• Robert (9/5): Loved the opportunity to stay in a treehouse. This property did not disappoint. - I was not sure what to expect when I booked this property. Leading up to our arrival, the owner and I communicated several times about things I needed to know. Upon arrival at the property, my party separated between the 2 treehouses I had booked. My group were amazed at the how much room we had. The kitchen was well equipped. There was fresh eggs and bread on the counter. Tap water was safe to drink. Beds were comfortable. I thought that it would have been nice to have AC but the nights were cool enough to sleep comfortably. Grounds looked well kept but signs of construction were present. I would definitely return to the property should I find myself in Monteverde again. Parking lot was small. Visible signs of construction work took away from looks of the grounds.

• John (10/5): Great adventure for the a family of four. - It was a really nice little cabin in the trees with five total beds in an open floorplan (two sets of bunk beds and one big queen bed). We sat on the porch in the swinging chairs and listened to the jungle. We didn’t see a ton of creatures but it was really relaxing. The kitchen was really well stocked. Nothing - it was really great.

• Anne (10/5): Outstanding treehouse with amazing wildlife in a tranquil location - Our stay here was outstanding; we didn't want to leave! We stayed in the treehouse called Coati and the photos on the website don't really do it justice. It was spotlessly clean, with a fridge, cooking facilities, coffee maker and large bathroom. The large, peaceful balcony has a hammock and two rope swing chairs, which are perfect for relaxing in to view the amazing wildlife. A coati was waiting for us when we arrived, and we also saw capuchin monkeys, agoutis and lots of gorgeous birds. Steven was very easy to communicate with and really helpful, and the staff who welcomed us were lovely. There was a large basket of eggs and two loaves of bread for us to make breakfast, and tea, coffee, milk powder and sugar were all provided. There are several bars and restaurants nearby, but we chose to walk down to the centre of Santa Elena, which is about 25 minutes - quite steep on the way back, but a good leg-stretch after dinner! Nothing - everything was perfect!

• Jan (3/5): ok, Please read my comments - I am writing this to warn you. I forgot my passport with money in the room when checking out in the morning and was absolutely certain that I had left it there. Then, when I called after 5 hours to ask if I could pick it up, it had suddenly never been there. The manager is really okay, but be careful what you leave in the room for the cleaning crew. That was a truly sad experience with a lot of trouble arranging a new passport.

Seule la dame de ménage nous a sauvé et guidé Et puis au f> al nous n'avons pas vu franchement d'animaux depuis la chambre. On entend les singes mais c'est tout

The actual treehouse was incredible, up in the branches of the tree. It was huge with a lovely shower! eggs, bread and chocolates were provided by the owners. Would go back here - a slice of heaven! They were easy to communicate with and helpful when we asked for recommendation or assistance with booking some activities. The tree house was clean and comfortable. Great location close to town.

• Lucia (10/5): Such a great, secluded place to stay in Monteverde - Very secluded in the jungle. Very comfortable, clean, spacious. Owner left fresh eggs and bread for breakfast. We didn’t have many animals around which was very disappointing but I know that cannot be controlled.

The road to get to the property isn’t paved and there is a lot of traffic noise nearby. It’s not as remote as expected due to the people/traffic noise.
• Julien (10/5): Great place to stay in Monteverde - The location amongst the trees and the balcony with the hammock and hanging chairs are fantastic. The interior was really nicely done and very clean too. The little kitchen area has almost everything you need and the complimentary eggs, bread and coffee are a nice touch. I wish we had stayed an extra night, if I really had to nitpick I would say the kitchen area could do with an extra light.

Welcome pack was a nice touch. Lovely spot for a relaxing few days. Nothing - although we have stayed here before and preferred the glamping treehouses they offer. Personal preference as both are fab options
• Annabel (10/5): - We absolutely loved it here and would highly recommend. We saw so many animals in Monteverde. All staff were extremely helpful and responsive. The only thing we'd change is that next time we would book a chalet that is higher off the ground so that we can be closer to the treetops. But we stayed in a number of places during our travels across Costa Rica and this was by far the best.

Five minutes to a few restaurants, 20 mins walk into Santa Elena town. Lots of very loud wildlife…very cool but bring earplugs 😆 Bit hard for some tour companies to find…look for signs to Treehouse Living or Cala Lodge

Be careful not to leave crumbs on the deck or the coatis will come quickly to visit! It was a perfect stay in a tree house! No complaints

• Fiona (10/5): Great forest treehouse location - Great location on the edge of the forest. Great facilities, they even left bread, eggs and chocolates for us. We don't have mobility issues but I was impressed with the gentle, sloping access to the treehouse making it accessible to most (doorway to bedroom and kitchen access could be awkward for larger wheelchairs) Bed was huge and very comfortable. Just 2 of us stayed but in addition to the double bed there was a bunk bed in the bedroom and another double in the loft space above the bathroom, so could have slept 6! Access to the forest seemed to be limited to the short paths to the different tree houses. We were hoping we could walk into the forest from there, maybe we just didn't find the right path.

