- Dilara (8/5): Perfekt to bist the Park from here - Perfekte Lage Tolle Mitarbeiter Man muss sein Bett selber beziehen. Nervig bei Late Check in oder wenn andere mitten in der Nacht kommen. Statt Vorhänge gibt’s hier Rollos. Unpraktisch Schließfächer sind laut Es gibt nur zwei duschen und zwei Toiletten wobei nur eine davon die westliche Toilette ist. Super nervig, dass die Tür nach innen aufgeht.

Спасибо Девид! - ну с хостелом в Ченду конечно не сравнить - там вообще было все новое и красивое, но здесь тоже есть свои плюсы, которые с лихвой перевешивают любые недостатки: очень вкусные домашние ужины из 5-7 блюд всего за 38 юаней (каждый день разные блюда, но много мяса и овощей), пельмешки собственного изготовления - нормальная порция за 15 юаней в любое время дня, классная дружеская атмосфера - в основном иностранцы из всех уголков земли - вечерние посиделки за ужином и после - реально сдружили нас всех! На ресепшене все рассказали и показали на хорошем английском, забронировали все билеты и вообще во всем помогали. Дэвид, спасибо тебе огромное за всё!!! Есть стиральная машина за 5 юаней (с порошком), сушильная машина бесплатно. Есть тапки, горячая вода для чая. Расположение - огонь: всего 3 минуты до входа в парк и 5 минут до автовокзала. К сожалению нет лифта - на четвертый этаж бегать каждый раз не оч.удобно (если что забыл перед выходом - лишний раз подумаешь еще возвращаться или нет). Еще не оч удобно что туалетная бумага снаружи кабинки. хз сколько с собой отматывать - а вдруг не хватит? Мне кажется в таком раскладе расход даже больше получается чем если в каждую кабинку бумагу положить.

- Luke (10/5): Great location, comfortable rooms, and outstanding support from the staff. - Travel of Swan International Hostel was a great stay, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds, especially good for a hostel. The location couldn’t be better for accessing the East Gate, including the Avatar Mountains and Golden Whip Stream. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and Winnie was particularly outstanding. She went above and beyond by helping me book Zhangjiajie activities and entry tickets, and even put together a custom itinerary for me in advance. I’d highly recommend getting in touch via WeChat ahead of time and giving them enough notice, as their support can really enhance your trip.

- Shaun (10/5): - Another very good basic well ran hostel. David is very helpful with Any issues you might have. He speaks pretty good English and can book the national park tickets from the hostel immediately. The hostel has produced a very good two day itinerary which is very detailed and easy to follow. If you add to this a further public bus ride (13¥ each way) to the Glass bridge and Canyon adventure area that will cover three pretty intensive days. The reception lounge area is very cool and relaxed and the cold Beers are again just 6¥. The 5th floor roof terrace is also very cool and you can wash and dry your clothes by hand free of charge. Excellent location, surrounded with shops and food stalls and just a 5 Min walk to enter the East gate of the national park. The Beds are very comfortable and clean with privacy blinds plus all have their own small light and power socket. The room electronic Key is also used for a very large personal locker All inclusive of the room fee. Hot water is available 24/7 for drinks or the very popular Chinese Pot noodles etc

- Jinghan (6/5): Friendly staff but the place needs some deep cleaning and maintenance. - The location was amazing, 5min walk to the East entrance of Wulingyuan. They also let us check in early since they had a room available. The staff was all friendly. It was unfortunate that such a beautiful place and new building was badly maintained. It was obvious that the staff didn’t really know how to clean and didn’t hire cleaners. The shared rooms with multiple people looked better, but our room had a lot of hair and dust bunnies on the floor, as well as scuff/dead bug marks on the wall. The bathroom and curtains had some black mould, and the shower drain had flies in it when we arrived. The AC worked well but looked neglected with mould or dirt visible. When we asked about the issues the staff was apologetic and came to spray insecticides and re-mop the floor. I asked if there was a vacuum I could use but they did not have that, which explained the hair and dust. This probably started as a very cute place but now has lost some of its charm due to the lack of proper maintenance. I understand it is a hostel but there was a lot I could’ve done myself in 30min if I was the owner - if the staff is reading this review: please get a vacuum, wash the curtains and mouldy bathroom with vinegar, and scrub the walls!
- Radharv (10/5): One Stop Hostel for everything you need in Wulingyuan - Staffs were super helpful, shout out to Dewy and An who helped me a lot in this trip. They answer my endless questions with ease and booked lots of attractions with discounted price! I met many friends from this hostel and we had a dinner two nights in a row. Hostel is so close to the East Gate and restaurants. Across the hostel, there's breakfast place and supermarket that sells some breads. It really felt like home away from home. Nothing I can think of really.

- Anja (5/5): Dirty but close to the park - Staff was lovelyyy! Location - it’s 2min walk to the park. But if you want to go to Tianmon mountain, you have to go first to the city (25min) and there take the cablecar. Everything is DIRTY. It’s really sad because you can see everything is kinda newly renovated and it’s really bad that they do not have cleaning staff as they don’t know how to clean. Dirty common space, dirty bathrooms, bad was not okay, there was mold in the bedroom,… I would not stay here.

- Joshua (10/5): Fantastic location (10 min walk from the entrance to the Zhangjiajie National Park), amazing value - The hostel is about a 10 minute walk from the Wulingyuan enterance of the Zhangjiajie National Park - a fantastic location even for lodging that would cost several times more per night! The hostel and facilities are clean throughout. The host provided valuable info through WeChat, particularly on weather conditions in the park that affected transportation options within the park. Great value for your money given the comfort, cleanliness, and superb location! Just one note: make sure you can use Alipay - you can only pay for the laundry machine using Alipay. Nothing in particular!
