• iuliana cristina (1/5): AVOID this place! - I guess it was close to the center. TWO days without hot water, bathroom reeking of sewage, filthy air conditioning machines, cockroches, glasses previously used as ashtrays, NO windows at all, dirty and broken couch. Staff distant, uncaring, unkind. We decided to file a complaint to the Spanish health authorities.

• John (3/5): Disappointed and regretting our choice; we won't be back. - The only positive I can give regarding this apartment is, it was only a 15/20 min drive from the airport and only a 6 or 7 min walk down to the sea front. Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by a persistent damp smell throughout the apartment, particularly noticeable in both bedrooms. We observed visible mold growth around the window frames and in the corner walls of the upstairs bedroom, which was concerning. The bathroom also presented some challenges. We found the lack of towel hanging space inconvenient, and the faulty sliding door made it difficult to close, leading to steam buildup in the bedroom after showering and exacerbating the dampness issue. We raised these concerns with Sunstays on two separate occasions, and also pointed out the mold to a maintenance worker who visited to repair a bedroom door handle. Regrettably, no remedial action was taken during our stay. The apartment's location meant there was no balcony or rear space, which made drying laundry difficult. We were provided with a limited number of towels for a week's stay, necessitating washing them, and the only practical drying option was to use the provided clothes rack on the pavement at the front of the property, which was not ideal. Additionally, the combi washer/dryer appeared to be nearing the end of its lifespan. The drum bearing was clearly failing, resulting in a very loud noise during operation. The missing or broken door to the downstairs bathroom, where the washer is located, meant there was no way to contain the noise. While the apartment's location may be desirable, we felt the issues we experienced significantly detracted from our overall enjoyment. If we could have changed our flights we would have left two days earlier than planned, unfortunately this wasn't possible. We hope the management addresses these maintenance concerns for future guests.
