Guest Reviews
- Rhonda (5/5): A disappointing stay - It had a good location close to train, underground and bus. Poor facilities, no plug for the sink so made it extremely hard to wash up. Washing machine didn’t work. Room was warm and there was a tiny desk fan to circulate the air. Kitchen smelt and occasionally the room smelt of smoke possibly from someone smoking nearby or downstairs and it took so long for the smell to go from the room. Studio apartment needs some tidying up of the paintwork and replacing of kitchen cupboards.
- Peggy (8/5): A clean, charming small studio in an excellent location. Would highly recommend for a single person. - Great location, just a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station. Neighborhood feels safe. A charming little studio. Very clean which is difficult to do in such an old building. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen. Much more than I expected at this price point. I chose this studio for two reasons: it had an elevator and a washing machine in the apartment. I learned just before my arrival that one must carry bags up a flight of stairs before reaching the elevator and 5 more stairs after reaching the desired floor. The washing machine did not work. The host was very kind and gave me directions to a nearby laundry and offered to reimburse me for expenses. Unfortunately, my mobility challenges (I require a cane) made both issues a bigger problem. For a younger, more mobile guest, these would present only minor inconvenience.
- Karl (4/5): Poor. Dirty bathroom. No internet. Broken lights/switches. No reply from vendor when emailed. - £200 deposit required at last minute, which became £300 and no receipt provided.
Fishy smell and rubbish in corridor on arrival.
Intermittent and extremely poor internet - reverted to phone 4G which had little to no phone signal in any case.
TV not working and no internet access as too poor.
Shower arm broken with almost no power and lots of hairs in bath plug hole.
Encrusted dust on top cabinet in bathroom.
Bedside lamp not working - suspect electrical short.
Main bedroom wall light switch broken.
Draught through windows (no double glazing).
No communications from Westminster Apartments after emails sent.
