bbq. Close to everything you could possibly need during your stay. It was so clean and tidy and the bed was super comfy. Me and my boyfriend will definitely be staying again:) We didn’t dislike anything!
- Pui (9/5): Superb - Lovely lil place for 2..we had a great time, has everything and is near to town.
- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ella (8/5): Very good -
- Maya (8/5): Quiet and unique recluse perfect for a couples getaway ! - Amazing amenities - cooking appliances and utensils especially !! Loved the jacuzzi and the BBQ which made for a great cosy date night. The location is super quiet and private, no overlooking neighbours ! Bed was super comfy, loved the electric blanket and room for heaps of storage. Bathroom window didnt close, was extremely cold when showering, especially after using the jacuzzi, quite a shock ! The cold air also made its way to the bedroom which meant needing some extra layers. But overall not a huge deal and made for a funny memory speed showering in the Winter cold. The only other issue was a strange smell when first entering the property, but it faded after an hour or so as we got used to it, maybe it was just the cleaning supplies, not a big deal.
- Marvin (6/5): Pleasant - Nice location close to popular tourist spots in the Blue Mountains. You have your own private parking spot right next to the garden. Nice and helpfull people at the agency which rent out the airstream. It could use a lot of improvement. The windows open very hard and some of them are allmost impossible to close again. The wifi is very bad and at a lot of times not even available. There is no table outside so you have to eat inside, where the table is way too low compared with the seats (not only very uncomfortable to eat, but also gives you a backache after 5 minutes eating like that). Outside there is very little space covered from the sun (or rain) and there is no umbrella or canopy. Unfortunately you don´t have any privacy because neighbours can look in the garden from every angle.
- Mcrae (10/5): Exceptional -
- Josie (10/5): Fantastic Frankie. - Excellent accommodation, had everything we needed, nice and clean. The hot tub was lovely after a busy day. Sitting on the decking watching the wildlife of an evening was a lovely way to wind down. Nothing.
- Sinéad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Giorgia (8/5): Very good - Beautiful accomodation overall - Missing a table outside
- a bit too close to neighbours
- Caroline (6/5): A very disappointing stay all of which could be avoided if there was some attention to detail & if previous reviews - Good location & the bed was comfy. The living area was spacious & the outside area spacious. There was a problem with the lock. Very difficult to open on arrival but managed. On day 2 we were locked out for over 2 hours while waiting for a locksmith. On his arrival it became clear that the company knew there was something wrong with the lock but nothing had been done about it.
The internet was non existent & this was extremely annoying as we are traveling from overseas & have limited data. We did contact the management company but nothing was done about it.
The weather was very wet while we were there & there are no hooks to hang wet weather gear on. There is no where to dry towels after your shower & no extra ones.
There was only one bar stool outside instead of two ! There definitely needs to be some basic improvements done.
- Maja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wilson (10/5): Exceptional - We had an excellent time at Frankie. The place was spotless and very cozy. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. It was in an excellent location as well! Would definitely recommend!
- Rai (10/5): Perfect place to explore the blue mountains in the day and unwind in the evening - Delightful little place with a cozy interior and a spacious deck perfect for a couple of nights stay. Very tempting to just stay in and not go anywhere with the jacuzzi and bbq on the patio. It’s a caravan so obviously it’s a little tight inside but nothing unmanageable.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leah (9/5): perfect relaxing couples night away in the heart of the blue mountains, almost everything was thought of to make it a pe - great location - 5 min drive from Katoomba and no more than 10 mins drive to all of the other surrounding BM villages. so many kitchen utensils along with teas and coffees, blue mountains guide book, lots of clearly labelled tags around and clear instruction on how to use stuff.
it was beautiful, the owner has done an exceptional job on renovating this place into what it is. I could live there, it was so cute! the outdoor heater didn’t work.
there wasn’t much storage for clothes so a wardrobe area would be a good addition.
some pegs to hang your coats up in the hallway are needed.
the windows are really difficult to close once you open them so I’d avoid opening and just keep the door open if you need to let some air in.
the hot tub area could do with a gazebo like cover to give shelter and total privacy from the neighbours
other than these few little teething issues, the property would be perfect
- Honora (8/5): Loved the property, property manager not so much - The air steam is so cute and the property looks just as it does in the pictures. It was very well equipped with all cooking needs, coffee machine with pods and milk, smart tv, etc. I specifically enquired about the property and jacuzzi being heated for our arrival as it’s the mountains in the middle of winter. I received a reply that the jacuzzi would be on and heated - it wasn’t. So we couldn’t use it the first night. It was 5 degrees Celsius so instead of having a special night to celebrate my partners birthday in the jacuzzi and just being able to relax I had to get onto the phone to the property managers to find out how to get the central heating working, and we sat there freezing for the first 40 mins- 1 hr. I was pretty unhappy no one had bothered to heat it up before our arrival. The property manager Heidi, instead of being apologetic basically argued with me and said that as the cleaner came at 7am how could they possibly leave the heating on all day? And made out like I was being difficult for not wanting to freeze! Turns out there was an oil heater with a timer they could have left on or they could have - like property manager’s are paid to - just go there and turn the heating on for a while before the check in time. The rudeness and lack of customer service is not what you expect when you’re paying over $300 a night to stay there!
- Vyorien (9/5): Overall it was a very unique experience and I’d love to do it again! - Amazing location, close to everything! This place is perfect if you’re looking for a glamping experience but with a hot tub which was the best part Could get a bit claustrophobic and 2 nights is the best recommended stay length