Usamos dos casas, la que tiene el glamping con habitación y otra para 6 personas. Ambas muy cómodas, aunque chiquitas, no hay mucho espacio para juntarse a cenar. Los dueños nos atendieron muy bien, nos recibió la chica y fue muy amable, inclusive nos dejaron todo para hacernos desayuno (huevos, pan, cafe) Recomiendo para quedarse 2 noches y vivies la experiencia en el bosque

• Candy (9/5): - Ubicación perfecta, cerca del centro de Monteverde, pero en una calle secundaria, rodeado de naturaleza El único inconveniente de la habitación elegida fue que colindaba con una bodega o similar. Optamos por este tipo de alojamiento porque las habitaciones estaban separadas entre sí, pero durante gran parte del día hubo personal en ese espacio, lo que se sintió como tener vecinos poco silenciosos justo al lado, de pared por medio.

Tenia una estufa que simulava una llar de foc i assecadora per les sabates fantàstica. I una família de coatis que et venen a veure. Vam tenir una plaga de formigues i tot comentar-li al propietari no va fer res.
• Lukas (9/5): - Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Sitzplatz mit schönem Ausblick in den Dschungel und verschiedenen Verweilmöglichkeiten (Stühle, Hängestühle und Hängematte) gefiel uns sehr. Besonders freute uns auch, dass eine Möglichkeit bestand die nassen kleider aufzuhängen, sowie ein Raumentfeuchter vorhanden war. Einzig fehlten uns Nachttischlampen.

Maricela est très agréable et accueillante, elle est à disposition et très réactive à nos demandes. Laura (la propriétaire) est très réactive également et très arrangeante.

• Devarajan (10/5): - Beautiful property. Good amenities. Helpful staff (Laura) Shower pressure was really low. Almost a drip. Maybe it's intentional to conserve water. A little hard to find the location. When we clicked on the directions on the reservation, it took us to the nearby Cala lodge.
• Karen (7/5): Fun stay in the Monteverde forest - Great location and spectacular scenery. The glamping was fun and coatis came to see us in the morning. Within an easy walk to restaurants in town. The shower was rather unpredictable and be prepared to have earplugs as the wind is very loud in the treehouse.

Kitchen was simple but helpful. If you come for a long hot shower, this is not your place. The shower as very low pressure. But we didn’t mind.

• Lara (9/5): Great base for exploring Monteverde - Great location close to the town, but still secluded in the forest. Cozy swings, cute lights at night and all the basic supplies in the little kitchen (fridge, stove cooker, cutlery and plates). Friendly staff and the check-in process worked smoothly. Sometimes it was a bit loud due to traffic in the distance. During the night it was very windy, and a door kept slamming shut in the distance. This woke us up several times.

• Esaú (7/5): - Me gustó la sensación que se vive estando en el bosque, ya que escuchas a los animales por la noche, y amaneces viendo todo tipo de animales. La calidad - precio me parece que es algo elevada para lo que ofrece. Habían zonas de humedad sobretodo el baño, por lo que las toallas costaba secarse, en la cocinilla se quedaba el olor a gas después de cocinar y se mantenía, no había caja fuerte… creo que para el precio que tiene se puede optar a otros alojamientos por la zona similares de precio y en mejores condiciones.

• Anna (7/5): - The location is very unique, set in the middle of a small forest. During our stay we saw agoutis, armadillos, capuchin monkeys, a variety of birds and a coati lounging on the stairs. The property is close to amenities in town. The bed was very comfy. The check in process wasn’t great. We hadn’t been sent any information prior to arrival, and upon arrival discovered there was no reception. We were welcomed by a cleaning lady who was very friendly, but the manager of the property who I contacted via whatsapp and the person who came in to collect the payment weren’t. There was no kettle in the room, which was resolved during our stay Please note the humidity is extremely high - there was a dehumidifier but didn’t make a huge difference. Monkeys jumping on the metal roof The water pressure in the shower was low and it was difficult to set the right temperature

• Cristian (9/5): Very nice sleep in the forest - Staying in the middle of the forest was great experience. Curtains may need improvement. There is lots of windows which is nice, but the curtains do not cover the whole are and also let much light in. Besides there is a path to other cabins passing close by and that leaves this particular cabin a bit exposed, and since the curtains do not cover the whole window area, then it is lacking some privacy as well.

• Elleen (10/5): Stay here! You won't regret it! - We loved everything about our treehouse. They had everything we needed to make meals, the room was spacious, the patio was so relaxing with a hammock, hammock chairs and an outdoor sofa/chair/coffee table set. Luiz met us in the parking lot to check us in. He walked us to our treehouse and stayed to make sure we were happy with everything. Because they don't have an office, you pay him cash when you arrive. You can pay USD or colones. Everything was so clean and beautiful. We woke up to pazotes (coatis) climbing in the trees next to us. My boys pointed out a baby capybara while walking to the car! It was so close to everything. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. There was only one very small thing I would suggest but honestly not a big deal. A sign on the side street that you turn off of to get the the driveway. There is a sign for another hotel so you're not sure if you're in the right place but if you turn there and go farther back you'll see a sign for Treehouse Bosque Nuboso.

Tiene hasta un secador de zapatillas. No es difícil de encontrar si usas Waze Me hubiera gustado todo unido el domo con la zona construida
• brian (6/5): The cabin is comfortable and a good base to explore but overpriced given the lack of facilities. - The cabin was comfortable and had all the necessary appliances. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was big too.Outside the cabin were nice hammocks were we spotted howler monkeys. No reception, so it felt a little impersonal. The cabin was in the middle of trees and was dark.
