• Graham (8/5): - Obtaining key difficult. Code did not work. Given new code by email and it was ok then. Location, spacious and very functional. Could do with 1 UK news channel as standard.

No privacy in the kitchen/living area with window looking straight into other apartments and no block out blinds/curtains.

• Tara (9/5): - The place was beautiful. Tram right outside and coles downstairs. Was slightly away from bridge road so wasn't loud at all. The beds were comfy and plenty of utensils for cooking. Aircon in both the bedroom and lounge made a huge difference. Will definitely be rebooking when we visit next time. The couch in the lounge area was slightly uncomfortable.

• Neil (8/5): Ideal place to stay if you want to visit Melbourne. Ticks all the boxes. - The location for us was excellent for our requirements. The property was a bit dark. Although there were blinds in the living area they were not very opaque and people could see in at night if the lights were on. More towels would have been helpful and a lamp in the lounge would be good.

• Jacquie (8/5): Nice apartment with lots of amenities! - The property was very spacious for four adults and was supplied with everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and the location in Richmond was perfect for us. Coles was very handy as well as the location of the tram and neighbouring restaurants. The apartment was clean and very comfortable! Checking in was very stressful. The key access box was not working and it took three hours from the time we arrived at the property until we were able to get a key. The staff were trying to assist but communications were very slow. The issue with the key access box was addressed with Urban Rest.

Location is great. no coathangers in any wardrobe was disappointing. Access to keys was difficult we had to phone the call centre to access the box and many residents advised that that was an on going issue.

• Sarah (2/5): Extremely disappointing - Convenient location especially with Richmond Traders underneath the building with a Coles, cafes, Priceline, grocer etc. In door pool was nice. It was very difficult to find the entrance to the building. The key safe code did not work and it took a long time to reach someone to have this rectified. When I finally got to the apartment I discovered it had not been cleaned and was filthy. One of the toilets was filled with faeces. There was rubbish and crumbs everywhere, personal items from previous guests left behind etc. I was initially told that there were no other rooms available which was extremely stressful. They eventually advised they had organised a new room, however the key safe code did not work again and took a long time to resolve. I reached the new room about 3 hours after arriving. The new room was much better although the air conditioning vent was also very loud making it difficult to sleep, a toilet seat was broken (which was never attended to during my stay) and there was no tea of coffee pods provided. The laundry detergent sheet box was also empty. It took 4 days to have the tea coffee and detergent restocked. I requested one night's refund for the inconvenience and stress caused which was declined. A small refund was provided which I did not feel sufficiently compensated for the severity of the situation.

• Gigi (9/5): Great quiet and comfortable place to stay with plenty of room. Amazing gym and pool too! - The beds were so comfortable, the location was convenient and quiet. Great having a full Coles below and good food options near by. Free parking a bonus too. Key pick up was tricky being remote and my code didn’t work the first time so I needed to call for help.

• T.Kona (7/5): - Location was great , apartment set up was great . The apartment was not cleaned very well at all . Bedding was dirty, broken shelve in shower and was just left on the shower floor . Balcony had spilt drinks all over the floor and was not cleaned . Was sticky , dusty etc .

• Melissa (8/5): A couple of negatives, but overall great. - Great location, close to public transport and heaps of cafes. Coles right next door. Very comfortable bed, big wardrobe with lots of hangers (a rarity 😄). The kitchen has everything you need, including Nespresso machine, dishwasher and large fridge. I like the fact there are plenty of plates, cups etc., so you don't have to wash up every time you use the crockery. Quality, environmentally conscious toiletries and cleaning products. Washing machine/dryer combo is very convenient. Large TV, good wifi. CHECK-IN. This was a nightmare. It's an electronic key safe. Took over an hour to establish that no-one had actually put our keys in the safe. The sweet lady at the help desk was apologetic but the phone was dropping out and although the helpline is shown as Sydney, I suspect it's offshore, which makes communication difficult. While we were waiting, a resident told us he sees people having problems all the time so clearly an issue that needs urgent addressing. The other major negative is the lack of blackout blinds in the living area. The single see-through blind means you need to close the bedroom door so as to block out the light and be able to sleep.

Full kitchen and laundry helped and a full kitchen meant we could cook all our meals. Facilities within the building were amazing as well, the pool was great, and the common rooms were comfortable and clean. Bit of a walk to the pool, but otherwise fantastic

• Lisa Jay (9/5): Fantastic location and well equipped property - The location is terrific. Coles is downstairs plus a deli and other stores so you can self cater if you like. The gym is well equipped and the pool is indoor so usable in any weather. I really appreciated access to a yoga mat in my room. While I wasn't able to join the free yoga classes they're a lovely option. The building has a real community feel. Offstreet parking was handy. We got use out of the washer and drier.

• Brett (10/5): If you want a fresh, modern and comfortable stay, then Urban Rest Richmond will tick those boxes - Clean, modern, well located and secure. All minor issues. The drains in the main shower were either blocked or were very slow to drain. We cleaned out the ensuite shower drain ourselves to stop water from flowing into the rest of the ensuite. The dishwasher is unable to fully open because of the kitchen kickpanels. The aircon was also a little noisy and needs to be checked. This seems a lot but we enjoyed our experience overall.

• Elisse (10/5): - Lovely spacious apartment. My requests for a cot and highchair were accommodated. Having a full kitchen, washer and dryer is handy when you have a little one. All the amenities you need as well - even little things like clothes drying rack, oil and foil in the cupboard for cooking, as well as quality cookware. It was a beautiful stay and I would stay again.

The couch was very uncomfortable. The configuration of the apartment, the bathroom was near the entrance rather than it being close to the bedroom.

The “Richmond Traders” below the apartment offers lots of food options. Arrival and departure instructions did not work/couldn’t gain access and no onsite team to contact Beds missing from one of the bedrooms (advertised as a 3 bedroom) Fault with the air con unit resulting in not being able to regulate the temperature Communication with the hosting company very difficult Basic items you would expect in a kitchen to cook were not present Questionable cleaning particularly the carpets
