Guest Reviews
- Rosa (5/5): Disappointing after the hype and photos that must have been taken about 5 years ago. - The location and the period building. View from the windows. Dirty rug and floors and toilet . Fake, faded and very dusty plants and flowers. Clutter and dated /stale decor.
The framing of the closed in balcony is coming away from the wall of the building. Looks dangerous. Old furniture in this sunroom.
The security screen of the kitchen door is the only key security from the back steps leading to the courtyard. The screen was very dirty . The wooden door key does not work.
Cupboards in the kitchen are so high that a ladder is needed to get glasses and plates out. ( ladder is supplied)
Flickering dining room lights.
Dirty and worn mattress protectors - found when I stripped the bed before checkout.
Both bedrooms have broken windows / glass and padding of tissues and cardboard have been used to stop rattling and leakage.

- Debra (8/5): Very good - Breakfast not provided. Location good, although noisy at night. Windows rattled with wind. Some of the dishes in cupboard where dirty. Unable to access rear stairs due to key stuck in lock (fire hazard)
- Claudia (7/5): Good - Very close to the beach although it was very crowded all day long. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the pillows too hard.
Every night, from 1-2 o clock a.m., the traffic noise became very loud as people in their cars and motorbikes sharply accelerated after the roundabout.
The lamp in the dining was flickering due to broken light bulbs.
Due to too many furniture and stuff standing arround it was hard to move in the apartment.
Compulsory we had to pay 25 AUD for possibly damages. We just got that information shortly before check in. So we didnt have a chance to decline it. So thats additional hidden costs.
When we went to the washing machine, that was stairs down in a booth outside, it was very untidy, with broken chairs and stuff standing qround, we were quite surprised about the mess.
The next supermarket is more then a kilometre away, not so good, if you don't have a car.
Not a big choice of restaurants.
The bed linens had staints.
A very complex check-in process. It felt like a paper chase. With all the expectations the renters built up with several mails we expected something fantastic, but at the end we got disappointed. That was very sad.
- Annette (10/5): Made a very special weekend for us very relaxed and easy - Great location, had everything we needed to attend my son's wedding. Was as described. The location of the keys could have been clearer, they were in a lock box in a mail box...we were told at the front of the building. Arriving from the airport at 2am, this was a little frustrating but we managed. Also, the whole place was clean but a little dusty.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Great location
- Sandra (9/5): Great summer location - Location was great. Light and airy rooms. Comfortable beds Could have street noise at night. Location very close to beach carpark.
Cups/mugs located too high in kitchen
- Marko (9/5): SPRINGTIME RETREAT IN WILLIAMSTOWN - Beautiful Williamstown historic brick building with so much charm and character, featuring a beautiful wood, glass and twisted iron entrance door, high ceilings and decorative cornices, hallway arches, french doors and windows and wooden floorboards.
The two bedrooms are spacey and well appointed. The kitchen is modern and well appointed with modern facilities making it a breeze to prepare a meal and eat in some nights. The bathroom is neat and very modern.
The main lounge room window view is amazing overlooking the beach across the road. Never gets old.
Williamstown beach and kiosk are only a stone's throw away making a walk along the beach and fresh roasted coffee every morning a breeze. Could not plug in my Tesla rental overnight to give it a top up charge as there was no garage or power outlet available.
No laundry facilities inside the unit.
- Campbell (10/5): Comfort and class in a sublime location - Everything Lights flickering and rattling sometimes
- Brendan (8/5): Great -
